Been a bit since last update but here we go:

works been hell, I ended up getting a 2nd job about a month ago and going to be looking to go fulltime with it since my previous job is jerking me around with hours.

I have however gotten my motorcycle my aunt got me back from the shop and been tinkering with it to fix some broken gauges but I finally have my own wheels.

Art wise if you've been watching I dropped a bunch of stuff from my vault of works I've done as commissions/gifts/forgot to post

on that note, I'm finishing up the last one of the current batch I have and maybe after a bit of a break from EVERYTHING, I might open back up. juggling all this stuff has burnt me out badly.

So, this was something I found last night. Seems people just can't be bothered learning to do stuff on their own and flat out traced over my animations to create their own video content on YT. I've already filed reports about the channel cause it wasn't only me they did this to but numerous other muscle artist as well.

On finding this out I made a choice that's going to change how I do commissions only slightly. As it stands I've put my signature on the works I've done but going forward, especially with my redo of my mirror YCH, I will be putting a transparent watermark to hopefully deter thieves ( I know some people are going to be thinking why didn't I do this in the first place? I tried to have a bit of faith in people but that faith is running out if not already)

With this change I'm hoping I can at least get my works out before the thieves just rip the hard work I've done for their own gain.

First off, Happy New Year to everyone that its already occurred for, there are some things I want to address real quick in regards to commissions and other things.

First off, I have finished some of the YCH works from last time, and will be starting on the regular commission works when time permits.

Second: again with time I am going to be going through Driving school to finally deal with getting my license after years of not being able to really focus on it so that will be another chapter taken care of.

Third: I have finished reworking the FINAL redux of my mirror flex so that will be available for slots soon. Keep an eye out when I post it if you are interested. Current debating prices and settling on it being a full shaded piece at $55, anything extra such as wings and such will be subject to normal additional prices.

So bit of an update to things, Yes, I am still chugging away at commissions when I have time. My work has been stupidly keeping me busy with opening shifts, paperwork and other crap, so I have NOT forgotten anyone who's commissioned me.

Speaking of that, while I am working on these pieces I am also still open for people. I haven't closed anything, just, I dont have as much time as I'd like to work on them. So if waiting isn't an issue, dont be afraid to ask.

Now for the main part of this journal...I bought Armor Core 6 on the pc recently and I feel like I've wasted money cause it's giving me issues (issues other people have reported so I know it's not just me) and now it's lead to me getting at on the ps4 instead cause I want to actually PLAY the game and not have to deal with crashing issues. Other than that, it's a fun game, and while people complain about the difficulty spike, I enjoy it.

Alright, figured I'd make a new journal just to put info out there. Yes I am working on my commissions, i havent forgotten about them, but on the off chance people think they HAVE been, my work place essentially promoted me to head cashier with more duties so what little time and energy I DID have is now even more split and drained.

As it stands I will be working between all my current comms regardless of position in my list, priority was never a thing for me as my drive comes and goes to work on stuff.

While I know none of my commissioners have brought this up to me as i do try to communicate with them, this is more for those that might stop by my pages and wonder why I take so long on things vs random bouts of inspirations I might do or art dump.

It's been getting clearer that nearly ANY platform I try to expand through or advertise just isn't working anymore, while I'm still gonna work on stuff it's getting harder and harder to get new people to see my works cause one thing or another fucks it up. I'm honestly reaching that point where I'm not feeling burnt out, but I'm just constantly depressed cause of it. Anything I post just seems to be buried under a ton of other better things that I'm back to feeling I'm just not interesting enough for people, I honestly can't tell anymore.

Maybe I'm at the point in my life I should just say "screw art, might as well just focus on my damn day job cause THAT's the only thing keeping me afloat with anything anymore.

I REALLY hate having to ask something like this especially around this time of year; long story short my workplace is giving me barely enough hours to pay for my rent, let alone my utilities and other essentials. If anyone is wanting to commission something from me that would help me out greatly right now since I'm going to be talking to my boss today about getting even ONE more day added to me schedule to help remedy this issue.

Been a bit since I've had to do one of these kind of journals but, I guess I need to bring it up. Recently I posted commission works I got from  erixdmanb of my corgi girl Taytay. We both found out within the past month that those works, as well as others of his were being used on youtube channels without EITHER of our consent to do so. Needless to say we both went through the process of dealing with those channels and managed to have the videos/channels removed. (turned out some of them were on their final strikes for the same stuff)

If there's one thing that absolutely pisses me off to no end, it's that people I don't know from anywhere use my commissioned work or my OC's for their own gain without asking for consent to do so.

For more context; I enjoy it when someone comes up saying "Hey! I liked (X) so I drew them and wanted to show you." that gives me the happiness to keep working on them, what I DONT enjoy is someone thinking "Oh hey, I'll take this piece, make (X) with it and give NO credit and claim the character is my own." That just makes me both depressed and angry for multiple reasons.

What I want to convey here is, if you see works being used from any artist you follow, let them know. In my case, I'm not big like other artists by any means, and to me, it feels like any chance I have of getting bigger and reaching out to new people to help grow both as an artist and creator; is stolen from me cause people will think THAT person did the work and not me or the person I commissioned for it.

This might be a rant but to bring back those channels mentioned earlier, after one was taken down they came BACK thinking they could dodge the same problem by making their own picture but didn't change ANYTHING about it, i.e used the same character, background, ect and reuploaded on a new channel (this has since been dealt with as well cause again, they did it with out any consent from me.)

TL;DR dont think that "asking for forgiveness is easier than permission" is applicable to artists. Everyone works hard and deserves the proper respect for their efforts.

Part of this is due to my hectic work schedule, but as it stands my current prices start at $10 and go up 10 each step. Im going to have to up this in the event something happens and Im unable to work normally and commissions become my only source of income.

For this, im going to be changing to this format

- Sketches to $30
- Inks to $40
- Flat color $50
- Shaded $60

- Extra characters (up to 2) are half of the step EACH.

- Backgrounds will be an extra $10 and depend of complexity will adjust accordingly.

Specials like my YCHs are not changing.

With this in mind, this isn't a first come first serve. How I'm wanting to do this is similar to others and give everyone a fair chance by submitting their ideas.

So this is mainly just a little update, Works been a bitch; been having people get hired and fired within about 2-3 weeks and screwing me over on my personal time, got dental appointments to keep up on my resolution to fix my mouth for the better, aaaaand Destiny 2 is updating with Witch Queen in less than 4 days. This first quarter of the year has and will be a hectic one for me so I'll be working on stuff as I can find time for. There are still promises I intend to keep so if I said I'll do something, i WILL do them, it'll just take more time than I thought.

In other news, been watching a Vtuber called BuffPup, surprised? not really, and one of my fan art things got showed on her stream today X3 made me happy they actually showed it and seemed the chat went wild. I'll try posting it here when I'm able to but she loved it cause she said it made her look like she's from Baki, that wasn't the INTENDED reason for it but hey! i'm not complaining they liked it.

UPDATE: so since tomorrow as of this update is Destiny 2's update with Witch Queen, I'm planning on doing either a Picarto Stream or Twitch stream since I DO have a Twitch but never use it. I might keep both separate for games on twitch vs art on Picarto, idk yet. How it does tomorrow might decide it.

Alright, its been a bit and so far life is settling down abut more where I might be able to reopen for coms. Though I'm not 100% at the moment since I feel I should update prices and maybe offer newer things. I've messed around with a couple of ideas and feel they'd be nice additions to what I offer, but one thing that is certain, I will NOT be taking more than 2-3 animation ych requests. Thise led to massive burnout, and i know some people warned me about that; im a stubborn ass, im sorry.

But once I have a more solid idea for prices I'll see about officially opening back up.

So, im finalizing details on the last animations, to that end I've more or less decided to stop doing commissions for a while, this decision does NOT mean that if you've already talked to me that I wont do them. Im just going to be taking a hiatus till my mental mind is better. More and more it seems like anything I plan or want to do, fails just cause its my name on the project.

I've had multiple ideas planted to see if they take root and so far very little has been done and all just seems to fall to the wayside or just plain forgotten. So, to that end, I'm not gone...just, not here right now.

Alright so this is more for those that are actually keeping up with what I do. I decided a while ago to redo one of my first couple animations, more specifically my Flex N Grow one. needless to say, it's a BIG hunk of meat to chew on, as of this journal I've reworked, updated, expanded (both figuratively and literally) and overhauled a good 75 - 85% of the animation.

Right now shading is a bitch with my work schedule but I'm making a LOT more progress than it seems. Currently as it sits I have 7 more frames for the body to shade and then I need to work on the right arm frames, so it total that's about 29 more frames to go before I can properly put together the YCH that I have waiting to go for this one.

As far as to WHY I decided to redo this one, it's simple...I needed to streamline the process, as it sat I would have to edit and adjust over 84+ frames with the original, this version, I've learned a few tricks, and ways to make it easier and more efficient to work on. Worse case with new setup is say a OC has a tattoo, I only need to adjust 17 - 22 frames vs a full 84.

the only things I haven't taken into account as of yet would be extras like tails, wings, ect but those I can work with as they come along.

So I'm about *Alucard voice* 99.9% moved in, i'm more or less couch sleeping while the other people are dragging their feet to move out. Till then I wont properly be able to do art stuff till i'm fully done and set up in my room. Which time frame wise might be by next week after the 1st. Mainly cause I need to get a new top for my desk I have, the glass panes broke and I have nothing to sit my computer stuff on. Gonna need to get some plywood to replace those tops.

So this is a heads up for everyone that knows me, I am in the process of moving back into my old place. Turns out the managers of the place realized just how shitty the tenants that took over my room were and decided to let my roommates move me back in. Wont be finalized till the 1st of Feb. But because of this requring me to pack stuff up as well as my work giving me NO days off, I wont be able to focus on commissions or art as much since I'll just want to relax between things. Once i'm moved it again I'll be in full swing to continue working on them.
