Definitely plan to if I get that thing finished with Lazer'so help

Maybe deep doodles

Back Surgery and Recovery!

Friday January 8th I underwent back surgery for a severely herniated disk. It's not something doctors want to preform on a 24 year old, and it's certainly not what I imagined I'd be doing in 2016 but the disk was pressing on nerve roots on both sides of my spine, causing severe pain, and running the risk of permanent damage, even the loss of moving my legs. I've really kept it to myself since I'm not one to share such business or fish for attention, but I know some friends and family have had questions.
I've had pain come and go for about 6 months, but never did I think a herniated disk was the cause. In the last month I have faced some of the worst physical pain I have ever experienced in my life. After an x-ray, trying different medications, and finally and MRI, the source of my excruciating pain was discovered. I've met with a neurosurgeon twice, and he decided surgery was the nescessary route. He said it really was an emergency situation and he was even surprised I was walking at all. I guess I'm tougher than I realized. I've dealt with a lot in the last 6 months.
I went to University Hospital in Augusta that morning at 9:00 a.m. to get checked in. My surgery was scheduled for 11:00 a.m, but was actually moved up a little bit since they were done with the surgery before mine a little early.
All of my back, hip, and leg pain is gone! I just have some soreness as to be expected, where the incision is. I only spent one night in the hospital and I even walked, with the help of a walker only hours after surgery!
I have a follow up appointment January 19th to find out how long I have to use a walker and how long I will be out of work. I've already been out of work for about a month, and if it wasn't for my parents' and my mate's generosity and help I would be struggling much harder than I am money wise.
Keep me in your thoughts, fellow furry friends as I make it down this long road of recovery.

Looking for Someone to Fur a headbase!
Posted 10 years ago I would like to find someone willing to fur a foam head base I made. I have no experience with furring a head and with work I don't have the time I'd need to get it done :c I have purchased most of the materials, including fur/fleece, buckram and polyfill.

~Step 1~
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
~Step 2~
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special!

I didn't intentionally disappear from FA for 6+ months, so if anyone out there cares to know or has needed me for something, I apologize. I've been dealing with a lot of personal stuff, including depression and it's been difficult to stay on track. I had gotten to a point where I became more depressed each time I visited FA and saw all of the wonderful things others created, feeling like I would never be good enough to do anything worth anything for anyone with my art. Over time my depression worsened, and going through an emotionally abusive relationship cast me into a very dark place. I am sorry to anyone who has looked for me to be on FA, and to friends who care about me that I have neglected to stay in contact with. I'm on my own now, so with that plus therapy I'm hoping to continue healing and get better and be around more. Maybe do some doodles and when I'm ready, possibly join the exchanges again.

Please Excuse This Self-loathing Rant
Posted 12 years agoI have felt very down and unhappy about my artwork for at least the past 6 months. I try my best each and every time I draw something, unless I am just being silly and doodling, yet I feel like my art just isn't very good sometimes. Yes I sometimes rush myself, maybe because I am a bit impatient to see my final product, but I haven't been able to draw anything I have been satisfied with in a long time. I understand that I am not on the same level as other artists, but honestly, I am not trying to be. I am just tired of feeling like nothing I draw is even worth sharing with anyone else. I feel like I have no skills at times and my art is shitty...
Fursona Transition: Decision
Posted 12 years agoI have been thinking over the past few days about what to do about my sona. I have decided to change over to Sydney. He is a herm character, but when pictured without clothing, he will mostly seem androgynous, unless he is specifically depicted with genetalia or breasts. I have a reference in the works thanks to

I feel more suited to a Suffolk Sheep, which are white and fluffy with the black/grey face and legs, and since I am gender fluid, Sydney can be depicted or viewed as either gender to suit my feels. I think I will feel better, and then I don't have to choose between Rendi and Risky when I want art. So there we go :3 Changed my sona!
