Update
Posted 4 years agoHey! As y’all can see I’m not dead, and have been drawing a lot. Most of these have been on Twitter for months so sorry about that. I don’t really use FA as much as I used to so it’s gone by the wayside. If you want more regular updates, I highly recommend you follow me there instead.
As for what I’m working on, I’ve got two full renders in the works, the background is completely done on one and nearly done on the other. I will do my best to make sure they get posted here on the same day as twitter, but we’ll see, I get distracted easily.

Posted 5 years agoIt's been a little while since I posted here, so I want to go ahead and give some updates since I can't imagine all of you follow me on twitter. I do have a few active projects I'm working on. First up, the last piece in my current queue, is a full-color digital render of "Wet and Wild," which is actually moving at a very nice pace. The background is finished and I'm maybe around 30% done with the figure. I'd say that puts me around 40% complete, but it's admittedly a sort of nebulous figure.
After that I have a graphite render that I'm going to try and finish within the next couple of days. It's very nearly done just have to make sure I don't get too eager and rush the end result.
Finally, I do have a bigger piece that's going to be a part of a collaborative effort, and as such I kinda can't really post WIPs about it and such for the time being. Please understand that I really really want to, but the timing isn't quite right. Yet.
Probably soon.
Keep your eyes out, I probably won't be silent for much longer.

Commissions are OPEN (+ Updates)
Posted 5 years agoHey! I'm back, open for commissions. 5 slots per usual, all commission types are available. Check my commission tab or my price sheet, which will be the featured submission as long as I'm open! The big changes, in case you hadn’t noticed, are that I’m opening for graphite renders commissions again, and the complicated backgrounds have been redefined as fully rendered backgrounds in addition to those that are fairly complicated. If you've got any questions, email me at sinksartworks@gmail.com, send me a message on Telegram at SeanHartist or hit me up in my Twitter DMs, at SinkArts
While I've got y'all here, Falco's coming along at a nice pace, posted a new WIP to Twitter. That's quickly becoming my most active platform, although I will still be dropping completed work here, and the occasional WIP. Hopefully Falco won't take too much longer, I'm well past halfway done. Thanks for the support, and I hope to see y'all again soon!

Commissions Closed - All Slots Taken!
Posted 5 years agoWow I think this is the first time that this has ever happened to me! All slots have been filled, so now I'm closing to get them all done. The first one is in the middle of the render, should be ready to post within the next few days; ideally by Monday. For the curious among you, they are mostly pen-and-ink commissions, but a couple are flat color commissions as well. So yeah! Thank you all for the support, and keep an eye out!

Updates
Posted 5 years agoOkay so I'm kind of arted out right now. Which is more to say that I don't have any specific projects I have an intent to move on right now. I think I need a little more time before I start another full render, so I'll likely be posting more flats and sketches in the near future than anything.
Which brings me to my next matter of business which is commissions. Not having anything in particular I want to work on, I might be re-opening for commissions soon, nd with that I've decided to remove full renders as an option for the time being. With the evolving discourse surrounding commission prices, and my own mixed feelings about my prices at those levels, I've decided it's better for my productivity to remove those options for now. They are often extremely time-intensive projects to undergo, averaging around 50-70 hours of work, and it's just kind of hard to justify working on them at their current price point. I'm still open for pen and ink renders like my Inktober pieces since they are much much smaller, but beyond that, it's just something I don't feel I have the time to justify outside of my own private practice. I hope y'all understand.
So yeah. Tl;dr, I am probably going to be going a little smaller scale for a bit. I am considering opening for commissions again, full renders are out because I don't feel comfortable pricing them according to how long they take to make. Thank y'all for your support and I hope you have a bitchin' day.

Dog....Thot?
Posted 5 years ago;ionaf'gd
Hey! I'm here. Twitter people already know this, but the finished version of Dog Thot will be live within the next few days. I need to touch some stuff up first, but yeah! I'm gunning for tomorrow, but we'll see. Keep an eye out, it's very soon, I promise.
After that, I've got a graphite render I intend to finish. That likely won't take long either, so expect some more activity here soon.

Early Morning Updates
Posted 5 years agoI'm still awake and I really shouldn't be but just to touch base. I saw I got some new watchers, I can't remember if I thanked y'all but thank you and I appreciate the support. Sinful Ink has been a fairly successful experiment and I'm gonna do my best to keep it up.
Announcement wise, I'm kinda running on empty. The sfw comm I was working on it done, and so I can get back to painting Wolfrun's juicy pucker. I'm going to work on that during my mid-week weekend, so expect those updates on Tues-Wed, god willing.
I have a new big sfw render in the works that will be going up on Sean Hart once it's done, but honestly, don't expect that for a while. I might see about making prints soon, maybe enter it into a show or something, it's been far too long.
Stay safe out there, I love y'all. See you soon.~

Open for Commissions!
Posted 5 years agoHey!! It's me. Sink. Y'know, ya boi.
So I'm opening for commission again. The plan was originally to work on some personal stuff for a bit, but stuff's gone down, and I should probably keep the possibility open.
If you've got commission inquiries, you can hit me up via the notes system here, my DMs on Twitter are open, and my Telegram account is listed. You can also email me at sinksartworks[at]gmail.com
Thank you, I love you, have a great day.

Oh.....100 watchers....
Posted 6 years agoHey y'alllllll
It's me! SINK!
I've hit 100 watchers! Like, a week ago! OOPS. Meant to say something then but I'm Big Busy in Little [Location Redacted]. I'm honestly really thrilled by the support, and it means a lot to me. Like a lot a lot. Very much. Magnum dong.
On that note, I initially had a raffle planned for the occasion, but I'm not quite so sure I can do it at the moment. I figure it's best to be up front with this kind of stuff (especially since I've mentioned the possibility of it in passing in comments before), so here's what's up.
Would I like to do the raffle? Yes, actually. I'm somewhat concerned that my prices are high commission-wise, but on the other hand I can't really lower them any more. A lot of my renders in particular end up in the 50+ hour range and when you work that out on an hourly basis, it's sort of a yikes moment for me. So the way I see it, a raffle is a good way to get art to a few folks who can't afford it, a good way to spread word of what I'm doing here, a good way to celebrate milestones on my account, and a good way to just keep me working and making content.
That said.
I have living expenses to keep in mind, expenses that are expanding, and free work is a large and kind of scary commitment because it's taking time away from work I could be getting paid for. For the time being, I'm going to say keep an eye out. If I can't do it for 100 watchers, I'll try for 150. The plan is, at the very least, to finish "Such a Tease" and by then I should have a good idea of what I'm working with. If I feel like I can financially swing it, I'll open the raffle. If not, I'll wait til 150 watchers and drop another journal regarding the subject.
With all that out of the way, I would like to say thank you again. I opened this as a side-account to cut loose some since a lot of my portfolio work is really time-intensive and sometimes just a fucking bummer. Now I'm doing the most regular commission work I've ever done. Well, maybe. All but 2 of my commissions for the last year were posted here, so that's something. I'll see y'all again soon, take care.
Love,
SInk

New....Year?

Hey guys!!! I'm here! In 2020! Wow.... Well I guess it's a good a time as any to look back on my first year as Sinful Ink!!!! I've kind of made a lot of progress over here. Almost 100 followers in a year! The power of porn....
I've also tried a bit more new stuff over here. I'm determined to learn better color theory, and I've done most of that over here. It's changing my practice for the better I think, and I've posted at least 2 of my favorite pieces of the year over here. Out of the 13 (ish, depending on how you count it) new pieces I created over the last year for this account, I'm happy with that.
Looking forward, I suppose "Such a Tease" and "Tuckered Out" will be my first posts of the new year. I'd expect "Tuckered Out" here first, since I'm faster with pencil, but "Such a Tease" shouldn't be too far behind it. I need to go ahead and plan out my next steps too, for that matter. For now, I'd say:
1) Figure out 100 Watcher milestone thing. I wanna do something, I just need to make time and draw up the details. I've been saying this for a minute now, but like, yeah. I just need to do it.
2) I've got a sfw commission lined up (yeah, I still draw not-porn, shockingly enough), and that will likely be done concurrently with the milestone thang. I tend to work on at least 2 things at once so that shouldn't be a big to-do, but it's a thing I'm gonna do.
3) I have another R34 drawing in mind, I just need to figure out if I want to do it digitally or traditionally. On one hand I should probably do it digitally for the practice, but on the other hand it might be worth doing traditionally so it'll come out more competently. I've got time, but it's something I need to figure out.

I Keep Fucking Making Things
Posted 6 years agoWhoops. I guess this is another update. I've got a new graphite drawing I'm working on alongside the commission to keep me from getting burnt out. I was gonna keep rendering Dog Thot, but working digital all the time kind of drives me crazy, so I'm drawing Sean with he ass out. A friend and I were talking about somnophilia and I thought it would make for a hot prompt. I'm drawing it right now.
Commission is going well, posted the first WIP on twitter, if you're curious. I'm vibing on it now, as it comes along I like it more and more. Commissions are slotting into my life a little better than I anticipated if I'm being honest. I'm hitting my stride right now.
I'm hoping to finish the year strong on this account, I'm pretty close to 100 watchers, and making it to the other side of that milestone would be pretty cool. I'm workin on it though, gotta give folks something to watch for. I should be able to finish this commission and this personal piece by the end of the month, so I think I'll make it to the other side pretty handily, if I do say so myself. Keep an eye out, I won't be quiet for too long.
I love you,
SInk

Posted 6 years agoWell I might have to postpone that milestone celebration for the time being, got another commission to work on. I guess that's the best possible problem. And it's going here too! Stuff to look forward to.
Oh fuck
Posted 6 years ago300 faves!!!!!! Whoo. I'm gonna do something to mark the occasion, I just need to draw up some stuff. You'll see.
In the meantime I'm working on a cute Falco pinup, and still rendering Dog Thot. Per usual, my full render paintings take fucking forever, so maybe don't get too excited to see it here soon. That said, I post WIPs on twitter occasionally, and will certainly throw one up here sooner or later. Lots of stuff going on.
I'll keep y'all in the know, I'm pretty damn active lately.

Posted 6 years agoHey! I've taken to naming these whatever random phrase comes to mind whenever I open these. Who knows if I'll continue this as a trend.
Like I said before I'm a little wary continuing some of my old WIPs because I've kind of lost momentum on them, but for the time being I haven't lost it for Dog Thot, and I'm working on painting over those flats. It's actually going pretty well so far, but we'll see. I'm still kinda lukewarm on my paintings.
I guess that's not a great frame of reference, but I'm a much better draftsman. Whatever. I've added it to my list of active WIPs. Comm's are open, per usual. I've updated my inktober category to better reflect how I made them in the first place. I'll likely add an option for smaller paper like my sfw account, but we'll see.
I love you.
Til next our beautiful eyes meet.

Posted 6 years agoHey y'all. I guess I'm back on normal-ass art schedule. Weird having nothing in mind for art again. I'm currently focusing on finishing Blister in the Sun. I might revisit some other old WIPs, but honestly I've lost steam for a lot of them. It'll probably be best for me to keep moving forward after this one.
Uhhh comms are open as always, check my Comm Info tab for more on that. The prices are all up-to-date, and I think they make sense, but if that's not the case hit me up. Uhhhhh yeah.

Commission Reminder
Posted 6 years agoI guess it's worth reminding y'all that I'm done with my entire commission queue and I'm open for commissions again! For the time being I'm going to keep doing some ink drawings, re-open some older projects. The Commission Info tab is up-to-date with current prices and examples. PM me for any inquiries and we can go from there.
Update [10/22/2019]
Posted 6 years agoHeya!!!! I got another couple of Kinktober drawings coming soon. I have one done, but they're meant to be a two-page spread, as it were. It's been a while since I've drawn Legendz, and getting to draw Ran and Shiron again has been really fun. Maybe expect more of them sooner or later. They aren't nearly as busy as the Fox/Falco piece was, I'm still learning to rein in my urge to render everything to high-heaven. I mean it's easier to do on digital for whatever reason, but with traditional pens and all it usually just looks cluttered.
Whatever, I still really like the Fox/Falco one. Expect more of them soon either way, I have plans for them.
But yeah ideally I'll be posting both Ranshiin and Shiron tomorrow. Lambo Lion is almost done too. I have a color pallet for him and the car is mostly colored. All these flat commissions, might have to open for some Kinktober stuff...
Well anyway, have a lovely day, see you soon.

Update [9/16/19]
Posted 6 years agoDon't worry, this account hasn't been abandoned, just been working on SFW content for a while. My next two commissions are lewd though so stay tuned. The lines for one are almost done and the second has been sketched out. This coming Thursday, I'll likely have updates for the first one, and maybe the second should the first go well.

Update Day Change
Posted 6 years agoHey, almost forgot to let y'all know, I'm moving update day to Thursday at 9pm est this week. I was really busy through the majority of the last week, and I figure it'd be best to move the day so the updates could be more substantial.
Update [5/15/19]
Posted 6 years agoUgh, typing on my iPad. Half the keys on this stupid keyboard never work, so please excuse any textual fuckery. Well, some of it.
...anyway, just a little update about, well, how I plan to update for the time being. I prefer to be as transparent as possible, but there’s only....40 of you so I suppose the consequences aren’t exactly nuclear.
Regardless, I’m setting Tuesday as my designated update day for now. Probably around 7-8 pm EST, for the more particular among you. My sfw accounts are my priority by-and-large, but rest assured that I’m going to try and keep the content regular for y’all too. I like to upload WIPs whenever I feel like I’ve made enough progress to warrant another look, but I’ll try and focus my updates on Tues. to keep them fairly substantial.
I believe my schedule of WIPs goes like this:
Gintaro Spreading, Office Bitch Haida, then a Wolfrun piece that I’m finishing the lines for. Those last two miiiight switch places because I was intending on cell-shading it, and I figure it just won’t take as long, but I prefer to do things in post order whenever possible. Things don’t get cancelled really unless they get to be more trouble than they’re worth. I don’t really see that happening with either of those pieces, so whatever order I end up working on them in, they’ll both see the light of day sooner or later.
To summarize: Tuesday nights are the update day for the time being. WIPs may come out earlier, but I’m shooting for Tuesday to keep the updates meaty. “Gintaro Spreading” will be the next finished work, followed by either a new Wolfrun piece or the Haida piece.
That’s enough out of me, have a lovely week, y’all.

Posted 6 years agoHey y’all! Getting toward the end of the semester, so I’m gonna go ahead and open for commission. Got a new commission sheet made for it, so I’m officially open for business. You can PM me here or at any of the contacts on my sheet. If there’s any questions, don’t hesitate to drop a line!
