My new character - Flip
Posted 10 years agoThis is probably the furriest thing I have ever written..
As of today I have officially created a second character. As someone who didn’t really ‘get’ why someone would do this in the past I wanted to take some time to write out all of my thoughts to help my friends understand what changed for me.
My current tiger – Smilee is great and I love him however, some days I wonder if I have outgrown him a bit. I created Smilee way back in 1997 when I first joined the fandom. My tiger was an ideal form for me at the time: he was muscly, was comfortable with being gay[1], silly and happy. At this point I have caught up and now Smilee is me… well, minus the muscly part. In anycase, the entire process was very organic and I didn’t put allot of thought into it.
With my new character I wanted to do something different. I wanted this new character to have purpose in my mind. I wanted to really think about what he represented and why. Naïvely, I thought this process would be quick, something I could do in a couple of evenings but I was wrong. This whole process took me several years.
Flip is meant to give me an outlet to explore different aspects of my personality, body and sexuality that I don’t currently. In terms of his shape Flip has exactly the body I wish I could have – small, fit, hot with a really nice butt. Personality wise, he represents a side of me that shockingly few people really know – he’s sensitive, introspective, sexual, and frankly a little shy despite outward appearances.
Flip is a bunny. Yes a bunny. This wasn’t originally my intention at all. He started out as a super cute deer boy but no matter how hard I tried being a deer never quite ‘fit’ me. After a long while I stepped back and pondered a bunch of different alternatives[2] but still nothing seemed right. But then I asked myself: ‘Could flip be a small cute bunny?’. As soon as I did I knew the answer: Flip is a bunny. At that moment a huge smile swept across my face and Flip became a part of me in a way that I didn’t expect.
My bunny is short and light brown with cream highlights. He stands about 5 foot 4 inches with al lean build and well-defined arms. His tummy is flat and he has a nice round perky butt with a fluffy tail that perks up with a cream colored underside. Flip has a patch of cream-colored spots on his left hip that are slightly visible from the front. He also has longish brown styled but messy hair. In his free time Flip likes to cut loose and have some fun. He loves simply spending time with his friends and can often be found at parties, dancing at an EDM show, out shopping for new clothes or just simply having coffee at an interesting café. Flip also likes to play videogames and read manga but tends to keep those interests a little more private for some reason.
Flip enjoys flirting with those that he finds cute. For the most part it’s boys with some small exceptions. Sometimes Flip’s flirting gets him into trouble since Flip’s range of experiences is a little less broad than some people think it is. He really enjoys trying new thing in bed but is always a little nervous/shy about starting things. Thankfully, his small stature encourages others to pick him up and push him around which allows him to try new things despite his nervousness. At the end of the day when it comes to sex Flip is most happy when the other person has gotten off in the way they want and this turns him on immensely.
On the surface Flip seems pretty simple: outgoing, living in the moment and fun. While flip is all of these things he also has a much more sensitive, introspective and super shy side. He sometimes worries that only a few people understand both sides of his personality.
