I apologize for not uploading anything for the past couple days, been sick with a cold which leaves me a bit tired and achy ^^; My sister and my mom have it worse though (my sister has a really bad cough), and my mom was admitted to the hospital tonight for observation <=( Apparently, there's a bad cold/flu going around and it seems lots of people are catching it =( Hopefully everything will be alright, and that this cold/flu is nothing more than that <=( So, thought I'd let everyone know what's up

Not that I upload much anyways, but still, better to keep you all informed than not at all, right? ^^; Anywho, art from me will be slower than usual, because I'll be babysitting my younger cousins every day, which means I'll be there more than I am at home ^^; Basically, I'm there from 3:45 pm 'til 8:40 am (unless there's a holiday or early dismissal) - meaning, I'll only have free time to draw Saturdays and Sundays (if I can manage it) ^^; Weird schedule, I know ^^;

*Edit* A tiny update - from now until the 7th of March is when I'll have time to draw stuff, but after that, I'll have to start babysitting again, Monday to Friday; for how long, I don't know, though my guess is until school's out for the summer (can't count on it though) ^^; Not sure if I'll be spending the nights there like I was (since I was hardly home), but something tells me I'll have to ^^; I'll edit this again once I know more ^^;

I was browsing as usual (and watching a stream) when all of a sudden, this tablet just displays a blue screen =( This tablet was bought in March of this year as a birthday present for my mom from my auntie (since we have no desktop anymore) and for it to blue screen and give a "unexpected_kernel_mode_trap" error really worries me =( I have no idea what to do but back up file (which I have already done), and I really don't want it to have anymore blue screens =( If we end up losing this tablet (heaven forbid *knocks on wood*), I don't know what we'll do =(

Haven't made a journal in a while, I really do apologize ^^; Like the title of this says, we don't have a computer yet (we're still wanting to get one), but my mom did get an Acer Aspire Switch tablet for her birthday - Which means, I can do a little bit of drawing now, but it'll all be mouse drawn in Paint (unless I can get used to drawing with a pen-stylus on this screen), so don't expect masterpieces or traditional media stuff, since I can't scan anything ^^; I'll draw what I can when I can, but until I can have a normal, proper drawing system set up again, please be patient with me ^^;

Need to dust of my journals a bit ^^; Anywho, just wanted to let you all know that the hard drive for our computer crashed a couple weeks ago, so I can't draw (digitally anyways) or upload any art for a while ='( To fix it, it would cost us $210 (and risk having something else fail, since the computer is 8 years old), or we could get a newer refurbished computer for $378 - either way, we can't afford it right now, so it may be a while before you see any art from me (might be a month a more, though luckily I backed up everything) =( In case you're wondering, I'm using a cellphone to say this (you can only do so much on a cellphone, which I've been using as of late) =/ I'm not sure when we'll get a computer again, but until we do, I want to say that I'll miss you all and want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Out of boredom I decided to just sketch something, and ended up doodling this cute red panda, and ended up thinking of making it another character of mine :3 Now the issue I'm having, is that I instantly came up with a name and prop idea for her, and after doing a quick search (to make sure I wasn't copying anyone's idea), found that there's already a character with the same name and prop being used =/ I obviously wouldn't use the same color scheme as said character (because that'd be stealing), so my question is, can 2 different characters share the same name and prop, or would it be better for me to just give my new character a different name and prop idea even though my idea would suit my character so well? =/ I don't want to accidentally "copy cat" anyone's idea, so any help/suggestions would be appreciated ^^;

*Edit* Hallelujah, I recovered all the contacts I lost! ^^ Turns out that once I found I could sign in using my Hotmail address, all my contacts were there ^^; *whew!* I can relax now x'D

After restarting my computer, I went to log onto Skype and got a pop-up saying there's a new update (which happens occasionally) - but after it updated, I noticed the log-in was different (it made me use my Skype log in, instead of my Hotmail one) and that all my contacts are gone (except my boyfriend's main account, which I'm thankful is still there, but I had to re-add his other ones) T_T Has this happened to anyone else that uses Skype, or did it just happen to me? T_T From now on, I'm saving a back-up of my contacts should Skype do this to me again T_T

Yep, I turn the big 2-9 today ^^; Not doing much today really, except what I normally do, which is either draw or browse the web xD Nothing too exciting ^^; (short journal is short)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

This is an odd way to start my first journal, huh? ^^; Well, my parents and I took the computer into the shop last Thursday, as it was making a strange whirring noise, and yesterday we found out the power supply fan just needed cleaning ._. They said it ran silently and was running fine afterwards, but once we brought it home (and let it warm up for a few minutes before plugging everything in again), it still makes noise; sounds just like it did when we first took it in >_> Called them back, and they said that it sounds like the fan in the power supply is failing and that it will eventually need replacing, but that it should run fine for the time being, and that it's only making noise for now (though you'd think they'd notice that the first time >_>) ._. My boyfriend even said it sounds like it could be a bad/loose fan somewhere, so next time we go back to town we're taking it back in to get it fixed this time, instead of it getting cleaned, if it'll last that long *knocks on wood and prays it's only the power supply fan acting up* ^^;
