Heya! Long time no see, it's been almost a full year since I posted a journal here 😅

Truth is I've been focusing a lot on working on commissions and rewards for my Patreon supporters...

...And I kinda set aside the whole uploading stuff here and everywhere else until I've had a bit more time to do non-urgent stuff (such as today). Hence the spam.

Hope that didn't bother anyone! FA doesn't have any scheduling options unfortunately and so I couldn't spread the posts.

Hey everyone! Here are some small updates in regards to my social media and future projects.

Starting with - I'll stop updating my art Facebook because it wasn't being as active as I was expecting it to be. You can still find me in tons of other places - you'll find the links on my profile and at the bottom of my portfolio, siplick.art :)

I will now be taking Saturdays off and devoting these days to working on The Anima Island. This means no commission progress, no email replies, most likely no posts either. I want to push this project forward and give me some time to myself since I have failed in doing that in the previous months and have found that working on my own projects is very relaxing and helpful.

Scheduled posts (finished commissions) will be going up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If I hit certain YouTube goals, I will post a third illustration + speedpaint the week after. Goals will be set in the comments section of my videos of that week and will include reaching X amount of views or likes in a video.

As for my commissions, I have done some small changes:
- Addition of a rush fee
- Small increase in price for two commission types
- Speedpaints will now be a paid option for those who request them
The price increases will apply on commission requests sent starting now (February 1st).

I am, of course, still open for commissions and planning on completing my current wait list during February. You can find all the info on my profile as well as on my commissions Twitter.

Aside from that, here are some updates for my next projects, which I'd like to begin on March-April:

PATREON -
I have begun analyzing the responses and comments you guys left on the Patreon poll I ran (thank you so much, they were incredibly helpful!) and will be elaborating a potential list for perks and rewards soon. My plan is to focus it towards people who want to see more of my art and have an earlier access to it, as well as people who want to learn tips and tricks for creating art. I will post early WIPs, mini tutorials, step-by-step images, and a lot more that I will detail as soon as I organize it a bit better. I won't offer exclusive merchandise through it for now, but am open to the idea for the future.

TWITCH -
I'm going to be opening a Twitch channel to stream through instead of streaming through YouTube. My plan is to do so on Friday afternoons (Europe) and do different kinds of stuff, like working on commissions or personal illustrations, doing small challenges or drawing suggestions from the chat and my patrons.

Hey! It's been a while since I posted an update journal here.

First of all, the good news! I've been confirmed as a Dealer's Den attendant at furrnion, a Spanish furry convention. It'll be my first time attending and tabling there, so I'm hoping it'll be a nice experience :) You'll see me tabling next to the awesome kyomikogei!

On the other hand, my PC died as soon as I came back from Japan Expo in Paris and now I'm looking to build a new one. This means my main workstation is gone, and worst of all - that all of my brushes are also gone lmao... Once I get a new one built, I'll need to install everything and remake all of my tools, so it'll take some time to pick up my pace again. Fortunately, I've been saving up a bunch of commissions in my uploading backlog and I'll be able to upload new art frequently.

Just like I mentioned last month, I figured it'd finally be time to talk a bit about my ongoing project :)

I'm currently developing the sci-fi visual novel The Anima Island, a game I plan to release for PC at some point. Right now, I haven't yet decided on a release date since the game is still at its pre-production stages, but I will most likely have a demo with the first few minutes of the game available by the end of this year, or for early 2019.

TAI will feature a large cast of characters and their conflicts in the fictional setting of Anima Island, in which a mysterious species recently appeared and surprised the island's inhabitants with their never-seen-before features.

You'll experience the story in first person by playing as the female protagonist, for whom you'll be able to pick a name. She's an unexperienced vlogger with an interest in paranormal events who will meet the story's characters and slowly unveil the mystery behind these creatures.

Starting on Monday the 19th, you'll be able to read the prologue to this story in comic book format - one page per week for the next thirtheen weeks. Once finished, you'll be able to meet the main characters from the game, and know more details on the plot and more! I hope you'll enjoy everything I can show you, and that you'll support the project <3 Thank you so much!

Tal y como mencioné el mes pasado, he pensado que ya iba siendo hora de hablar un poco sobre el proyecto que estoy llevando :)

Estoy desarrollando la visual novel de ciencia-ficción Isla Ánima, un juego que tengo pensado hacer para PC en algún punto. Ahora mismo aún no he decidido una fecha porque se encuentra en fase de pre-producción, pero muy seguramente tenga una demo lista para finales de año o comienzos del siguiente.

IA tendrá una gran cantidad de personajes con sus respectivos conflictos en la ficticia Isla Ánima, donde han comenzado a aparecer nuevas y misteriosas especies que han sorprendido a los habitantes de la isla por sus extrañas características.

Exploraréis la historia en primera persona a través de una protagonista femenina a la que podréis dar el nombre que queráis. Ella es una vlogger inexperta pero con interés por lo sobrenatural, y conocerá a los personajes para desvelar lentamente todos los misterios que se ocultan tras estas criaturas.

A partir del lunes 19, podréis leer el prólogo a esta historia en formato cómic. Será una página por semana, durante las próximas trece semanas. Una vez concluido, conoceréis a los personajes protagonistas del juego, y daré más detalles sobre la trama y demás.
