Posted 6 years agoOkay, I know it's been a while. But life has kept me busy for a long while. Still goin' to be kept busy, however I'm down to workin' just 4 days at my job, with a small pay increase to help with havin' lost a few hours of work.
But that's not the reason I'm openin' commissions up.
You see, there's been a bit of a change in the household, and due to legal reasons, I cannot discuss what it's about, except that we've lost a source of income.
My room mate and I are doin' the best that we can, tryin' to keep positive to keep us goin' until March when our lease is up and we can get a different place to live.
Money will be mainly goin' towards RENT, FOOD, BILLS.

New Job
Posted 7 years agoSo after things kind of fell through with the temp agency, I went with another temp agency and while waitin' to go on a tour at a job site that was supposed to be on Tuesday (this past Tuesday to be exact), I got a call from a security company about an entry level job. Went in Friday, found out that it got cancelled (the gentleman got into a car wreck, he's perfectly fine though, his car.. Not so much.)
Went back on the followin' Monday after I was given a manual to read over and test myself. Ended up gettin' hired (albeit the procedure was a little backwards) got my license from the Police Commissions office. Orientation was on Tuesday and I started Wednesday.
I now work as a Security Officer for Unilever and I really enjoy this job. My day shift (0800-1600) partner is happy to have me workin' with him. And he has said that I've caught on pretty fast (this is my first security job).
My lawyer is helpin' me with the.. Issue I stated in my previous journal (A ticket to pay) and he's goin' to do everythin' that he can in his power to handle this, and it's not a situation that he's come across before. So.. Fun times with that.
On another note:
I will still continue to be open for my icon commissions (which can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8837713/ ) and that journal is pinned as my main journal, so don't be alarmed if you don't see this journal on my front page.

A ticket to pay
Posted 7 years agoSo, I have a ticket that I need to pay (matters will not be discussed, but I have to go to court for it and it's about $70. Even though I have a new job (it's through a temp agency, but it's still a job regardless), I have been throwin' each paycheck at my family to somehow help pay for bills and some food, so I don't exactly have money to pay for my ticket.
Which is why I have some of these up. Some of them used to be $3, but I bumped it up to $5 instead.

Update.. Thingie.. Again
Posted 8 years agoSo... Last time I did an update was back in what.. March? *Double checks* Yeah, back in March.
So, with that aside..
Things are goin' great in the new place. We're settled in comfortably.
Hours at work have picked up due to only one fact: Since my bf and I work at Target, we got word that they were doin' away with a major part of the Flow Team: Grocery.
What we found out when we were told, is that we're goin' to be havin' a Grocery Team instead. We were told that they'd take a list of names some days later. Hex suggested that I put my name in. I thought about it, and he was thinkin' about it.
Several days later, they started takin' names, and even though it was suggested that I end up not tryin' to get on the team, I went and put my name down anyway. What harm came in tryin', right?
A week or so passes by, and Hex tells our TL that he's been lookin' for another job, one with hours, and our TL comes out and tells him to stay at TSC. They wait for everyone to leave. Our TL tells him somethin' that required people to be out of the room for.
Turns out, he was picked for grocery team, and not only was he picked, so was I.
New schedule has us down for 40hrs. Don't know what the schedule after that will have us down for, but this is certainly a look in the right direction.
Two coworkers went over to Hex's old position at Target, Plan-O, and the one girl, was unsure of who was goin' to break-out her area (HBA/Cosmetics) so I approached her and said that I could do it for her, and I even told our TL that I'll do it for the week.
Hex also got put down to come in at 4 for the rest of the week to take her partner's spot on the line... But... Monday he over-did it and went to pick up two small boxes and ended up throwin' his back out... And, even though I know it wasn't my fault, I feel bad that he threw his back out because I had suggested that he could probably come in at 4 as well, instead of droppin' me off and goin' back home only to have to turn right back around to come back to work, or sit out in the car for an hour... ;~;
So, with that aside..

Holy.. Time for an UPDATE

For those of you who have been watching my boyfriend's page,
, then you already know the issues going on with the current company.
For those that do not know: we're being evicted. Have until the end of the month.
Now, here's the fun BS: company is trying to screw us over. They broke the Missouri Tenancy Law. We -NEVER- got a written notice, nor a notice tacked onto our door, saying we were being evicted. Instead, Hex is woken up from a nap by a call from our old leading company.
Oh, did I mention that they're trying to give us the run-around now? They're saying that they -gave- us a certified notice. Last we checked, a phone call -does not- constitute as a verifiable notice. They also gave us a paper that has -nothing- signed. Our parter, his husband, has gone over the paper several times, and basically the paper is for -US- to notify -THEM- of our move-out date, not the other way around.
NOw, for the GOOD NEWS: we have FOUND a place, and we have the keys. We expect to start moving the bulk items (furniture) hopefully by Thursday.
Everyone that has helped us so far, we greatly appreciate it.
Now, I have something that I have been holding onto for the last... 4-ish years(??):
It's my Warhammer 40K Tau Army. I need to sell it. I haven't played it at all in the last several years. I haven't kept up with the new rules and guidelines, nor the 'new' codex for the Tau army.
I've posted my army up in the ads(?)/marketplace(???) section of FB, but so far, no offers have been made.
Per Hex's suggestion, I have come here: I -need- to sell this army. I'm asking for $500, or BO. The army is primed, some pieces (not many) are painted, but the buyer can just re-prime. My fire warriors do have grass on their stands, and their bases are color marked, but they themselves are not painted (pictures at the bottom).

Journal Update
Posted 9 years agoTch, last journal I did was back in February, and that was for a job with the post office, which didn't pan out because I never heard back from them...
Lots of stuff has happened since then...
Was goin' out with a guy and a girl (big surprise to those that didn't know), then some time later, I was approached by someone close to me, we had a chat, things didn't pan out, but then I went on my week and a half vacation from Taco Bell (we're only allowed a week's vacation, but I had put in my request MONTHs in advance, so they were covered), and I got to see my family again after not seein' them for an entire year... God I missed them so fuckin' much...
For notes: Every one of my cousin's that are older than me, that I met when I was a kid, I call Aunt and Uncle out of respect due to age difference. My only actual uncle is my mom's brother.
I went to NYC the next day after my flight arrived with
and his cousin and a coworker of his. Had fun. Got a few things for some friends back home in MO.
Sunday after that, I went to my aunt's house. I walked into the house while mom and her guy were outside with my uncle. Seein' as how mom and I sound pretty much alike, my aunt thought it was her, until she looked over the counter (she was in the kitchen) and saw me. Saw my cousin, their daughter, gave hugs and kisses to her before she dashed out to go to a pool party with some of her friends.
Few days go by, and it's already July 9th: Family BBQ. Shove pool toys into back passenger seat of step-dad's truck, load up the bed with the cooler full of drinks for the party, make a stop to get gas and ice, I climb into the bed of the truck while mom and dad break ice into smaller pieces (We drop the bags onto the ground to break it up), pour ice into cooler, jump out of truck and get into back passenger seat to the job of openin' up all the pool toys while on the drive out to Pittstown, NJ. Ended up with my equilibrium bein' thrown off some how (I honestly think it was because of him drivin' since I'm used to drivin' with my mom, coworkers, or his husband)
Get to the house. I actually surprised my family by showin' up at the BBQ (my mom's fiancee was also introduced to the family) and my aunt ended up lettin' out a scream in his ear, that she apologized for it. It was just a shock to see me because NOBODY in my family (except my mom and her fiancee knew that I was comin', and I had posted on FB that I was at the airport, and the only cousin that knew that I arrived, didn't say anythin'. Whoo for family that doesn't exactly check their FB! XD )
After we got there and I gave several of my cousin's hugs, I went to find just one person: My Great Aunt. I found her in the garage, sittin' on a lawn chair with some other family members. I had to hold back tears as I went to her and gave her the tightest hug that I could, without hurtin' her. My vacation was a birthday present to both of us: So we could see each other again. (Cryin' now. ;~;)
Soon enough, July 11th rolled around and it was time for me to return home to Missouri with Hex and his family. After I had gotten back, I ended up confrontin' the person that confronted me, albeit, I did my confrontation via text message as I have a hard time with face-to-face moments like that.. We're givin' it another chance.
I applied to Target where Hex works, and I was able to get it. Good. I did attempt to hold Taco Bell AND Target together, but after my first week of trainin', I wanted a day off from TB, so I followed suit, and tried to find someone to take my shift. My GM gets a hold of me via text, and he and I get into a little tiff, then Hex takes my phone and pretends to be me as he was able to think of the words faster than me. End of the story: I quit my job at Taco Bell and now all my time is spent at Target, nearly the same shift as him. Though since I work flow team (those in the retail business know what flow team is, and the other term for it), my end time does vary. My Team Lead, which I had asked after my first day, said he would like it if I stayed until truck is done (which can be anywhere between 9:45 and 12:30, dependin' on the size of the truck).
I'm happier at Target. For all the stuff that I did at Taco Bell (comin' in on my days off, goin' to other stores, comin' in early, workin' 15 days STRAIGHT and pullin' 15 hour work days on some occasions, $8/hr wasn't cuttin' it at all). I make $3 more than what I did at TB. I get home, and if I don't take a nap, I have the rest of the day to do what I want, instead of havin' to get ready to go to another job.
Enter last Thursday... I'm at work, sittin' in the car with Hex and I'm on FB and I see a post from my cousin... My Great Aunt passed away. I'm holdin' myself together, I send my mom a screen shot of it, but then a few minutes later, I call her. No answer. I call her again while I'm gettin' out of the car, Hex thinks that I'm gettin' ready to walk into the buildin', but then he hears me snifflin' and begins to ask what was wrong. Mom then answers the phone (mind you, it's almost 6am for me, and almost 7 for her) and I tell her that she passed, and I started cryin' while talkin' to her and Hex got out and gave me a hug. It's been a week now since she passed, and as I've told my cousins and my mom, I'm glad I took my vacation when I did because I got to see her before she went. (Cryin' again)
96 years young. Now she's with her husband and my cousin's mom and dad, and my grandparents and they're havin' a friggin' party up there.
But yeah... That's my update to bump off that months' old journal..

I walked into the house while mom and her guy were outside with my uncle. Seein' as how mom and I sound pretty much alike, my aunt thought it was her, until she looked over the counter (she was in the kitchen) and saw me. Saw my cousin, their daughter, gave hugs and kisses to her before she dashed out to go to a pool party with some of her friends.
Few days go by, and it's already July 9th: Family BBQ. Shove pool toys into back passenger seat of step-dad's truck, load up the bed with the cooler full of drinks for the party, make a stop to get gas and ice, I climb into the bed of the truck while mom and dad break ice into smaller pieces (We drop the bags onto the ground to break it up), pour ice into cooler, jump out of truck and get into back passenger seat to the job of openin' up all the pool toys while on the drive out to Pittstown, NJ. Ended up with my equilibrium bein' thrown off some how (I honestly think it was because of him drivin' since I'm used to drivin' with my mom, coworkers,
or his husband)Get to the house. I actually surprised my family by showin' up at the BBQ (my mom's fiancee was also introduced to the family) and my aunt ended up lettin' out a scream in his ear, that she apologized for it. It was just a shock to see me because NOBODY in my family (except my mom and her fiancee knew that I was comin', and I had posted on FB that I was at the airport, and the only cousin that knew that I arrived, didn't say anythin'. Whoo for family that doesn't exactly check their FB! XD )
After we got there and I gave several of my cousin's hugs, I went to find just one person: My Great Aunt. I found her in the garage, sittin' on a lawn chair with some other family members. I had to hold back tears as I went to her and gave her the tightest hug that I could, without hurtin' her. My vacation was a birthday present to both of us: So we could see each other again. (Cryin' now. ;~;)
Soon enough, July 11th rolled around and it was time for me to return home to Missouri with Hex and his family. After I had gotten back, I ended up confrontin' the person that confronted me, albeit, I did my confrontation via text message as I have a hard time with face-to-face moments like that.. We're givin' it another chance.
I applied to Target where Hex works, and I was able to get it. Good. I did attempt to hold Taco Bell AND Target together, but after my first week of trainin', I wanted a day off from TB, so I followed suit, and tried to find someone to take my shift. My GM gets a hold of me via text, and he and I get into a little tiff, then Hex takes my phone and pretends to be me as he was able to think of the words faster than me. End of the story: I quit my job at Taco Bell and now all my time is spent at Target, nearly the same shift as him. Though since I work flow team (those in the retail business know what flow team is, and the other term for it), my end time does vary. My Team Lead, which I had asked after my first day, said he would like it if I stayed until truck is done (which can be anywhere between 9:45 and 12:30, dependin' on the size of the truck).
I'm happier at Target. For all the stuff that I did at Taco Bell (comin' in on my days off, goin' to other stores, comin' in early, workin' 15 days STRAIGHT and pullin' 15 hour work days on some occasions, $8/hr wasn't cuttin' it at all). I make $3 more than what I did at TB. I get home, and if I don't take a nap, I have the rest of the day to do what I want, instead of havin' to get ready to go to another job.
Enter last Thursday... I'm at work, sittin' in the car with Hex and I'm on FB and I see a post from my cousin... My Great Aunt passed away. I'm holdin' myself together, I send my mom a screen shot of it, but then a few minutes later, I call her. No answer. I call her again while I'm gettin' out of the car, Hex thinks that I'm gettin' ready to walk into the buildin', but then he hears me snifflin' and begins to ask what was wrong. Mom then answers the phone (mind you, it's almost 6am for me, and almost 7 for her) and I tell her that she passed, and I started cryin' while talkin' to her and Hex got out and gave me a hug. It's been a week now since she passed, and as I've told my cousins and my mom, I'm glad I took my vacation when I did because I got to see her before she went. (Cryin' again)
96 years young. Now she's with her husband and my cousin's mom and dad, and my grandparents and they're havin' a friggin' party up there.
But yeah... That's my update to bump off that months' old journal..

Posted 9 years agoAt my dental appointment right now. My mind is currently racing, not due to needing fillings because I've had them done before, but it's racing due to the test I will be taking come 2pm.
The test I have to take is for the PO. What has my mind racing and my heart going, is not the fact of taking it (I've taken it and worked at the Postal Distribution Center with my mom before), it's the fact that I don't know what the outcome will be because I don't have my mom around (she's still alive, just I moved to Missouri and am living with as most of you know) to help me get in. Only reason I got in back in Jersey is because she knows the higher ups.
Much nervous.

And Hex, if you see this journal, I already know you're going to tell me to relax, do the best that I can, and that I'll be fine.

Family and I are a bit behind on rent, and we just got a notice in the mail today. I have 200$ left over from my paycheck, and we're needin' roughly 400$ more to finish off payin' this months rent.
I know that will be openin' up for emergency commissions tonight, so from now until roughly 4:30C today, I'll be doin' some Panty Shots at 5$ a piece to help out a bit more with what I currently have from my paycheck. Every little bit counts, after all.
I know I only have a few done, but comment with what you would like on it, be it a gamin' logo or a game's title and I'll have it out for ya!

Been sick for a week now. Thought it was a head cold (which it started out at first), then went to the ER Saturday evenin' 'cause I just couldn't keep any liquids down from 7am to about 4:45pm (every 2 hours I kept goin' into the bathroom and just huggin' the toilet ;_; )
Turned out that I ended up gettin' the stomach flu to top off my head cold. Got taken care of.
Now I'm just dealin' with a leaky nose and an annoyin' cough due to a tickle in the throat. ><
Also, anyone that is watchin' me that is also watchin' :cyiakanami:, he is still sick as well. Hopefully he'll get better real soon. This house needs more sass in it! Head on over to his journal and give him well wishes for a speedy recovery!

Soooo... Went to the roller rink with and his daughter Wednesday night. Was havin' fun. Was my first time at a roller rink. HATE the skates they have. They're heavy and the breaks on the front are a nuisance. Aaaaaanyway... I get halfway around, and I end up losin' balance and came crashin' down hard. Slammed into the floor so hard that I broke out in a sweat and I started seein' stars.
Thought I had only bruised my arm, so we went home, Hex was also in some pain, so we ended up cuttin' it short anyway. Got home, figured I'd take some aspirin and put an ice pack on it. Next day (yesterday) still sore. Struggled at work as best as I could, got home, did a few things that I needed to take care of on the computer, figured a hot shower might help, then laid down. Nope, didn't help. Hex comes up, asks if I want to go to the ER. Told him no, he left, then after a bit, and thinkin' it over, changed my mind because it'd be best to find out exactly what the damage I did was.
Had an x-ray done, staff (who was very kind) asked what happened, told them I lost balance and landed hard on my left side... And that I believe I dropped my weight onto my left arm.. Which resulted in a small hairline fracture. Was given a Rx for some pain pills, and a sling for my arm.
Paid what we could at the office, so goin' to be billed later for the rest of the payment. (60$ is what I'll be billed for)

Hairline fracture in left arm, slinged up.

Posted 10 years agoMade it home to Missouri with and his family. It was a long trip, but it was worth it. I start work on Tuesday, so I'm happy. Got my computer set up and finally finished goin' through all of my messages (granted I could've done it from my phone, but that would've taken forever and a half XD )
Anyway, off to continue relaxin' and eattin' dinner. Just thought I'd drop an update. :D
and his family. It was a long trip, but it was worth it. I start work on Tuesday, so I'm happy. Big changes are in store for me. Some of you may or may not know, from
's journal: He and I are no longer together. We separated on good terms and we're stayin' friends. It's NOBODY'S business as to why we separated. So don't bother askin' he or I on what our reasons were. Respect that and all will be fine.
As the watchers that watch both of us know, and close friends know, he'll be movin' over to Wyoming. As for me?
I'm not stayin' in New Jersey. Within two (2) weeks' time, I'll be movin' out to Missouri to live my life with my two partners, and 
.
Nervous? Excited? Yes, yes I am to both. It's a big move that I'm doin'. I'll be roughly a little over 1K miles from my mom and my family. But.. As she has said, and as others have said to everyone else "You do what you gotta do."
And.. Well.. I'm nearly 28 years old. I'm overdue for a fresh in almost a lot of things in life.
I've a lot of cleanin' to do, and packin' to do as well. I can only bring a small amount of things with me, but that's perfectly fine.
So yeah.. That's a big update that's happenin' in my life.
