The Hypocrisy Of The Republicans...
Posted 4 weeks ago...is in full view with the shutdown.
These are the same people who fired hundreds of thousands of qualified government workers via DOGE, yet they have the unmitigated gall to accuse the Dems of being responsible for it, while they use mob style extortion tactics such as threatening to either not pay or fire governmentt workers, which they will not be successful in doing. There WILL be lawsuits. Trump proposed and passed legislation in 2017 that insured that workers would get payed after a shutdown. Guess that doesn't matter. They've openly said that they'll go after Democratic states, but of course this would also hurt Republicans in those states as well. They're also hijacking people's work account away messages and posting messages from blaming the Dems, and at airports they are posting video messages from Kristi "Puppykiller" Noem blaming the Dems for delays. These things are in violation of the Hatch Amendment.
Oh, and let us not forget their using of the shutdown as an excuse for not swearing in Adelita Grijalva despite recently swearing in a couple of Reps, because they know that she'll be the last vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files. Trump also just said that he'd pay the military during the shutdown.
No one's buying this shit but the usual MAGA boot lickers.

Morons On Antifa
Posted 4 weeks agohttps://www.democracynow.org/2025/1.....er_its_funders
"President Trump led a roundtable on antifa Wednesday, hosting far-right activists posing as “independent journalists.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem compared antifa to MS-13, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamic State. This follows President Trump’s executive order last month designating antifa as a “domestic terrorist organization.” Here’s Trump on Wednesday claiming without evidence that antifa is paid and funded.
President Donald Trump: “The epidemic of left-wing violence and antifa-inspired terror has been escalating for nearly a decade. At universities, antifa has organized riotous mobs to attack campus speakers. I see it all the time. And these are — these are agitators, anarchists, and they’re paid. … We’re going to be very threatening to them, far more threatening to them than they ever were with us. And that includes the people that fund them.”
-Do you really ""see it all the time", Donny? Might you just be seing that on Faux? I suppose they're all burning flags as well? And who's funding them? George Soros, I suppose?
These far right internet influencers obviously know fuck all about antifa.
Someone who ACTUALLY knows something about antifa is Mark Bray, who wrote the best book about antifa and its history:
kpfa.org/player/?audio=459884
Bray recently made the decision to move his family to Spain due to death threats from Trump cult thugs:
https://www.democracynow.org/2025/1....._death_threats
"Rutgers University history professor Mark Bray says his family is moving from New Jersey to Spain after receiving death threats, including at their home address. Bray was teaching courses on anti-fascism and terrorism at Rutgers and is the author of the 2017 book “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.” His planned flight from the U.S. comes after the Rutgers chapter of the campus conservative group Turning Point USA circulated a petition labeling him “Dr. Antifa” and calling for him to be fired. In an interview with Newsweek, Bray said, “This is reflective of the broader trend in the country. The Trump administration, I believe, is moving the country in a markedly authoritarian direction and that takes a number of forms — but one of those forms is an attack on academic freedom and higher education.”"
In related news, my friend Junkpaw sent me this:
https://bsky.app/profile/rtodkelly....../3m2phyphgns2c
-Really makes me wonder just who this "Founder of antifa" is or was?
These people are all just SO fucking stupid. It would just be hilarious if it wasn't so scary. The Trump cult actually believes this shit.

The Consolidation Of Pro Zionist Media In The US
Posted a month agoCBS news will now supposedly be headed by Bari Weiss, a rabid pro Zionist and anti Palestinian.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/.....-b2838771.html

With the impending transfer of TikTok to American hands, the little problem of a strong pro Palestinian voice, that pro Zionists have long complained about there will be squashed, just as it has been in other US social media.
CBS is owned By Larry Ellison, -who is the largest civilian donor to the IOF- and his son David, and likely TikTok will be at least partially owned and controlled by them as well. Ellison is also set to buy CNN.
Update of 10/6: It's official. CBS has purchased Weiss's "Free Press" and appointed her news director. She said that she intends to make CBS news "The most trusted news source in the US and around the world".

Trump's 20 Point Plan For "Peace" Between Gaza And Israel
Posted a month agohttps://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c70155nked7o
The first thing that strikes me about this is that it's yet another case of colonialist/imperialist US and Israel trying to determine the destiny of Palestine, something they've never had the right to do. This is a really old story. "The white man's burden". No Palestinians were consulted in drawing up this plan.
Trump, in his typical self absorbed fashion, imagines that he can earn a Nobel Peace Prize. That's obviously why he's pushing to complete this deal. I'll say with confidence that this won't happen no matter the outcome.
I'll also say that almost every one of these points are EXTREMELY vague.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that the whole thing will collapse when Netanyahu, driven by the far right members of his cabinet, blow this up, blaming Hamas, as they always have. I've had my hopes raised by promises of cease fires before.
Hamas has accepted the basic framework of this, but are insisting on the clarification and changing of some of the points.
A few points that particularly stick out to me here are Trump and Tony Blair Forming the basis of a "Board of Peace" to temporarily govern Gaza. This is a major red flag. Let us not forget that Blair was partly responsible for around a million deaths of Iraqis during our war on Iraq under Bush in '93. No doubt Hamas has not forgotten this.
Witkoff and Kushner being involved in the redevelopment of Gaza is another major red flag.
There is no mention of the West Bank in this supposed "Peace Plan".
Hamas is going to need some sort of enforceable guarantee of a complete withdrawal and ceasing of hostilities from Israel before they release the rest of the hostages. They're not stupid. Israel has never agreed or intended to cease all hostilities before.
Hamas would be required to lay down their arms, something they're guaranteed a right to have and use under international law as an occupied state.
Hamas would be forbidden to participate in governing a future Palestinian state. They're unlikely to accede to this.
To expect the Palestinians to give up all tights to govern themselves in their historical homeland is simply laughably unrealistic.

Update of 10/11:
I find myself nauseated by the breathless coverage of this by the corporate media, and even NPR, for the most part. This is HARDLY a done deal, and the lionizing of Trump is plainly offensive and ridiculous. All of this lionization of Trump ignores the even more critical increasing pressure for justice and equality for the people of Palestine around the world. Israel and the US find themselves increasingly isolated and pariah states.
There's ultimate support and care for the Israeli Hostages, and absolutely nothing for the Palestinians.
For one thing, they keep referring to a hostage/prisoner exchange, when really it's a hostage exchange. all 1700 of the hostages from Gaza that Israel has offered to exchange were kidnapped from Gaza since October Seventh, and after this exchange Israel will still be holding more of these people as well as every one of the 9000 Palestinian hostages they held prior to then. What of them? Many or most of these people, who are men and women, teens and adults, are being held indefinitely, without charge or access to their families, medical care, or lawyers, and starved, beaten, tortured, and abused, often sexually.
And Israel still holds the bodies of some 700+ dead Palestinians. What of them? Israel has also forbidden celebrations of the Palestinian hostages released in the West Bank.

Trump And Hegseth Attempt To Cement Fascism In The US
Posted a month agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln-.....fF9M&t=12s
Hegseth recently Called some 800 generals, admirals, and other high ranking military officers together from around the world to Quantico in a completely unprecedented move.
He and Trump then proceeded to lecture these extremely sober headed, experienced, and qualified military officials. It was a remarkable scene to see someone who reached major in the Coast Guard lecturing 4 star generals.
To say that they were unimpressed is an understatement. It was embarassing. I have to wonder what all of this cost at a time when the Reps are supposedly trying to cut back on "Waste, fraud, and abuse".
Hegseth went on about "Men in dresses" women, and fat people in the military being a bad look, including some of the generals in the audience.
Let us not forget that Hegseth is a Christian Zionist and Christian nationalist uniquely unqualified for his position as "Secretary of War", and that Trump is a Draft dodger who used bone spurs as an excuse not to serve in the military and called vets "Suckers". These extremely unqualified people then proceeded to ramble on about all kinds of nonsense.
He also advocated hazing, and the elimination of complaints.
Trump reiterated the idea of creating a "Rapid response Force" being created to respond to protests in the US, and advocated training them in the streets of US cities.
Do I need to remind anyone that the cities targeted will have Democratic mayors, largely black, or that this would be in contravention of the Posse Commitatus act?
Trump blathered on, in what had shades of being a typical campaign speech, and often veered into incomprehensibility, at one point bemoaning his inability to use the n-word. Dude is truly losing it. See for yourself.
In related news, Trump recently filed a brief and extremely fascistic memorandum meant to target the "Enemies within" that he's been referring to.
This is more than chilling. It refers to practically anyone I know:

Political Song

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBIbUXVfZdw&t=
https://antiracist.org/dead-pioneer.....s-and-protest/
This is Is Not A Political Song
These are just words
Demoralizing Muslims
Keeping marriage from someone
Because they don′t fit your hetero-normative lifestyle
The mutually exclusive statements of Choices and Life
Religious zealots judging you with eyes and ears
That told you not to judge on Sunday
Black Lives Matter
Land rights
Equal rights
Marriage rights
Voting rights
Gay rights
Trans rights
Black rights
Latino rights
Indigenous rights
Workers rights
Labor rights
Immigrant rights
No one's illegal on stolen land
By the way, this is not a political song
It′s possible that everything we believe is wrong
We politicize black and brown bodies
Women
Reproduction
Babies in cages
Self identifying humans
That are told they aren't human because they don't fit
Whatever
From where I sit, there is a clear discussion about these lands
The only people here are colonizers, immigrants
Stolen people and Indigenous people
And there are hostiles on our homelands
By the way, this is not a political song
It′s possible that everything we believe is wrong
In order to make it, you must be mean and cruel
Compassion doesn′t make it in this world
Dismissiveness
Divisiveness
Red MAGA hats in a sea of red
That just want to believe what they want to believe
And they believe they want to punch you in your stupid face
How dare you want anything from a country that you owe everything to!
How dare you have an opinion that counters any one else!
Democracy is only what I think it should be, and not what it is right?
Fascism is fun! and
Hate crimes are fashionable!
He who has the most money is the most pious
The made up doctrine of prosperity
If you have a lot of money, then you are favored by God
Especially if you're in the so-called United States of America
By the way, this is not a political song
It′s possible that everything we believe is wrong
As we all clamor to survive in on our respective streets
It becomes easy to hate one another because they're in your way
Or you don′t like their disposition
That even those that want to burn everything down
Must have some hope tho, right?
An anarchist love affair
Right wing assault rifle infidelity
Death and taxes
Gadsden Flag used to stand for
Constitutionalism and limited government
Now it stands for supporting the abuse of constitutional rights
And limitations of government under fascist militias
And now it's just stupid
And exhausting
Tiki torch whites are asking you to pick a side
Because everything is black and white
And grey areas be damned!
Heaven forbid we share space
And resources and ideas
That would be communistic in nature
And I hear that is against nature
Three cheers for the train wreck that is late stage capitalism
It′s ok if everything dies, just as long as it dies under my boot
By the way, this is not a political song
It's possible that everything we believe is wrong
We are in the land of spirit eaters
Remember when John Trudell said that?
Protect your spirit
Because you're in the space where spirits get eaten

Trump Bans All Palestinians From Coming To The US
Posted a month agohttps://www.npr.org/sections/goats-.....uctive-surgery
Thanks to Laura Loomer, a far right ideologue and internet pest, who openly declares herself to be "A proud antimuslim", and who seems to have his ear, quite possibly because she can stomach giving him BJs, Trump has banned all Palestiians from entering the US.
This was evidenced recently by his denying visas to the Palestinians who planned to attend the UNGA meeting, in violation of the original rules of the UN, and by denying admittance to the US to Palestinian children in need of medical care.
He recently said that they could get that same care in Canada, Australia, the UK, France, or Spain, all countries which recently recognized the rights of Palestine as a state. (As much of a hypocritical copout as that may have been)
Read or listen to this article and just try to tell me that this kid could have gotten this same care anywhere other than here.

Rest In Power Assata Shakur
Posted a month ago"It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.”
Freedom fighter and ex US political prisoner Assata Shakur died at 78 last Friday in Cuba.
She joined the Black Panthers in 1970 when they weren't taking new members because of her nursing skills. She joined the Black Liberation Army 1n 1971.
She was imprisoned for shooting a Highway Patrol cop during an incident where she was shot twice, once in the back. She always maintained her innocence. She certainly never had a fair trial and could never get one in the US. She escaped to Cuba in 1979, where she was given political asylum.
In 1998, Democracy Now! aired her reading an open letter to Pope John Paul II during his trip to Cuba. She wrote the message after New Jersey state troopers sent the pope a letter asking him to call for her extradition:
https://www.democracynow.org/2025/9....._assata_shakur
ASSATA SHAKUR:
"My name is Assata Shakur and I was born and raised in the United States. I am a descendant of Africans who were kidnapped and brought to the Americas as slaves. I spent my early childhood in the racist segregated South. I later moved to the northern part of the country, where I realized that Black people were equally victimized by racism and oppression.
I grew up and became a political activist, participating in student struggles, the anti-war movement, and, most of all, in the movement for the liberation of African Americans in the United States. I later joined the Black Panther Party, an organization that was targeted by the COINTELPRO program, a program that was set up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to eliminate all political opposition to the U.S. government’s policies, to destroy the Black Liberation Movement in the United States, to discredit activists and to eliminate potential leaders.
Under the COINTELPRO program, many political activists were harassed, imprisoned, murdered or otherwise neutralized. As a result of being targeted by COINTELPRO, I, like many other young people, was faced with the threat of prison, underground, exile or death. The FBI, with the help of local police agencies, systematically fed false accusations and fake news articles to the press accusing me and other activists of crimes we did not commit. Although in my case the charges were eventually dropped or I was eventually acquitted, the national and local police agencies created a situation where, based on their false accusations against me, any police officer could shoot me on sight. It was not until the Freedom of Information Act was passed in the mid-'70s that we began to see the scope of the United States government's persecution of political activists.
At this point, I think that it is important to make one thing very clear. I have advocated and I still advocate revolutionary changes in the structure and in the principles that govern the United States. I advocate self-determination for my people and for all oppressed people inside the United States. I advocate an end to capitalist exploitation, the abolition of racist policies, the eradication of sexism, and the elimination of political repression. If that is a crime, then I am totally guilty.
To make a long story short, I was captured in New Jersey in 1973, after being shot with both arms held in the air, and then shot again from the back. I was left on the ground to die and when I did not, I was taken to a local hospital where I was threatened, beaten and tortured. In 1977 I was convicted in a trial that can only be described as a legal lynching.
In 1979 I was able to escape with the aid of some of my fellow comrades. I saw this as a necessary step, not only because I was innocent of the charges against me, but because I knew that in the racist legal system in the United States I would receive no justice. I was also afraid that I would be murdered in prison. I later arrived in Cuba where I am currently living in exile as a political refugee.
The New Jersey State Police and other law enforcement officials say they want to see me brought to “justice.” But I would like to know what they mean by “justice.” Is torture justice? I was kept in solitary confinement for more than two years, mostly in men’s prisons. Is that justice? My lawyers were threatened with imprisonment and imprisoned. Is that justice? I was tried by an all-white jury, without even the pretext of impartiality, and then sentenced to life in prison plus 33 years. Is that justice?
Let me emphasize that justice for me is not the issue I am addressing here; it is justice for my people that is at stake. When my people receive justice, I am sure that I will receive it, too. …
I ask nothing for myself. I only ask you to examine the social reality of the United States and to speak out against the human rights violations that are taking place.
On this day, the birthday of Martin Luther King, I am reminded of all those who gave their lives for freedom. Most of the people who live on this planet are still not free. I ask only that you continue to work and pray to end oppression and political repression. It is my heartfelt belief that all the people on this earth deserve justice: social justice, political justice, and economic justice. I believe it is the only way we will ever achieve peace and prosperity on this earth. I hope that you enjoy your visit to Cuba. This is not a country that is rich in material wealth, but it is a country that is rich in human wealth, spiritual wealth and moral wealth.
Respectfully yours,

I salute her revolutionary legacy and spirit.

The Machine
Posted a month agoJohn McCutcheon - The Machine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=491.....gZOuA&t=4s
This song was written by John McCutcheon in reaction to Charlottesville, and somehow seems more appropriate today than ever...
McCutcheon wrote:
"I lived in Charlottesville, VA for twenty years, raised my children there. Inspired by the events of August 12, 2017."
He sat there on his front porch
Beneath a clear, blue sky
In his 92nd year
As the crowd went roaring by
The signs, the chants, the shouts, the rants
The flag he knew too well
He slowly shook his head and said,
“Goddam them all to hell!”
I was on the beach that morning
Where half my company died
The history books now say
It was the day that turned the tide
Back home our families all pitched in
Saved tires and tin foil, too
We realized that evil
Had a name that we all knew
Woody Guthrie had this guitar
With the best sign I have seen
“This machine kills fascists”
We must be the machine
Now 70 years later
Here they are again
None of them was even born
But I was present when
We liberated Birkenau
I still see every face
I didn’t fight the Nazis
To allow them in this place
Woody Guthrie had this guitar
With the best sign I have seen
“This machine kills fascists”
We must be the machine
No, I don’t believe that wars start
With the bullet or the bomb
It begins in homes and hearts
With the innocent and young
No one is born to hatred
They must be fed the lie
And we’re left with the carnage
And these bastards marching by
I no longer wield the weapons
That I did in my youth
What I have to offer now
Is memory and truth
No one can sit idly
After what we’ve seen today
Either stand up and be counted
Or get the hell out of the way
Woody Guthrie had this guitar
With the best sign I have seen
“This machine kills fascists”
We must be the machine

Yet More On Alligator Auschwitz
Posted a month agoFirst, another little annoyance in everyday life: Have you seen Youtube lately?
They've recently made it so that before you get to the comments you have to scroll through a bunch of full page versions of your recommended videos.
What fresh hell is this?
https://www.democracynow.org/2025/9.....gator_alcatraz
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP:
"I think Florida has done a great job by building it. And whether it’s Alligator Alcatraz or anything else you want to call it, it’s an amazing facility for what it is. It’s not a hotel. It’s not supposed to be a hotel. But they’ve done a great job with it."
Earlier this month, a federal appeals court ruled the jail could continue to operate despite reports of abuse.
Nonetheless, they've been moving the inmates out, and the fact is that, as of late August, about two-thirds of the 1,800 immigrants who were held there in July have gone missing from ICE’s online database, with their families and attorneys unable to locate them.
This is an effect of Alligator Auschwitz being a product of the state of Florida, and not ICE. People are not receiving due process, but instead breing tortured and abused out of sight of anyone, and summarily deported, because it's essentially a black box, and driven by the cruel and fascist whims of DeSantis. people are truly being disappeared.
My Journals on the subject can be found here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11175407/
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11178725/
All of this is also related to Trump's complete elimination of the internationally recognized right to Asylumn:
https://www.democracynow.org/2025/9/25/lee_gelernt
-This is what Trump's unprecedented policy of deporting people to countries that they've never been to is all about.

Jimmy Kimmel Is Back
Posted a month agoAs of tonight his show will return, though not on Nexstar or Sinclair, the far right media conglomerates and tools of the fascists, of course.
The voice of the people still matters in the face of mafia style threats by Brendan Carr of the FCCwho wrote the section in Procect 2025 about their proposal to eliminate media opposition, and was then put in charge of the FCC by Trump.
Great work, people! But our job is clearly not yet done.
Keep up the struggle in opposition to the voices against the first amendment and fascism!
Brendan Carr wrote the section of Project 2025 on their proposals to eliminate opposition in the media.

*Update of 9/26:
Sinclair and nexstar have now restored Kimmel to their broadcasts.
About 1.7 million people quit their Disney+ subscriptions in the wake of Jimmy Kimmel's ban there.

Code of Conduct: 2.7 Do not identify with or promote real hate, terrorist organizations, mass murderers, serial killers and their ideologies.
A hate group is one that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of a designated sector of society (e.g. Nazism, ISIS, KKK) that are reflected in the real world. You have done this by posting about Charlie Kirk, even negatively.

I find myself completely mystified. I can't imagine how anything said in that journal could possibly qualify as "identifying with or promoting real hate, terrorist organizations, mass murderers, serial killers and their ideologies."
I understand what a touchy subject this is at the current moment, but ??!!
It'd be nice if they gave me even the slightest insight into their reasoning on this decision. I'm forced to wonder if some right winger complained about my journal and they just did this to placate them?

While I understand how and why people loved him so much, he was in fact objectively a vile, reactionary, and hateful bigot. I find all of this glorification of him appalling.

The Danger Of The IHRA Definition Of Antisemitism
Posted a month agohttps://www.thisamericanlife.org/86.....disorientation See the last segment, The Art of the Deal..
The IHRA is the International Holoucaust Remembrance Alliance.
The basic definition is
"Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities"
No problem there.
The problems start with 11 examples that are usually included with it, several of which equate criticism of the state of israel or Zionism with antisemitism. Zionism or the state of Israel =/= Judaism.
• Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical
ideology or an extremist view of religion.
• Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about
Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not
exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the
media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
• Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing
committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-
Jews.
• Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the
genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its
supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).
• Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the
Holocaust.
• Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of
Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
• Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the
existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.
• Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of
any other democratic nation.
• Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of
Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.
• Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
• Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.
Many governmental and non governmental institutions have adopted this wholesale, despite one of the original authors having come out and saying that those examples were not intended to be used in such a way.
The Trump adminitration has been attempting to force this on universities and other institutions.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating Antifa, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.”
He added: “I will also be strongly recommending that those funding Antifa be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices.”
Trump tried to do this in 2020, but was not successsful. You can't declare an ideology as a terrorist organization.
He's seizing on the moment of Charlie Kirk's assassination to take another swing at it.
“Antifa is a kind of politics, not a specific group,” US-based historian Mark Bray, author of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, said. “In the same way that there are feminist groups but feminism is not, itself, a group.
“Any group that calls itself antifa and promotes the basic principles of militant antifascism is an antifa group. There is no general headquarters or leader to get official recognition from.”
-By the way, that's a great book, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who really wishes to understand the history and truth about antifa.
Anyone who considers themselves to be antifascist and antiracist is antifa. This includes most of my friends and I. Antifa is not an organiuzation, but an ideology.

It's Genocide
Posted 2 months agohttps://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8641wv0n4go
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/.....-global-action
The UN has finally called the slaughter in Gaza a genocide.
That's been obvious for more than a little while now, but okay.
What does Israel have to say about this?
Israel has adamantly rejected genocide allegations against it as an antisemitic “blood libel,” and its Foreign Ministry issued an angry response Tuesday that it “categorically rejects this distorted and false report.”
“Three individuals serving as Hamas proxies, notorious for their openly antisemitic positions — and whose horrific statements about Jews have been condemned worldwide — released today another fake ‘report’ about Gaza.”
Only it's not "Fake". It's proven to be the truth.
These are the genocide conventions being violated that prove that this is a genocide:
-Killing members of the group through attacks on protected objects; targeting civilians and other protected persons; and the deliberate infliction of conditions causing deaths
-Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group through direct attacks on civilians and protected objects; severe mistreatment of detainees; forced displacement; and environmental destruction
-inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of the group in whole or in part through destruction of structures and land essential to Palestinians; destruction and denial of access to medical services; forced displacement; blocking essential aid, water, electricity and fuel from reaching Palestinians; reproductive violence; and specific conditions impacting children
-Imposing measures intended to prevent births through the December 2023 attack on Gaza's largest fertility clinic, reportedly destroying around 4,000 embryos and 1,000 sperm samples and unfertilised eggs

AAAAAARGH!
Posted 2 months agoMy issue:
-I want to file a ticket on someone.
- I click on the "Support" tab.
-The part where you file a ticket runs off the bottom of the page.
-I'm apparently unable to file a ticket.
Am I just stupid somehow, or does anybody have any ideas?

I'll note here that the concert that this was recorded at was NOT a done as a tribute to 9/11. It was previuouly scheduled, and was later released in it's entirety. Unfortunately this is the only version of this that I was able to find online. So I would suggest trying to ignore the obviously sentimental visuals and simply concentrating on the music and the extremely moving performance in its own context, which I think makes it all the more powerful.
I can't immediately think of another song I've ever heard that gained such a complete recontextualization depending on when and where it was performed.

Posted 2 months agoBrown people in America are now being forced to “Carry their papers”.
Brown people are being kidnapped off the streets by anonymous masked thugs .
Golly, where might I have I heard these sorts of things before?
