DOT Character drawings almost done!
Posted 3 years agoNearing the completion of all 5 character illustrations for my series: Defenders of Tryest.
Think I'm going to post these one at a time over the next few days as they get cleaned up.
This was a big undertaking for myself as I haven't really drawn anything in so long. I've also learned a lot in the process as I've never really done drawing in the digital format before; plenty of graphic art, logos, album covers etc.. but never of my own characters. Pretty fun, and quite relaxing as well!
As I've stated before, I'm still learning. Any constructive criticism is welcomed, it will only help in the end.

Posted 3 years agoSo I've been working on a large project (large for me anyway) illustrating all 5 main characters from Defenders of Tryest: Reggie, Nale, Geb, Kerry and Darcrat. Now I wanted to release these one at a time as they're finished, but I've decided to have them all connect together to create a battleground scene; similar to the Marvel comic variants covers / collectable card sets etc... So I really need to wait until the last image is done because of consistency edits.
Anyway, for the hell of it I'm uploading an earlier lineart of Reggie, just to show what I'm getting myself into.
Once done, all these images will be uploaded back to back.
Also, I debating on whether or not I want to upload the story here, or find another site that's better for writings.

Ready to upload some new stuffs
Posted 3 years agoThe next few posts are digital re-draws of some of my later work. These are of newer character's that aren't a part of the main Defenders of Tryest story. At least not yet.
At some point, I plan on drawing fresh shots of the main cast: Reggie, Nale, Geb, Kerry and Darcrat. There is a bunch of sub-characters as well, but they'll get their day.
I'm very shaky at all this, not only drawing digitally but coloring, shading, and backgrounds as well. But I got to say, it is very relaxing to draw while listing to some good music:3

Posted 3 years agoSo I'm stepping outside my comfort zone and decided to upload my art to the webz.
The first few images I will be adding are pretty old; the first being from the mid '90's, the latter few are from the early '00's.
No real reason to post this stuff, But I figured why not.
I am currently redrawing / coloring some of my better art digitally using my tablet. These will be added periodically.
I'm veerrry slow with this stuff due to work, games, and music projects sucking up my time, but as I make progress they will be posted.
Most of the art uploaded will be from a series I've been working on called "Defenders of Tryest". This is about a group of high-school friends that utilize alien technology to protect their world from an invading mad scientist. Kind of always imagined this to be ether a comic or cartoon that's for like 16+ I guess. But simple illustrations with story bits dropped from time to time will be good for now.
I feel it's time to share this with the world, cause there is no point just keeping it in my head any longer. Naamean?
