Sorry I've been so quiet on here lately. I did manage to get a job, but I'm finding it very physically taxing. I love everything else about the job, it's fun, I work with great people, but it requires WAY too much constant standing. I just have way too many joint issues to do it without ending up in too much pain, and leaves me so exhausted. In the meantime I might have to ask if they can put me on part-time instead of full-time hours. That way I can give my body more of a rest between shifts and look for something else, a job that will let me sit.

I'm still looking for a job, so in the meantime, these seem to be getting pretty popular, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm just finishing up the sketch then I'll be posting it, so just a heads up.

Hey all, I'm sorry for being so sporadic over the last few months. Just been a lot going on in my life, especially since the beginning of august.

Very few of you have known what's been going on, but I think it's time I level with the rest of you.

Me and the mate have separated, and will eventually get divorced, we just have to wait till next year.

My life is beyond complicated due to circumstances I don't really want to explain right now. But this means that my artistic muse has been pretty lifeless, save for a few moments of stress-free sparks.

Once things start to settle down, I hope to start drawing more regularly, until then, things will continue on this sporadic burst pattern methinks.

I wish I could draw more regularly, but everything I've tried just seems to frustrate me more. So unless I feel that creative spark, I'm just gonna leave the pencil down, don't need to stress myself more than I already am.

I keep seeing all these Iron Artist things being posted, and I think I wanna jump on board, especially since I'm the sole producer of income for a house with 3 adults and 1 kid (lucky me) and I just can't keep up with the bills anymore.

If I was to do one, I'd probably just want to do (ideally female) single char pin-ups or MLP sketches since they seem to be the easiest things for me to draw. How interested would you guys be if I were to do this?

Hey all, sorry I havent been posting much lately. I've been dealing with a lot of stress and such in life, and its making drawing nothing but frustration. I'm hoping that things will get better soon and then I can start posting again.

The last few months have been my own little corner of hell, but I think, and hope beyond hope that the night is almost over and dawn is on it's way.

Letsee... since the beginning of October my hubby has lost his job, leaving us with only my paycheque, and from everything I've looked up, he cant apply for EI. He's hoping that he can find something soon, even if it's part-time, it's still better than nothing. I make an alright salary, but it's only enough to just scrape by, barely, and with Christmas coming, and the temperature dropping (we have electric heat) it's going to be a very very tight winter :S

I'm doing my best to stay positive and hopeful. While life has thrown us these curve balls before, something has always come through in the end, but even with that hope, we're still doing everything we can to find him something.

There has also been some crazy twists and loops in the emotional rollercoaster that life has thrown me on, sometimes I find myself longing for a more simple ride (like this one from my childhood, or at least it was similar) I'm hanging in there, but I do notice I feel more exhausted lately, and theres some depression trying to close in, I'm fighting it though. I could use a proper vacation...

Despite the above stress, I'm managing to slowly revitalize my muse, and will hopefully be getting more drawing done. There's some ideas swimming around in my head, mostly pony stuff. Wish me luck everyone, here's hoping that something positive happens soon.

As you've probably noticed, I've been a little quiet over the last while, I've been finding that I'm hitting a brick wall whenever I try to draw anything, so I think I need to take a brief break from art and start watching inspiring things (anime seems to be percolating that artistic spark in me, plus it has titties, so it's win/win)

While I'm trying to get things going, I plan on working on the art I owe to peoples, so don't worry if you're waiting on art from me, it's top on my priority list :D

I've been working where I work for 6 years now, 6 years of dealing with mostly the dregs of American society, and I think I'm just getting sick of it. I wish I could move to another, non-customer facing department, but to keep the schedule I have, which allows me to take care of my daughter (the hubby, MIL and I have schedules that work around one another, since we can't afford daycare) And everything we -used- to have to help us de-stress at work is gone. We have minimal net access (can only get around it with some https sites, or secure proxys) we can't stream music, we can't decorate our desks (we don't even have assigned seats anymore because they don't have enough desks for everyone to have their own).

I feel like there's no point in trying here, they don't bother to motivate us, so why the fuck bother anymore... I wish I was consistent enough to make a living off of my art, or at least enough to suppliment our income so I could looks for something new.

I've been a total Skyrim whore for the last few months, and now that DLC is finally being released I cant afford to get it D: I'm pretty sure I've done everything that there is to do (except for maybe a few small quests that I haven't found yet) I want new stufffffffff!

I've been trying to draw something new since posting that Chinchilla girl pic and have been failing miserably. It seems like right now the only thing that might break through this wall is PONIES x3 I managed to get a pic of some OC ponies going last night, and I want to do more.

I'm looking for some good drawing/pose references for ponies, and if you have a pony OC go ahead and post a link (please change the http in your links to https since I'm at work and http doesnt work here) and I'll see if I can doodle them ^^

In 1 week ill be... 27 *shudder* man I hate getting older... especially seeing how the world is less and less like I had hoped it'd be when I was little.


Anyone else feel like they're living in an important time in human cultural and religious development? I'm thrilled and scared at what the next few years to decade will hold...

I think I've managed to rein in a lot of the anger and hate that I've been feeing over the last little while. I'm still working on coaxing my muse to come out of hiding, and some doodles are helping with that, although I'd like someone.. different to draw. So while I can't make any guarantees, if you want to post a pic of one of your characters, a few of their quirks, and if you have an idea of what you'd like them doing, I'll try to give it a shot. Nothing too complex please, and I'll probably be drawing them chibi, deppending on how I feel ;3

On another note, I think I've narrowed down the reasons for my anger/hate issues, and it's my childhood... or lack-of rather. I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. My mother was pretty strict about me following the tennents of this cultish religion, which pretty much ostracized me from everyone around me as a child. This has left me with a pretty bitter view on my youth, and while I don't hate -religion- I hate the fanatics that usually get the public face, and the stupid close-minded hate they try to glorify. (honestly I wish all the hateful religious zelots would just DIAF, and yes, I know thats a little hypocrytical but hey, it's how I feel)

I did manage to pull myself away from the religion when I was 13, but it was too late to fix the damage it had caused, and the adversion to me my peers felt because I was -different-. If you're curious how this religion could possibly do this kind of damage. Try being an 5 year old, in a class where all the kids are raving about their christmas presents, with the stigma that "bad" children get coal, and wondering how horrible a child you are for not getting anything at all. Or not being allowed to take part in any class activity if it was about any kind of holiday, or having to leave the room and stand out in the hallway while the national anthem was sung. This is just a few of the things my peers, and the worst one yet, having your parents tell you you're not allowed to make friends because the other children aren't the same religion as you are. Heck, I wasn't even allowed to celebrate my own birthday...

So I guess it's understandable that I'm pretty bitter about my past and religion...

Lately, I find that I'm getting burnt out on all the negativity in the world. It's like it's seeping in through my pores and poisoning my very soul. It stifles if not suffocates any artistic spark I get and is making going through every day a trial. I try my best to avoid it, but more and more I find it tainting every thought, clouding every opinion, nothing is black or white anymore, but both... all the fucking time, I can't take it.

What's worse is it's affecting those I love the most, I seem to drag dark clouds with me wherever I go, bringing gloom.... I want it to all go away, but I have yet to find an outlet to lessen this building mass of toxic sludge inside of me before I'm consumed.

So on this I'm having difficulty with drawing the water that's coming out of the Shishi Odoshi (The Japanese deer-scare in the background) and trickling over her arm and chest, especially with cell shading.
