If you are interested in purchasing a commission, please fully read all the information listed here in my TOS. If you have any questions, I can be contacted at skylosdog[at]gmail.com and through notes on my FurAffinity, Weasyl, or DeviantArt.
I work under the assumption that you, as the commissioner have read and accepted my ToS. If you have not I do not accept responsibility for any problems it causes.
What I Will Not Draw
As the artist, I retain the right to refuse any commission for any reason. If I am unskilled at drawing the subject of the commission you WILL be warned before I accept payment. I am open to trying new things and learning, but please understand that it may not be up to the same level of quality.
Subjects I will NOT draw:
- Heavy Gore/Blood/Violence
- Anything racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic
- Rape
- Hyper anything (including ultrafat, hyper muscles, hyper genitalia or breasts)
- Inflation
- Transformation
- Scat/Messy
- Vomit
- Vore
- Snuff
Subjects I am not experienced with (An additional fee may be added if you request something on this list)
- Mechanics/Machines (cars, guns, robots, etc)
- Weaponry and armor
- Fighting
- Very muscular characters
- Humans
- Complicated clothing
This list is subject to change. If you have any questions, please ask me via email.
Payment
I currently only accept payments through PayPal
For commissioners that do NOT request a WIP, the full payment will be requested before the commission is started. For commissioners that DO request a WIP the price of the sketch of your work (the stage at which WIPs are sent) will be asked for in advance and the rest will be expected after confirmation of the WIP.
When your commission spot has been confirmed, I will ask for your paypal and send you an invoice. Please, even if you know my paypal, do not send payment before the invoice is sent! Payment is typically expected within 24hrs of the invoice being sent. If you are unable to do so, please make sure to talk to me about it first so we can work something out. If your invoice goes unpaid for five days without notice, you will be removed from the queue.
Your Commission
I work at random points during the week but do my best to answer notes and emails within a day of receiving them.
If you request a WIP, you will be required to pay for the sketch of the commission upfront. The rest of the total will be paid once you confirm the WIP. You will NOT be scheduled for commission completion until the WIP has been confirmed.
If you have not requested a WIP you will be notified of the projected date of completion for the commission upon my receiving your payment.
If you choose to see the WIP, you are welcome to make minor changes, such as:
- changes in expression
- pose alterations
- adding in props or minor details
- clothing edits
If you would like to make larger changes or have me completely redo the sketch, there will be a small fee added. This is why it's very important to give me all the information upfront.
If for some reason I misread or missed information you sent me or got something completely wrong, edits of any size are free.
Once I have finished you commission the only edits I will make for free will be minor changes in color or lighting unless it was my fault. If the error was caused by missing information you will be charged a fee for the edits.
Commissioner Rights
When your commission is completed, you will receive both a high res file and a smaller res file that WILL be labeled for posting. Please keep the full resolution file for personal use ONLY and do not upload it to any galleries or public sites. This is to prevent people other than myself or the commissioner from printing or duplicating the work.
If you wish to upload the commission to online galleries (such as FA, Weasyl, etc), please only upload the smaller res file. In addition, when posting, please include credit to me, as the artist (SkylosDog). Linking back to my page (DA, FA or Weasyl) is not required, but it is much appreciated!
As a commissioner, you are not allowed to distribute the artwork for profit or mass produce it (including advertising). If you want art for those purposes please contact me about obtaining a commercial license for the art and we can work something out.
As the artist, I retain full rights to artwork I create, including right to post and use the artwork for promotional and advertising purposes. I will never resell any commissioned work or mass produce it without explicit permission of the commissioner. I will never take credit for ideas and characters that are not mine and proper credit will always be given to the commissioner for characters on any works posted. If you do not wish your commission to be posted a fee may be charged as posting commissions is my primary form of advertising and therefore making money.
Please do not edit any of my artwork (even if you are the commissioner) beyond cropping the image without asking first. If there are changes you want to be made, please ask me! I’m willing to do minor edits (such as minor color edits, cropping, etc.) free of charge. You are not allowed to remove my signature for any reason. If you have any questions, please ask and let me know what you want to do with it and we can work something out.
If you commission an unfinished picture (such as a sketch, inks, or flat colors) you many NOT pay someone else to finish it for you. You may color it yourself but please indicate that in any post of it. If you do not I reserve right to ask you to post that information or to ask you to take it down.
I will never distribute working files to customers as it promotes editing of the file. If you have questions about the working file, I will be happy to answer them for you.
Refunds
If for some reason you no longer wish to have a commission completed, refunds can be done. If I have not started work yet, you will be refunded the full price. If work has already begun you will be given a partial refund according to the level of work completed. I retain rights to recycle sketches and even modified lineart if you discontinue the commission.
If you are unsatisfied with the end results of a commission, a refund will not be given out. Edits at this point can be worked out, but there will be a charge for them unless the error is my fault. It’s your responsibility as the commissioner to give me the proper information to work with and to approve the WIP (if you request one).
