2025 Commissions Open
Posted 5 months agoHope everyone's doing well today. As the title suggests, I want to go ahead and open Commissions for 2025. Last year, I only really did commissions for Patrons. This year, it's open to everyone: both patrons and the public.
Rather that post prices and the like, I created a Jotform (link here: https://form.jotform.com/240015926642048) that you can fill in with all the information you need and it'll give you a rough estimate of how much your story will be. Please be as detailed as you can since it saves time from going back and forth on ideas. You can shoot me a note/message if you want to work on the idea but I'm only accepting commissions submitted through the form!
There's also a helpful public link (here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/92616954) on my Patreon that has the following: links to media sites (MAL, How Long to Beat, etc.) so you can gauge what I'm familiar with. There's also a list there of my preferred and disliked writing topics.
It's worth noting that I'm only taking a limited amount. NO MORE THAN TEN. And not every commission will be chosen. With Patreon essentially my second job (that has taken up more of my time since 2023), I can't take on a ton nor take on stories that I can't give it my all.
This will be open for all of June. July 1, I'll shut the link down and reach out to those who will be receiving commissions.

Commissions Open
Posted 2 years ago1. I charge $0.0175 (1.75 cents) for long story commissions (about $9 per page). Blame my therapist but she thinks I undersell myself and yes, she knows about this. Finds it a good way to relieve stress and be creative.
2. For reference, I try to focus on games, cartoons, anime, movies, etc. that I'm familiar with to provide a higher quality. If you have a question about something I've seen/know about, just ask. 70% chance I likely know about it.
3. The only hard no's I have are Pregnancy and Extreme Muscle Growth. Everything else is an as-is basis, meaning I'll consider it but no guarantee.
4. I will give discounts on certain franchises depending on if its something I especially like since I enjoy writing for them.
5. I also offer short Drabble commissions, the link can be found here: https://forms.gle/rDTpx5ojc9qDmFZQ8 These tend not to be too long and are priced as such. Difference between long form comms and drabbles is mostly how much detail I can go into and such.
6. I'll have commissions open for a few weeks and will reach out to people who I've chosen. Try to have an idea ready to go so we don't need to play note tag. If you have any questions, my discord is Wales#6849 which I'm on almost 24/7.

Patreon Announcement
Posted 2 years agoSome of you may not know this, but I’ve been writing on DeviantArt for about 17 years, starting back around 2005/2006 with a contest held by FMSU that helped encourage me to write more. There’ve been plenty of ups and downs along the way: scrapped stories, redoing my account, cool friends, annoying people, the list goes on. Needless to say, I’ve been around. I’ve joked about being so old in this community that I remember when the biggest site was Animexpansion, formerly PAWG (Yeah, when’s the last time you heard that acronym?)
Anyway, I’m not doing all this as some big send-off announcement or something. I love writing and providing you all stories to enjoy but want to offer more as well. So, today, I’m announcing a patreon! You can find the link here: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=6742496

$2 Tier: Access to Work in Progress (WiP) stories and seeing them before they’re posted to DeviantArt
$4 Tier: WiP previews and voting on polls for what non-commission story to work on next as well as adding ideas to go on the poll
$6: WiP and Poll Perks. Once a month, you can submit a picture/prompt for a three page drabble (essentially you’re getting one every month for half the normal price) and early dibs on commissions and longer drabbles
There will also be weekly updates for all tiers with my writing trackers and other announcements to keep you in the know.
I don’t think I’ll do a discord like others do with patreon, at least not at the moment. Maybe if it gets enough traction I will. There are other perks and ideas I’d like to try as well but I don’t wanna do too much all at once. Nothing will be patreon exclusive, eventually making its way to my pages (DeviantArt or Furaffinity). If you’re getting a commission or drabble, I’ll always ask if posting WiP will be okay since I know some prefer their ideas stay private.

2023 Commissions Open
Posted 3 years agoNew Year is approaching and I have two regular commissions I’m working on and a handful of drabbles. I do feel I got better (mostly) with writing now that I log how much I write on a given day. Hopefully no insane life issues roll my way like this past year has given me, but that’s beside the point.
I am changing a few small things here and there. Please read through the list as some things have changed. Below are all the things you need to know:
1. I charge $0.02 (2 cents) for long story commissions (about $10 per page). Blame my therapist but she thinks I undersell myself and yes, she knows about this. Finds it a good way to relieve stress and be creative.
2. For reference, I try to focus on games, cartoons, anime, movies, etc. that I'm familiar with to provide a higher quality. If you have a question about something I've seen/know about, just ask. 70% chance I likely know about it.
3. The only hard no's I have are Pregnancy and Extreme Muscle Growth. Everything else is an as-is basis, meaning I'll consider it but no guarantee.

That being said, I also will say this right now: I'd like to take a small break from MHA ladies (until I open comms again) I enjoy them but I'm feeling a bit eh on doing any more at present. As I said, once I get through current batch, I'll remove this. Sorry for any inconvenience but don't want to submit an inferior product cause I'm not feeling it.

2022 Commissions
Posted 3 years agoAs promised, I am going to open commissions again. However, I'm doing things different this time to not overload myself and to hopefully get through stories much quicker than before. If you want a commission or are interested, leave a comment or send a note to me and I'll add your name to the list. After a few days have passed (at least five), I am going to randomly do a wheel-spin type deal to pick 4-5 to work on. Once all those commissions are done, I'll reopen them. However, the only stipulation is that if you won a slot before not to get one back to back; I want to let other people have a chance to get a story they want done. I'm trying this out for the first time. If it works, great. If not, I'll try something new since I want everyone to have equal opportunities to get their stories.

1. Price is going to be 1.5 cents ($.015) a word with a 3 page minimum

Quick Commissions

These are at a discounted rate of .01 cents per word, so about $5 for a page. The same rules of my normal commissions apply (Namely anything/everything is fair game and no pregnancy or hyper muscle).
