So, for Chrismahannakwanzaramakrishnayulestice, I got myself a new tablet, replacing my semi-new Nexus 7 for a Note 10.1. To my astonishment, it came pre-loaded with PS Touch! I may actually start arting again, both with my photography and wallpapers.

I am actually disappointed, I would have thought I would get a ton of off-the-wall anonymous questions asked. But no, not a single one. At this point I don't even know why I bothered to do it in the first place. . . Maybe I felt the need to set myself up for disappointment, or none of you actually give a crap about reading my journals.

So for me, I had a great time at the con.

I was a security volunteer, and I hope a few times I didn't come off as an A-hole, I mearely suggested something be done, but if it didn't happen I let it slide. The biggest part of the trip for me tho, was Sunday (which everyone seems to be focused on)

Sunday morning was the marksmanship event. We left at about 10am to make the 30 minuted drive out there. My dumb ass forgot to wait for  Imperiallion (Again, I'm sorry i forgot to wait for yall Leo).

When we got to the area the gun range was at, we couldn't cross a bridge to get there because it was flooded, and I wasn't about to try to cross fast moving water in my Jeep. So we went over to the little park area near the range and pulled out weapons out for others to look at. At this point a group of people decided they were going to head back to camp.

After about an hour out at the little camp, the rest of us packed up and headed back to camp too, but when we got there, the vehicle that left before us hadn't made it back yet, we figured they just went into wilburton to get food.

About an hour later the park ranger showed up and said the vehicle that left first was lost, and asked if anyone at the con had a 4x4 and tow rope to get their vehicle out of the mud they got stuck in. Seeing as i had my jeep, and i was security, I would go.  Pollypuma and  CJager went with me as well.

We didn't drive far when the ranger pulled off the highway, and here we went up a narrow, oil field road. We in the jeep were thinking there was no possible way the missing van could make it up this road at all, but this was the way the rangers GPS coordinates said the vehicle was. we drove around these road for nearly an hour, turning around several times, going back the way we came and turning down another trail looking for them. Finally we stopped at a spot the ranger called 'The Snow Fields' and we checked my GPS to see where the coord's put them. My GPS put them about 1/2mi away from the gun range!

At this point, the ranger said the gun range was out of his jurisdiction, but he said he would make a call, his office gave him the OK to follow me out to the range. 30ish minutes later we arrived, the creek next to the range was low enough to cross, and we pulled up to another oil field road, this one had a gate across it. The missing group of people could hear the rangers horn and sirens, so they were close, but the ranger didn't have a key to the gate, so his office called the oil company, and they dispatched a truck to us. Another 30 minutes roll by, and the roughneck shows up along with a Latimer county sheriff. At this point, we look to the west and there is a wall cloud heading right at us, the wind is picking up and the clouds have visible rotation.

The roughneck didn't have a key to the fucking gate! The sheriff yelled at us to seek shelter. The 3 of us jumped in my jeep, and I say "fuck this, lets find the side trail to get to them." We drove back around the gun range, but every side trail had a gate! after the third trail, we got a call from our people, saying the sheriff had them, so we turned around and headed back to the highway. We find the ranger and sheriff, and they head out in front of us at breakneck speed, I'm trying to keep up at the speed limit and not doing very well.

We make it to Quinton, and their tornado sirens are going off, but we don't stop to find shelter, and keep going, we get to the other side of town and I just go, we turn on my amber rotary lights and make best speed to camp. We get to camp, and find out that we were just in barely in front of a tornado that was on the ground. I am still in disbelief about that, but we made it to camp. we get another phone call now, and our people are in Wilburton at the sheriff's office, so polly and I jump back in my jeep to go get them, but now OUR access road has 2ft of rushing water over it, and is getting deeper as we watch.

At this point there really isn't anything we can do but wait. In the morning the creek was back down below the top of the bridge, myself and 2 other cars go and collect the 5 people from Wilburton, we pack up, and head home.

There was more that happened in there, the majority of stuff that happened at camp I was not there to see, as I was driving in the storm heading back from this adventure, but you can read it in one of  sangderenard journals. There was also some drama that I refuse to put in that happened during.

Anyhow, this was my experience, and others are sure to post theirs.

A while ago i created a background.

This background is gray scale, with the same amount of bars as a rainbow pride flag. I got the idea from a T-Shirt Hell T-Shirt.

Apparently, its either really awesome, or stupid, depending on the person who views it.

It also seems to be very controversial.

1) The furry fandom is a heavily LBGT community.

2) It seems to be OK for the LBGT community to have their pride flag, where-as its not OK to have pride in being hetero.

Forgive me, but I'm equal opportunity, and for total equal rights for everyone, no matter what your gender or preference.

Having any "issues" with heteros having pride in being such, creates a double standard. And isn't that what we are trying to get rid of with total equal rights? Those who bitch and whine about it can go jump off a fucking cliff. Why is it OK for the LBGT to have their pride, but not me? Seriously?

Just my thoughts about all the troll BS my straight pride banner has seemed to bring up.

I wan to sell it for $250, but its not just the guitar in the package.

the last couple weeks have been hard on a non-fur friend of mine. seems that her husband and roommates are transferring all of their inadequacies and lies onto her.

This all started when her roommate told her husband she was cheating on him. that was after she told her roommate that they couldn't potty train their baby at 7mo of age. my friend knows, because she has 3 children of her own of various ages.

and shit just got worse from there.

so, now there is substantial evidence that her husband is the one cheating. copies of emails from various women he has been talking too, ads he has replied to for hook ups on craigslist.

and here i am, stuck in the middle, and its not the first time its happened to me, but i know how to handle it this time.

really, i'm just waiting for him to say *I* am sleeping with his wife, so i can put him in his fucking place. if he really is trying to save their marriage, he needs to wake the fuck up, stop picking up women off the internet, and act like an adult who has a child.

just goes to show that drama is everywhere, and not just in the fur community.

so, i got a new tablet today to help me better myself at drawing, since i already have a slew of adobe products. just need to practice a bit with it and install it on my laptop so i can use it on my trip to new mexico in a couple weeks.

Earlier this week, i was rolling down the drivers side front window in my car, and when it hit the bottom it made a horrible noise. it rolled back up when i got to my destination, but when i was leaving again, it wouldn't roll down! fiddling with it got it to slide down into the door, but it continued doing the same thing.

sooo, i took it to the shop, the window regulator is, 350 dollars! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! I can't just leave it broken, because sooner or later it will quit working altogether. guess I need to dip into my savings, as I'm going to get it fixed anyhow

So, i have been back from Gulfport MS. for a week, and in that week a huge drama bomb got dropped between a couple of my friends. I consider myself a "No Drama Zone", I hate drama, anything that puts ripples in the pond, and they didn't just put ripples, but tidal waves and they are washing over me.

The people in question tho, are non-furs, but are fur curious at least. But the problem is between them and their room mates. I did not witness any of the things one side is saying the other side did. but basically 3 are saying 1 is cheating on her husband, which she isn't. all this seemed to start when the 1 told her room mates that they cant potty train their cub until it learns to walk, and i believe her since she has 3 cubs of her own. but making up a story that she is cheating on her mate because of this?? really?

so, in my typical fashion, I am not going to their house until they resolve this petty BS. sry, but I am a drama free zone.

I am so burnt out on gulfport Miss its not funny. Been here 3 times in less than a year. This place has lost its appeal. Its too hot, and too humid, and the upper management (our leadership) Thinks its still ok to put us in our full chem suits. ITS FUCKING 90F and 90% HUMIDITY! YOU ARE GOING TO FUCKING KILL US!

Finally, i have internet access! I am so freaking exhausted, the heat just leeches the energy right out of you. But, now that i have internet access, I can start updating my zombie disposal blog. Just need to keep focused during my evenings with storyline. Most likely post another journal when i update the site.

I found a new Jeep!!! *Does happy dance* Its a 4 door, power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise, privacy glass. Ill post pictures soon!

I have what I thought to be a small hole developing in the floor board of my jeep. turns out it is a great big gaping hole, and will cost a significant amount of money to repair. This is not good. I have therefore begun looking for a new Jeep, and I have found a few in my area that have what I need in a vehicle. 4 wheel drive, AC, Seats, Doors, Steering Wheel, No major defects, No minor defects, Not brand new, 4 tires, Typical car.

Go tomorrow to look at the one I really like. I just pray to the gods I can afford it.

So I just got back from Wild Nights 2010, and it was my very first furcon! I have to say, it was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I met so many awesome people: Polly Puma, S I L V E R, tailone aka Crys the Hybrid, skylor forscythe , Calamity Couger, Heros the Noisy Panter, Ilari, Travis, Laura, Lemming, Tobias, Ratchet, Daet, Khemet, wolfie howler, Tzup, Dale Fox and many more whom I cant remember yalls name at the moment, so if i didn't mention you, please know that you are still awesome!

I have one request for everyone who was there and took pictures: Send them my way!!! I only took pictures of the opening ceremony, and I know I'm in some of yalls pictures and i would like copies!
