I interpret this to be that the furry culture is basically one big sewer. A really huge one.

Invariably, there will be something of value in this sewer, given the size, but you have to crawl through mountains of shit to get to it.

This culture takes everything from you, and offers a scrap back, if anything.

Youd have to be crazy, shallow, ignorant, or super committed to stay.

So, I've been a little embroiled in the issue of pedo yiff.I tryed to stay away but couldnt help myself.

Lets just make it short.

Thoughts on the art: Dont really care that you make it, but it points to a gross socio-mental dysfunction. Like any other hardcore fetish art.
Thoughts on ban: Oh no. It happened again. First here, then FN.
It really could affect me less. But the fuss made is aggravating.

I mean, if you had the slightest sliver of foresight you would have an idea that it wouldnt be allowed to be peddled on a public platform forever. Lucky you made it as long as you did; did you really expect to be able peddle your quasi-legal media for long? Oh no, You EXPECTED to? Oh no.

And that shores up a problem with the 'furry' community. The sense of entitlement from nowhere. It ridiculous. It's an art platform being provided free of charge that showed up out of the blue, and it can disappear just as quickly. Sucks? Sure. But thats what it is.

Bottom line: Their rules, their site, Dont like it? Make your own! My-non-existent-god, this community has enough people in the graphic design field. Pool your money, create a cub porn only site. Problem solved. Unless you want to complain ad-infinitum about this issue which occurs every odd half dozen years, that the only course.

Second: Um... The ruling made PURELY political. It's not made in the spirit of raising the banhammer on the innocent cub porn, it's made so the site could continue EXISTING. You do want the site right? Or do you just want to crumble just because you cant have it? Like a spoiled child?

The site, logically speaking must take steps in preserving itself for the whole. If you want the ban gone and the site to go down just because of one group, you are a naive idiot. See the bigger picture (which a lot of furies can do sadly)

There's little use in raising your hackles over a simple site policy. Nothing will change.

What Ive taken from the big experience:
A lot of 'furries' are naive arrogant, and unstable. (Whats new?)
Doctors cant operate on their own children.
People are stupid.
People dont like me when I speak my true mind.

I've been pondering this for the longest time but I haven't even come close to formulating a conclusive answer!

There is WAY too much stuff that isnt needed on this site.

There is no need more for generic colour palleted wolves/foxes (and bears), too many godly fursonas.
Too much of a spotlight on porn/fetishes and not enough on characterization or designs. Thinking processes in general.

Too much shitty art with no thought process.
This system that pressures you to sell your soul and then takes away your value as a person.

I would equate it a toilet being backed up.
Personally I think that the furry community is the greatest hive of dysfunction and backward logic I've ever experienced.
They say theyre open minded but stifle opposing opinions and creative work in favor of the same thing over and over.

When an artists's ambitions greatly outstrip their abilities.

I Havent forgotten about them. But what I have to say is superficial and lacks actual substance, so there isnt a point.

I'll just have to explain as I go along.

I've become heavily disenchanted with the furry culture as of lately.

It's a process that was eventually going to come to pass, but recently it seems to have...accelerated.

I've lost 95% of my original interest in this subculture.
I used to be into to fat things for it's own sake (fetish) but such an interest is fleeting and flare-like, especially since I've seen the fallout such an interest produces.
Even the erotica failed to grasp me. It's boring. BORING!

It's basically the same thing I'm scrolling over again and again, and due to me not being sexually interested in it, it doesn't hold anything for me.

Also It seems that most fetish/porn artists (they might as well be one) lack intention and direction with their pieces; a feeling of listlessness. And such is infectious.
And they dont seem to know what they're making themselves.
Like robots with human capacities.

Such matters would be insignificant if they didn't dominate the interests of most members of this culture. Therefore... I find it difficult to relate or hold a conversation with all but a few.

This will affect my own artwork as well. I dont want to be quacking in the void with my written work simply because I did not betray my values and morals to reach a broader audience.

It is basically the ugly mirror of American society; ironic coming from Disney.
Presented as America but internally New York.
(There literally is a NY train station.)

America is "The land of opportunity" (lies), while New York is the great melting (salad) bowl.
Foxes are African Americans.
Rabbits are blond country hicks.

There is workplace discrimination, racism, and social stigmas.

The one issue I had with the film is that the issues it was goes over were so blatant/transparently presented that it felt it was foisting a social agenda...
But then again, we as a society need to reminded of these things as often as possible, and raise our own social consciousnesses. History is anything but a clean sweep...

I liked the the more serious parts as well. Particularly where Nick was muzzled, it explains his attitude and jaded cynicism. The way scene played also presented the appropriate feel for the psychological/emotional damage the event caused. Overall, the serious parts never felt hammy, which is awesome.

To do the movie justice, it needs a socially conscious audience.

And it didn't really seem to "cater" or target the furry culture. At least to me...

Then again, it wouldn't be PG....

Today, in my saturday class, while I was giving my opinion on the" work camp" prisons of the US (which I compared to the concentration camps of WW2) I accidentally slipped and said 'consecration camps'.

I cracked up laughing, and cracked my class up.
