A lot of people might already know about this, but I am just so excited that I still have to share.

About 10 years ago, an animator going by the name of Alvin-Earthworm began a series that became super popular on YouTube and Newgrounds: Super Mario Bros Z. This series combined the fast-paced Dragonball Z combat with characters from the Mario and Sonic universe. Unfortunately, due to family issues and busy work, he stopped animating the series after Episode 8...

That is, until now!

A few days ago, Alvin uploaded a video which was a remastered version of the original first two episodes: Updated with new effects and animations. Needless to say, this video is simply amazing! (I'll link to it below). Even better, Alvin announced that he had plans to reboot the whole series. As such, I thought it would be only fair to share the news of the guy who filled my childhood with so many amazing animated battles:

It is truly a sad that yesterday, Mr. Iwata passed away at 55 years old. He became the 4th president of Nintendo in 2002, but even before then he made huge contributions towards series like Earthbound and Kirby. While he was president, he pushed Nintendo forward as the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii systems were introduced to the world. These are only a small sample of the innovations he helped to make.

Rest in peace, Satoru Iwata. May you legacy live on in Nintendo and its success. You will be greatly missed.

No, this is not going to be me bashing on artists or this site in general. I just like to write my thoughts out; I wish no ill thoughts on others.

So me seeking out commissions so far has been... less than successful. Part of the blame was my mindset going into this. I was under the impression that this would be a rather effortless process on my part. I believed that I could simply post about myself needing art, and that I would get a number of people offering me (back when i was so oblivious and dumb >_<).

Don't worry! I've since learned that it is not so simple. Artists on this site do some amazing work, and they shouldn't have to be the ones searching up people who are in need of artwork. Rather, I should be the one seeking an artist. Funny, I could have realized this sooner had I just listened to some of my friends. Oh well. But now another issue faces me: my character. Now many artists ask for a reference when they are drawing someone's character or persona. Issue for me is that I have never had one drawn before; I've been using this as a reference for Sir Gallade for quite a while. I wish to credit the original artist... but I don't exactly know Japanese and can't read a word on that page. It doesn't look nice when I ask another artist to basically copy work from another one for my own satisfaction.

There is good news, however! I've recently spoken to a wonderful artist wasabitea, who has agreed to help me with some artwork. Hopefully he will be able to make me a more unique Sir Gallade that I can use as a reference for other commissions. However, I don't want this to add any pressure to him; I already appreciate all he is doing for me.

That is pretty much all that was on my mind. Had to learn a few things and become less spoiled since coming here, a phase that took me a little longer to get out of than I would have liked. But oh well, the future looks bright.

So I decided that I finally wrote something that I felt confident enough to share on this site. Granted, it is a piece of writing (and a rather long one) and requires much more work than simply admiring a drawing, but I am afraid this is the only art form I am at least decent in.

Well, no harm in trying, right? Guess we will have to see!

Why hello! My name is Sir Gallade, as you have probably already seen. This profile is for a character that I roleplay, although the roleplay occurs on a site known as f-list (https://www.f-list.net/c/sir%20gallade/). The main reasons that I made an account on furaffinity was to view wonderful artwork and stories, as well to find people who could potentially take requests or commissions for artwork about this character.

I do a little bit of writing also, but I'm going to wait and see if I can make anything that I feel is worthy of uploading on this site. Otherwise, I am afraid my gallery will be fairly empty. That being said, I do enjoy chatting and seeing what pieces of art others can make. I know it is definitely not easy to make such pieces, and as such I try to commend good artwork and artists whenever I can.
