Seriously though, this is a great artist who is timely and professional and takes the time to really hear you before producing a product. So I say that if you happen to be strapped for cash in regard to that badge for an upcoming convention let this artist create a piece of art you'll be happy to wear...I know I will be (to be seen at MFF 2012)

I knowit is more late notice than some artists prefer but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who is or knows someone who draws in a style of the Venture Bros. or Johnny Quest. The art for this years Feral looks decidedly like this style of cartoon and I'd love a piece that matches such a style. If anyone knows of such an artist please me know.

So I just beat Dead Space 2, just in time for this third one I suppose- though I'll probably back burner that one too for at least a hear.

Anyway, if you're like me and a bit behind on the times and haven't played it get your paws or claws on a copy...played in the dark it is traumatic and wonderful, malicious monsters and chilling cellos draw you into a fantastic storyline that got this husky a bit weepy in parts. I was lucky to be able to see through my tears for the next onslaught.

Get a copy or just play it again, I think I'm going back in for Round 2 on this awesome, just freaking awesome game :3

Evening everyone, or morning or...you know I"ll just say 'hi'.

I'm heading out to the Maine area for some field work in the middle of July and was wondering if you fine folks had any sweet places of interest that the tourists hardly know about. Granted I will be a tourist but if I can get a leg up on the rest of the camera wielding fiends then I am eager to do so.

The three main cities I'll be visiting during a two week stint of 'field work' include...
Bangor, Maine (Pronounced 'Bang-er' and it also home of the joke; 'bangor? hardly knew her')
Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
And for a personal weekend I will be staying in Montreal, Canada at a place with a roof top pool O.o

Any tips or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

On my ride into work this morning I realized that my life over the last two weeks has been marked with some interesting events. I earned my Master's Degree in Forest Ecology and Management and walked in commencement and then days later I moved into a larger apartment with my awesome roommate  Narf1070. My job is treating me well and I'm applying for a better position within the company (just in case though, if you are hiring someone who can process SAR and Optical/IR imagery let me know haha). It's one of those things where you look around yourself and can't help but smile because...well because you're surrounded by people that help you along the way and that you've worked hard and have gotten away with a trick or two.

Now for a lighter side, recently  Keagan posted a journal about natural selection and one of my favorite comedians of all time George Carlin had some interesting views on such things. I shared a quote from him in Keagan's journal (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3418805/) and recommend anyone to listen to more of this passed sage. Tonight though I'd like to share a clip from his earlier days, a clip about the flamethrower and it's creation...enjoy. Oh, and mind your eyebrows :3

A month or so ago a friend of mine, Narf1070, drew me a wonderful picture of my husky dog character. There was chatter around the image of a story being written. I contacted the person who seemed excited and have since written what can best be described as an introduction to a much more involved story line. It was the first writing I had done outside of school or work in a great while and I felt the dust being shaken off with each sentence.

The point of this journal though is to gauge interest in such a story. It will be submitted on my profile page and we will go from there.
