I know I said I wasn't going to name anyone in the previous (now deleted) journal, and I don't like to call people out in general, but I have just learned the full extent of what has been going on behind my back and the disgraceful claims that were made about myself and my friend.

User  spilttea, formerly  sweettea2, also known as "RiGuy" has been making fabricated claims that  luckytwolf and myself had been frequently messaging and calling him on discord to harrass him and urging him to end his life. As a result of these claims,  luckytwolf and myself have been targeted by another user who I will not be naming as although he was exceptionally hostile, he was acting on misinformation and believed the situation to have been very different to the reality. Needless to say, the entire situation had a considerable negative impact on both our reputations that neither of us were aware of the cause for.

Formerly, spilttea under his previous account, had already been blocked by myself and several others due to trolling people's submissions, kinkshaming and generally being a nasty shit. However, both me and luckytwolf were eventually willing to forgive this and allow him to contact us again. spilttea frequently tried to hit on luckytwolf and make inappopriate comments about both Lucky and my characters, as well as frequently pestering for nsfw roleplay, despite being told no and asked to stop multiple times. This led to luckytwolf breaking off contact with him in January of 2024. I also distanced myself from him and had not heard from him since around the same time.

I have now blocked both of his accounts and will not be speaking to him further. Anyone who is in contact with this individual please be warned of this behaviour.

Thanks for the multitude of notes telling me to off myself, I'm sure sending that kind of unsolicited advice makes you feel real big. I'm quite puzzled as to how my continued existence is such a concern to you seeing as I keep to myself and haven't involved myself in your affairs in any way. If my ability to remain alive offends you in some way then kindly refrain from actively observing it. I'm sure you'll feel better in no time. Or not. I don't really care because I don't terribly appreciate people who send abusive notes.

Who is Maxie?

Maxie is that friend you always wished you had, who is there for you when you need her and always seems to know the right thing to say that will make you smile. She’d do anything to see that smile and can even be a bit protective of you.

Maxie is the benevolent action, the kind thought, the shoulder to cry on, the consideration for others.

Maxie is also a big sweetheart of a blue furred wolf with sneezes that can blow the windows out.

Be like Maxie and be beautiful. Except maybe the part with the destructive sneezes, that sounds risky.

Who is amber?

Amber is me. Amber is also you. Amber is anyone who dreams. Dreams of a world in which we walk amongst and take the form of the wildest, the most whimsical of creatures. Dreams of befriending a blue furred wolf called Maxie who can blow down a house of wood with a sneeze. Dreams of getting caught in the blast and getting back up unharmed. Dreams of stretchy kangaroos and snuggly coyotes. A werewolf kiss, from the wild and untamed. Walking in stride with giant creatures of beauty and power with absolute trust and without fear. Being fragile yet knowing safety like no other.

I have always felt it of great importance to let others get immersed in a fantasy and participate in a world they may take delight in. Not just as a viewer, looking in but unable to feel like a part of it. I have felt that emptiness myself and wish to break down that barrier in the most effective manner. It is from such a desire that I came to write the little games that some of you will remember.

Dreams are important. Keep dreaming.

I'm disappointed that i'm having to acknowledge / highlight this really as it seems like basic courtesy to be respectful and kind to others, regardless of whether their artistic style appeals to you or whether you enjoy the themes and subjects of what they post on their FA.

Whether on submissions or in notes, nobody wants to get comments that tear down their art or criticise what they enjoy.

Gonna be naming / shaming in future and sharing any rude notes I get 'cause i'm sick of one or two people thinking it's okay to have this attitude.

Having been inspired to create the latest comic after encountering a store brand pepper mill with an obvious design flaw, I couldn't bring myself to throw it out. This was, apparently, a mistake as it thanked me by self destructing much like it did in the comic and spilling peppercorns all over my food. Twice.

I shall be shopping for a decent one in the near future.

Having been both busy and sick this month, there wasn't going to be much in the way of new content posted up for Christmas. However, thanks to the talent and enthusiasm of a couple folks I have some good news for fans of Maxie and Roca this month - not just one, but 2 new stories!

Hopefully I can get some new art started soon and will have something to show for that in the new year but for now sit tight and enjoy the excellent writing.

After goodness knows how long of not posting anything and quite a lot of encouragement from folks I have decided to actually post up a few things I made over the last year or so starting with some pictures of Kango, who, for those of you who don't watch obscure old cartoons, is a made up animal who happens to be capable of taking huge breaths and puffing up... but is unable to hold them very long! I illustrated Kango in order to make a comic or two using the pictures, and shared these with one or two friends who are similarly into huffy puffy stuff and big sneezes and it kind of started a bit of a run on Kango pictures which I was pretty pleased to see (and hope continues) but I figured I should actually post the thing I made somewhere folks can enjoy it (if they are into that kinda thing) If folks want to see the actual comics I made, you can note me. (I'm not going to upload them for now as I wasn't 100% happy with them, the 3 pics I put up are kind of a "best of")

I'm aware that some folks consider Kango a male character, due to being referred to as such in the cartoon, but I consider this to be an error on the part of the other character due to thinking the baby one grew big - it's pretty clear to me that the big kango is the mother of the baby as she has a pouch and carries the baby around. However, everyone has their own headcanon on these matters and I don't wish to spoil that for anyone. I may actually design an original kango character if there's interest - the species is public domain like the cartoon!

Anyway, hope folks like the little bit of activity from me and hopefully i'll have something else to show for soon.
