has a 233$ phone bill that he has to pay off by the 19th of this month and on top of that, he has to make at least 150$ extra to pay my mom rent and he's been tryin' to get commissions, but he's not havin' any luck at the moment.
I'm tryin' to help him keep his head up after he lost his job. We both are awaitin' a call from BJ's as they said they'll set up a 2nd interview with both of us and the bakery manager was in on our first interview (we both got in through Human Resources since my ex works at BJ's) and she said she'll take my application into consideration.. But I'm reallyin' hopin' that Kogy gets this job, else he has to move out.

I did get a commission for a necklace/choker piece that I'm still workin' on. Only reason it's takin' me longer is because 1) it's a chainmaille type; 2) I had to sketch out how it's goin' to look; 3) I've also been on a backlog of pictures to ink/color in for my husband so I'm doin' everythin' pretty much at once.
I did create some necklaces previously that are for sale (though there are 2 that I will not be sellin').

In desperate need
Posted 13 years agoMy mate, was laid off from his job on monday. He already jumped and put in applications to most everywhere that's in walking distance, or can catch a ride to, or catch the bus.
He's open for commissions, as am I.
I feel like he's on borrowed time because as soon as he pays my mom 150$, he has until the next two weeks to get a new job or else he may be kicked out and have to live with someone else.
These are his commission prices:
Single/2 characters: 10$

Reason is this: My mom, Kogy and I need a new washin' machine. Me mom called the Worry Free guys and it turns out that the bearin' is pretty much shot to hell... And it turns out that W.F. DOESN'T cover that.. And it would cost us 700$ just to fix ONE piece. :\
We're tryin' to get a hold of a family friend, but he hasn't gotten back to us yet. And if he can't fix it, then my mom plans to toss out the washer and dryer and not buy a new one.. Meanin' we'd be usin' the laundromat to do our laundry..
Kogy and I plan to buy a new washer for her instead so she doesn't have to worry about it.
So, down to business. Commissions that I will be takin' are: Custom/Awareness Ribbons (I've done them in the past before with lory-ixtar and I have her permission to use her ribbon templates and mod them for my own use); Stuffer commissions (Again, template permission was given to me as I use the cat, puppy and fox templates from her Awareness Ribbons template); and Yiff Cola pictures.

To those that use Melty Beads/Perler Beads
Posted 13 years agoFor their craftin' needs, I have quite a few that I'm sellin', plus the templates.

Colors are: Gray, Medium green, tan, white, blue, black, orange, light green, teal, purple, 2 bags of clear, light blue, neon orange, pink, neon yellow/green, and lavender.
Templates include: 8 Large square connecting templates, 2 small square templates, 2 hexagon templates, 2 circle templates, 2 star templates, 1 turtle template and 1 dolphin template.
The templates are 18$ in total (I will not sell them separately.)
And the beads themselves are 46$ in total. (Some of the beads I bought in a large jar at AC Moore and that was about 24$ and the others I bought in seperate packs at about 2.50$ each.
60$ in total to buy them all. (Price also includes price of a medium flat rate box at the post office)

Is anybody else in the states havin' that show up on their browser? It was perfectly fine earlier and then after I finish checkin' my mail and stuff here on FA, I noticed (not only the new banner which looks nice) but the fact that the HTTPS is red, STRUCK OUT with a red slash and the lock has an X. So... WTF?!
Edit: I just checked out IB and IB's site is secured.. But now that I browse around on FA, it's back to havin' a little world on the side... Seriously... WTF...
