Sorry for the Freeze on Submissions
Posted a month agoSorry guys for taking ages to return to the art world. I might've mentioned I do stuff here n there but never have anything actually being completed. I say that for all my traditional art at least. Even without my ADHD meds at the moment, I'm actually making headway with some old projects.
Right now I'm actually isolated in a rehab facility. 1/3 of my way done with its program. It's a place that's voluntary and can even leave whenever if I want to. I get 2 days a week where I can actually leave n do stuff.
With luck, I might be able to post a few drawings while I'm in here. I'll be out of the facility at the beginning of Dec, wish me luck!

Life Stability is Returning
Posted 7 months agoAlbeit slowly...
As of a month ago, I went through a rare brain surgery known as a Hemispherectomy. It isn't common, but when medication doesn't work there aren't many other options available other than straight out working on the brain itself. It was not easy nor quick. Had to spend an entire month with probes inside my head to test if I was capable of the procedure to begin with. I'm happy there hasn't been a seizure since. Naturally, there are some side effects, but they're manageable. The one frustrating one is losing language now and then. Not completely, but I can lose a word in a sentence while talking. I could be talking about building a new desk in my room but forget the word "desk" while talking to someone. Not the end of the world, especially when some patients have much tougher side effects. Oh, and I have a very fashionable scar now that takes up a large side of my head. Once my hair grows back then it'll be mostly covered.
Another big bit of news is that I moved into a new place. It's luckily not too far from where I used to live. This all happened while I was in the hospital, too. It's a tad smaller but I made due with what I had. Just a few days ago I built a whole new desk for my room.
I don't want to jinx it, but between having the surgery done and the big move across town, I've also picked up the old drawing habit again. For the moment, I've picked up an old sketch I had in the back burners for awhile. Bleiz is geared up (Not naked, surprising, I know) and ready for a fistfight in his military gear. You can see the work in progress here, in the scrapes --> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60510091/

A Long Overdue Update
Posted 2 years agoHey guys,
Sorry for the lack of content. I've been dealing with some issues lately but have finally reached a point where I can settle down and work on some art again. I'm still working on a long overdue commission (and I'm sincerely sorry about that to the commissioner).
One of my issues lately has been medical BS. I have a history of chronic uncontrolled grand mal seizures. Lately, they have increased in frequency and severity. I've ridden the ambulance 3 times in the past year and have several scars on my forehead to show for it. The triggers are unknown (if there are any) and I've tried several medications and none seem to help. It's gotten to the point that my doctor has told me it is unsafe for me to be in a work environment. Right now I'm reaching out to government agencies to help me financially because I am now considered disabled. I cannot work, drive, or operate anything beyond the air fryer in the kitchen. It's a long uphill battle but at the very least I can still draw.
On the flip side of things, I now have a queue for commissions. A poet wants me to draw some traditional pieces for his book and another person wants me to create a design for a sleeve tattoo. I'm quite honored to do work for both of them. First things first though, gotta finish my current commission, to which I'm happy to say is about 80% done. I have a few personal projects that I will be doing here n there once that's done as well.
If you've read up to here, thank you. I'll be around more often and will be posting more, including WIP's to show what's in the works.
Take care and wish you guys the best,
-Silver

Commissions Open and Traditional Art Sale
Posted 3 years agoHey guys!
It's been awhile and a lot has changed since last I posted a journal. I'll start out by saying I'm now open for commissions. If you're interested, my sales chart can be viewed right here ---> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49054173 and the ToS can be viewed here ---> https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7927846
Another thing to note, if you like my art then I got good news, a bunch of my original art is on sale as well! This means my watercolors and pastel drawings in my gallery are up for grabs. These aren't prints, these are the original pieces I drew/painted by hand that can be mailed to you. If you're interested in getting one then hop over here to see which ones are left ---> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49062413 I've already sold a few and it's first come first serve! I also want to mention that as of today, this piece here is now added to the list of originals you can buy ---> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29174807
Now that that is out of the way, one of the biggest bit of news from me personally is that I moved to a new city! One time zone over in fact. It's been a huge change for me and so far it's been great. I'm also now living with one of my best friends, which is awesome. Well, tbh, it was basically moving away from one best friend and in with another. A huge perk is that I now get to hangout with 2 dogs. Well, at least I'm certain 1 of the 2 is a dog, the second one might be part horse with how tall he gets. All in all, it feels like things are moving forward and it's been a very exciting change. Hope you all have a great day/week/month! Until next time, take care, everyone!

Merry Christmas, Guys!
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone! Merry Christmas! I hope you all have the opportunity to be with your families, or if not at least a good phone call to wish them well (I know I had to do that last year)
There won't be any posts this week since I traveled to see my family for the holidays. Things should resume after the 30th, though. Take care and be safe everyone!

New Goals
Posted 4 years agoHey guys, it's been awhile and I know I say that in almost every journal, oh well. I got 6 (and counting) projects on the go atm that are in varying degrees of completion and I can't wait to show them to you guys.
Someone said that you can do a lot in a year, and after reflecting on that I've realized that I need to step up my game. I've decided to set up a couple of goals for myself for the next year, starting today:
-1 post every 2 weeks
- Do an art stream once a week
I got a couple more but they're more personal. Anyways, I usually post every other month instead of every other week, so I know that this will be a bit of a challenge for me, don't be surprised if the post is a WIP now and then, but at the same time, at least I'll be more active. And speaking of, I plan on doing an art stream on Saturdays. Some circumstances might push it to Sundays or Fridays instead so we'll have to wait n see. I'll post a notice here to notify you guys when I'm streaming nonetheless (and no, that won't count as my 1 post every 2 weeks)
Until next time, take care, be well, and be safe everyone!

Sorry for My Absence
Posted 5 years agoSorry guys that I've been away for so long. Life wanted to throw a few wrenches into the works and uhh... here I am. To start with, depression has been less than cooperative with me since the new year. It's been hard to pick up the pencil or stylus and get anything substantially done. It's been only recently where I feel like I can focus again, if only by a little. On top of that, I've been dealing with some interpersonal issues. Things are fine now, but I'm still trying to find my footing again.
I still have a work queue and I aim to get them done. Sorry that it's taken so long to get to this point when things should have been done 6 months ago. Regardless, in the coming weeks and months, there shall be an increase in activity, this I promise.

Trying to be Better
Posted 5 years agoI haven't posted a journal in a while. Sorry about that.
To be blunt, I haven't been in the best of mindsets in recent times. Depression and anxiety are a bitch to deal with. It's why I haven't been posting as much let alone be as interactive. I'm sorry to those who try to talk to me and I hope that you can have the patience of me trying to reignite those conversations again. Above all, thanks for giving the small amount of your day to read this and know what's going on. I want to be better and I want to hear more from you guys one on one.

Schooling and Robberies
Posted 6 years agoHello everyone! Sorry I've been quiet as of late and not posting as much. A few things in life thought to say hello and stomp on my productivity a few times.
I'll start with some good-ish news. A few weeks ago I've started to upgrade at a college nearby. What that means is that I'm redoing some high school level courses. I aim to do a 2-year college program to be a technician for ultrasound/sonograms. The issue is, the prerequisites want marks for biology 11 + 12, Chemistry, and math that are no more than 5 years old, which I don't have. Naturally, this has been consuming some of my off time so my art has been placed on the backburner here and there.
Secondly, my place was robbed on the first of this month. For reasons unknown, our landlord requests cash rather than cheques so my roommates and I pool our money together at the end of every month to give for rent. Someone came into our home and took our entire rent's worth of money in addition to my roommate's consoles and my other roommate's cash in a drawer in their bedroom. There is a strong suspicion the robber came from the downstairs suite since there is a door connecting their suite to ours in a closet. It was supposedly locked on both sides but the evidence is saying otherwise. We are distraught and obviously stressed about this occurrence. The police were called but it does not look promising that the culprit will be caught or any of our belongings returned. We're urging the landlord to install new locks for our place. For the time being, there is little we can do about this theft other than being more vigilant. Suffice to say, it's been one hell of a month for me. Those who are in my art queue, I'm sorry, I'm trying my best to get these done for you. Things are less chaotic so I can resume a more dependable schedule to get them done soon

I'm still here
Posted 6 years agoSorry for the lack of posts or responses in general. Been rather anti-social as of late. To those who have commissions with me, please know I'm working on them on my off time. The posts I make that are traditional are produced while I'm away from my computer and usually during times during my meal breaks at work. past that, I do what I can on my off days to chip away at your guys' commissions. You are not forgotten and I apologize for being so slow at it
Happy 2019
Posted 7 years agoHappy New Year everyone. I know you're getting wishes from nearly every single person out there, and I'm no different. 2018 was quite the year with all the ups and downs. I've been able to post so much and improve with each piece. I'm amazed by the amount of you guys who followed me and every bit of support, whether it be a fav or comment, motivates me to keep going and try harder. Thank you all and let's hope that 2019 will be a good one.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Posted 7 years agoHeya guys, hope you all have/had a great Christmas! I don't have anything festive to post, but I wish you all the best. Hope you are able to chat with or even be with your friends out there and appreciate the time with them. You guys on here are awesome and it's always warming to hear from you. Your compliments and words of encouragement mean more than you think and I always love hearing/reading it. Thank you all for liking what I do and giving me the drive to continue on, you don't know how much it means to me, you guys are awesome and keep staying awesome
Emergency Xmas Commissions
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! Not sure if I'll get any bites but I'm gonna let you know that I got a couple slots open for commissions. Life tossed me a couple unexpected surprises and I need a few bucks to repair my wallet.
My current sale chart can be seen here --> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21753708/
Feel free to contact me via PM, telegram, or email if you're interested. You can also contact me to just say hi, too.

My Tablet is Here!
Posted 7 years agoAt long last, I've been able to get myself a proper tablet again! I can finally focus on my digital work and get those commissions out! My old tablet decided it wanted nothing to do with the drivers, ignore wired connections, only wire via wireless, and have a battery life of 5 minutes. But no more! My new one is here and it's working!
PANIC!!
Posted 7 years agoMY TABLET BROKE!!!!
Not really, but it isn't working. Not yet. The pen pressure isn't working and the driver is wonky. The wired connection doesn't recognize it as hardware. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. AHHHHHRRG. I reinstalled the driver several times, restarted my computer, reinstalled the software for everything. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! My commissions are at a halt and I can't do anything until I get it to work again! I might need to look into buying a new tablet. (I'm short on $$ so I need a few days until payday to do so)
I'm so sorry for those who are waiting on me to finish those commissions! I'll get this back n running VERY soon!

People actually like me!
Posted 7 years ago Wow, I actually have a work queue for commissions! Well, it's only two, but wow... It's weird to think about.
Thanks to those who commissioned me, I'm working on them as much as I can. My job has buried me in shifts and overtime. I'm sorry that I'm fumbling with this.
Here's a rough estimate of where these commissions are standing:
Zeric - 80%
Zementh - 5%
Lastly, I'm going to change my commission prices in the next couple days. My old price chart is over a year old and doesn't reflect the work that I do now. It shouldn't be too much of a change.
Thanks all, continue being the awesome people that you are

29
Posted 7 years agoSo as of yesterday, I am 29 years old. I sure as hell don't feel like it. I still feel like the 16-year-old from high school who's irresponsible and impulsive with little understanding of what adulting is really like. How the fuck did I survive this long? It points to me that I'm this old and still act and feel half of that age. I could go into an existential crisis mode about where I am in life. I'll cut it short and say that holy crap I made it this far and I'm drawing furry crap that people like enough to the point that they follow me! Careers be damned, at least I get people who like my passion of art and story! So yea, I got that going for me, which is nice
Just an Update
Posted 7 years agoBeen awhile since I've written anything here. You might have noticed that I've been putting up more drawings in the last few days. It isn't that I'm drawing more (I am always drawing) but that I'm finally submitting them. These all were finished (somewhat) weeks if not months ago and only now am I deciding to get them here. My perfectionism gets in the way of me placing the last few strokes to finish a drawing because I always fear that I will miss a detail or screw up the anatomy somehow.
I'm always excited to see you guys fav my stuff and more so when I get comments. Thank you for doing so and also to the new watchers. It's an awesome feeling to see that what I do and what I post here is worthy of your attention.
Since I finished my sketchbook, I'll be doing a few touch-ups in it and posting them here more frequently. Thanks all and see ya around!

What's with all the Sketches?!
Posted 8 years agoMan, looking at what I've been posting lately, I've been doing a lot of traditional drawings. I don't mean to, sorry! I've been working on a few drawing projects that may have been a bit... ambitious. I'm blessed with a job where I get to sketch a lot during my work time.
Not only that, but I've been working on re-learning 3D modelling again. Between learning from tutorials and exploring what I can do, it's been taking up a lot of time. While I have a diploma in 3D animation, its value is useless now that A) it's 7 years old and the programs have changed since then, and B) I'm learning a new program altogether. While there's stuff I'm excited to show, it's nowhere close to being presentable. I hope to buckle down and spend more time in photoshop. But. We'll see. If not, you guys will still get to check out the sketches I make, at least.

Unintentional Hiatus
Posted 8 years agoSorry guys. I've had a hard time keeping the stylus in my hands for awhile now. It's hard to tell if it's from lack of inspiration, motivation, or my work life. Maybe it's a combination of them all.
I've started to get more into a pattern, though. More time is spent drawing and things are looking closer and closer to completion. You can expect to see some submissions fairly soon.

Posted 9 years agoWell, sorta! Ha ha, I'm open for commissions now! We'll see what happens, right? Thanks everyone for watching n supporting me! It means a lot to have you guys fav n comment what I have. And I absolutely love having you guys drop by my art stream. It's always a fun time.
Commission Rules
Posted 9 years agoCommission Rules
Firstly, thanks for checking out my page and being interested in buying a commission! Please know that I specialize in drawing males with toned muscle. I can do other themes but drawing males is where I strive.
Please give me as much reference as possible for the characters (and environment if you paid for one). You can copy and forward this to me with it filled out (Not everything needs to be filled out):
Your Name:
Commission Type and Any Additional Costs:
Theme or Setting:
Fursona Name and Description:
Pose Description:
Facial Expressions:
Story Behind the Scene (if any):
Links/Attachments of picture references:
Miscellaneous:
Remember, more details the better! I love, want, and need details! I want your commission to be as accurate as possible for you.
Prices are in USD and paid via Paypal only. I cannot accept trades, gift arts, or DA points as payments, those do not help pay rent. Payment must be paid in full before I start on the commission.
No Refunds after the Sketch has been made
You will get frequent WIP previews of the commission to ensure you are happy with its progress. You may ask for alterations when you receive the WIP's but please do not ask for anything super drastic.
I will point out who the character(s) are, who is their owner(s), and the one who commissioned me in the description unless specifically asked not to.
I hold the right to refuse a commission if the subject matter makes me uncomfortable. What I will and will not draw is negotiable. Below is a list of some, but not all, things I am not comfortable with:
-Scat
-Heavy Gore
-Cubs
Feel free to contact me for any questions. I want you to be happy with your commission and make sure that what you want is what you get.
If multiple people end up paying for a commission from me then it will be a first come first serve policy and I will let anyone know where they are in the queue.

Getting busy
Posted 9 years agoWow. A lot's happened since the last journal! I'm now doing art streams and a couple of commissions! Hard to think that I've gotten to this point! I always love having you guys drop by my stream. It makes it that much enjoyable knowing I can hangout with ya and jam to some music. It's really exciting that I'm able to do this! So thank you guys for watching and liking what I do!
I recorded my last stream and decided to post it on youtube if ya wanna check it out. The piece isn't done, but I found it to be kinda cool to watch x3 You can jump to 3:13 on the vid to get to the part where the shading begins

Art Stream, would anyone be interested?
Posted 9 years agoHeya, sorry for the radioxide silence. I'm finally getting back in my groove of things. Especially now that my adhd is under control x3
I'll be doing some coloring later tonight and I'm confident enough that I might even stream it. Anyone out there interested in dropping by?
