2012- The bullshitpocalypse
Posted 16 years agoI as so fucking sick of seeing internet ads claiming the end of the world will be in 2012. I will strangle the next person who says the world will come to an end at 2012.
2012 doomsday BS is perhaps the biggest lie since the Millenium event.
Here is why:
1) It is based on a Mayan stone tablet, i.e. based on a tablet of a dead civilization.
2) Said tablet was deciphered by a New Age Group, i.e. they may have been smoking pot when they did so.
3) Some people are putting their fate on a computer who happens to have predicted a few disasters... need i say more?
Wanna know what will truly happen in 2012? The sun will rise up in the sky everyone will do what they always did and when night come they will do what they usually do at night. There will be no meteorites smashing earth to a billion pieces, no apocalypse, NOTHING.
So can we please stop on the 2012 Bullshit?

2009 in my perspective

I'm a very bitter person and I'm not the cheerful kind
Thus if you see me rant about ordinary things then take note of the above.
But before I state my perspective of 09, let me tell you this:
Thank you for your comments and watches and faves. I owe you people my thanks for supporting my Maurin House idea, commented on my art and gave me positive reinforcement.
with that said let me tell you my 2009.

2009 may well be similar to 2008 and 2007 where it not for the incredible shittyness i had to go through.
To start the year was a fight with my mother who spent the next month or so not talking to me for possibly the most fucking stupid of reasons.
It was also during this year that i saw some of the horribliest films in my fucking life at a cheap 2 euro cinema all because of 2 fucking ex-friends who wanted to see them. which movies you might ask? None other than Twilight, Babylon A.D. and possibly the worst movie than Twilight, Hotel for Dogs. Sure 2 euros per film is not bad but when your watching some of the lousiest films and then have to listen to two fucking stupid cunts praising them, you feel that you have been ripped off and you feel that your surrounded by idiots.
Speaking of those 2 fucks. At the beginning of last summer i was to go for a 3 day holiday with them in an apartment. It would have been had it not been for an important BTEC exam that I had on the exact same day that we were supposed to go. When I told them at first I thought that they understood me, but they soon began to call me liar and a coward. I told them I had proof that I had an exam but all they did was just insult me. The next day i called one of them to see if they wanted to see the proof, but instead he started to scream and insult me. To further increase the insult one of them tried to talk to me at the end of November but was met with hostility from me (he is a very manipulative person). Before he left he said that people talk to people, which is bullshit because he is not a "people" but a liar of the first order.
I guess I have to blame 2009 for turning me more bitter than I usually am. But hey let me end this journal with the highlights of 2009.
The launch of Maurin House was met with positive reaction, which was something very unexpected for me. Once again I wish to thank everyone who supported me so far.
Found out that I am not the only furry who hails from Malta.
Discovered that i am bisexual.
and last and not least:
Admitted that I am a nerd.
Join me next time were i will argue about how the 2012 doomsday phenomenon is nothing more than bullshit.

About Maurin House (pls read)
Posted 16 years agoAs many of you know Maurin House is my personal best creation in flash. As such I feel that i should tell you some answers which are very likely to arise in the future. So with no further bullshiting, here's a FAQ of possible questions:
1) What was the inspiration behind Maurin House?
High Tail Hall and Tail Underground, two games which are similar to one another. Since one of the recent comments in V2 was that I am "ripping off"
BadDoganimations' "The Penthouse" (which you should play it because its great), I wish to make it clear that my inspiration for Maurin House was, is and always shall be High Tail Hall and Tail Underground. So no offense to BDA, I was inspire by Crowchild and the creator of Tail Underground.
2) Why did i start Maurin House?
Mainly because i wanted to create an interactive game.
I never expected the game to garner much attention in the first place, so I was surprised when i saw many people faving the game (26 isn't a big number for some, but for me it is quite big).
3) Will there be male characters?
Yes, in fact i am already working to include a male in the 3rd update. I am currently working on having at least 5 interactive males, either as femboys or waiters.
4)Possibility of a herm character?
I am planning to include 2 so far, but there will probably more.

Maurin House V2 is up + realisation + movie rant

The new version of Maurin House is up and running. For now it's just Lady Maurin, but next week there will be the Janitor and Jesse the barmaid. Also expect a cameo of a guest.
I really had problems with this version. Mainly i was feeling really lazy, which in my terms means that work could be postponed from weeks. Also a few months ago I started a new course in business in which it will lead me to the degree in business. And finally my laptop issues which took me almost a month to fix.
But now I'm back! And i'm going to bust a few caps! (translation: try to upload art and animations more often)
Realisation:
I came to me a few weeks ago when i was talking with some friends of mine at a games club that, unlike many people in my country, made me realize what i truly am. For years i was trying to avoid being something i was.
I am a thinker, or as many like to call them, geeks.
I know it sound stupid, but i truly am. How do i know this? Simple really. Of the entire course i am currently in, I'm the only one who truly has some knowledge on actors, directors and films.
"But anyone can have knowledge about movies and books!" i hear you say. True, but from where i live and where the majority of you live the standards of geeks is very different.
"Haha" i hear some people say whilst flexing their muscles and showing off their girlfriend as if to state they are better. Ok, fine your physically better than me, but know this: whilst you act like a smartass, the top management will always contain geeks!
Movie rant:
Do you remember Star Wars, the original trilogy? Do you remember how great it was to see Mark Hamil as Luke Skywalker wielding a light saber against the slayer of his father Darth Vader only to find out that Darth Vader was in fact his father much to the shock and awe of the audience? Do you remember the great ending in which the redeemed Darth Vader appears alongside Yoda and Obi wan thanks to the power of the Force?
For me the Star Wars trilogy is and always shall be the greatest film series of all time. Which is why i have to argue about the awfulness of the prequel trilogy and its clone war spin-off.
Why did we need a trilogy in which we saw Anakin Skywalker become Darth Vader? In my image Darth Vader is a mysterious villain with an unknown past which made the revelation of him being Luke's father the more dramatic. The prequel trilogy made him less of a badass villain and more of a tragic soul.
I think that there enough rants about the awfulness of the prequel trilogy over the internet, so let me speak about the clone wars.
As anyone who saw the ending of the third, and possibly the only redeemable, movie Anakin became Darth Vader with his classic black armor. In the Clone Wars movie Anakin is still a jedi which really derails the plot for me. Why make a movie which is supposed to lead to the third film after you made the third film? Why introduce a character which has no importance in the 3rd movie when she has no importance to the plot let alone making any significant part in the rest of the series? Better yet, who cares what happened between episode 2 and 3?
Seriously, Clone Wars is perhaps one of the worst Star Wars spin-off, seconded only by the dreaded Star Wars Holiday special. Clone Wars is pretty much just padding for the inevitable end of the saga.

Laptop updates
Posted 16 years agoDecided to update this journal...
Well 2 days ago the computer repair store called with bad news....my laptop was unrepairable by their technitions and therefore i had 2 options, either wait for months for my laptop to be repaired by the mother company or get a newer cheaper model. I obviously decided to go with option 2, thus next week i'll get a new laptop.
I really hate Scan....and Sony....

Posted 16 years agoIf there is anything that i hate most on the face of the earth is when technology fails on me. This is what happened to me with my laptop. Its graphic card has pretty much died on me and had to take it to the computer shop from where i bought it.
ANother thing i hate is when they write on the contract that part and labour are 1 year warranty WHEN THE EU LAW STATES THAT IT HAS TO BE 2 YEARS.
This happened to me on the old pc, but thank fully i created saves of all my files on the pen drives. This includes Maurin House and a secret game (its a secret, ssshhhh!).
My only problem is when those fuckers at the computer shop will repair my lappy and how much.
I hate SCAN.......

Next Monday (16th November)I am going to be 21 years old.
I would offer cake, but no one like digital cakes X3......

Yogi Bear - Live action film

From as far as i remember Yogi Bear was always my beloved childhood character alongside the Ninja Turtles and Alvin and the Chipmunks. With the Turtles recent CG film, which i felt mediocre, and Alvin and the Chipmunks being outright terrible, I think i have one thing to say to that film:

I have finished drawing up 9 out of 14 rooms that i have planned for the game. The current ideas of rooms are:
Bar
Bedroom
Office
Pool
Elevator
BDSM room
Alley (Pls refrain from commenting on the fact that Alleys are not rooms)
Maurin House (Characters)
Lady Maurin and Janitor are almost complete. Of all the characters that do not need redesign these two are the most unnecessary.

Re designing Maurin House
Posted 16 years agoAfter much thought and looking at how the current edition is, i have decided to re design the whole flash. The current version is an bit of an eyesore as it looks a bit too poorly designed. Mind you the characters are ok but the building itself looks badly drawn.
So off i go to re design the building.

Posted 16 years agoMy right foot has decided to afflict me with pain whenever I walk. It is incredibly painful as I am almost always on my feet even at home. When I sit down it does not hurt but when i stand up or walk it hurts like all hell.
Exam Results:
Passed from all BTEC exams but failed in Statistics. Really disappointed with myself as i felt that i should have passed that exam. At least i have my resit exam in September.
Maurin House:
Currently on stand still. With the current flash dimensions that FA has imposed the game is glitching like hell. I am working on the character Models.
Which leads me to my next problem to the game: I am thinking of redesigning the rooms.

Posted 16 years agoUnless your living in clouds, Micheal Jackson has recently died from cardiac arrest, i.e. heart attack.
Now some of you out there may know MJ for his many controversy involving children, but despite all that (if they are real of course) Micheal Jackson should be remembered as the King of Pop.
