Posted 8 years agoFinally got off my butt and started uploading commissions I've gotten over the last year or so. Still have a few more to come but for the moment it's after midnight and I really need to sleep. A couple uploads are marked to get stories I or others have written to go along with them popped in, in the next few days. Probably on Tues/Wed since that's when I'm free.
There will be a few that lack proper artist credit, mostly becuase I've forgotten who did it and have to go hunting through notes to find the info. >.> Yeah... I'm a tad unorganized.

How a sleepless nigth can go hilariously bad + Update
Posted 12 years agoSleep absolutely refused to come to me tonight so I ended up heading out to the porch to smoke and try to unwind. 
Fawkes-softpaw joined me, and dear lord. 4 am boredom led to the pair of us crafting probably a years worth of hilarious mini comic strip ideas about the adventures in an office building. A little over an hour and two tired and goofy furs later we decided to finally head back inside and stop laughing.
Absolutely terrible...but in a hilarious way. All I'm gonna say is office supplies can be dangerous. We may or may not band together to find and artist to make these come to life, depends entirely how much more we come up with. They are all on the same level as slapping some ford logo's on a tank and calling it a Focus, though admittedly...thats not a bad idea considering some drivers these days.
Now for the semi non regularly scheduled update.
Life's pretty decent over all, keeping busy with work and what not. That aside my apartment's been invaded by
Blaze333 not that I'm complaining. He's house trained...I think. Other then that nothing new to report other then a growing hatred for coupons. Oh yes....those vile papery things can burn....

I completely blame him for this want....this desire I cannot sate! CURSE YOU EVIL CATFISHDOGBIRDTHING! *glares at him*
In other news....I apperantly have a severe case of the backroom blegh's form work and while its making me suck down sweet tea like theres no tomorrow it effectively killed my want to smoke which is a good thing :D I think....maybe.

At what point is it proper form a persons patience to run dry when it comes to commissions? I certainly understand and have no issues with artists taking the time they need to complete commissioned work in the order it was taken. No issue there at all.... The issue I find myself dealing with lays at the point when you've been told the art/product (that being a starbucks cup insert/and a badge. $60 & $10 respectively) is complete, paid for it in advance, then doing nothing but waiting. Its been 7 months, with little information on the peices/product at all. Now, in all fairness, the artist in question did provide a "thanks for your patience" digital badge in return for the 6 month wait and a promise to keep me in the loop about it.
That was a month ago and I find myself wondering yet again about it. Should I just let it go and forget about it, writing it off as a loss or do I say something? I'd prefer not to make a mess of it all but at this point my patience has run out and I need advice and or options. Is there some way to approach this that prevents drama and butt hurt, cuz I just want the cup and the badge. No more, no less. From working customer service on the provider side I definately think somethings a lil wonky here but again... trying to avoid stuff, so any helpful or directional advice would be much appreciated.

A number of things have changed since I last updates and most are for the better...sorta >.> I got an apartment with some peeps and Fawkes-softpaw We have alot of fun and enjoy ourselves even if said fox is a TV hog :he's forgiven cuz he's talking to 
velfred his lil woofer. This was all made possible by me finally getting a job at Walmart in the Garden Center. Most days its a fufilling job.... most days... I'm fabulous and I "frolic" amongst the flowers >.> Nah...
On another note, some of you have prolly seen the the profile updates... its now FINALLY accurate for the most part. Still some tweaking to be done. I'll eventually get around to it....maybe. Onto teh sudden art splurge. Yes... there has been a good deal of it lately. Mostly pervy and dirty. You have
Frostpaw to thank for that. Half the ideas came from convo's with him, although a few were spawned from rp's with toreg13
There's also an alternate squeeky rubbery version of myself up too. Thank toreg13 for that . Art will follow eventually when the funds are avalible. Uhm uhm hum...WOOF!

Life Updates and such
Posted 13 years agoWell... for those that know me, I was out of work for...many years and the time inbetween lead me across the country to spend some time living wiht 
unlovedcoatwearer and a mutual aquiantence. That was a nice little soujern to the cold wastes of Washington state >.<. Enjoyed my stay for the most part.
College has been going nicely for me and recently I've begun working at one of the local Wal-marts. I get to play in the flowers all day XD. Yeah, garden center is alot of fun when we're not being harrassed by management for shit we cant control. Overall I'm happy and suprisingly its not absolute horror out there. Unless a co worker begins watering....then yes, its chaos.
Moving on, The only real bad part out of the last few months is finding out my grandfather once again has cancer. The doctors believe its late or end stage already, and he's unable to receive any hard treatments due to a wrecked immune system. Thats about the only bad news out of it all.
Anywho, Most of you have noticed I've gone on a posting spree lately and I hope to be able to continue to post new art from time to time. I do have a story floating around that was a gift...not sure I wanna upload it though. Have to ask frostpaw, since he wrote it. Also...go jab him...him has good pron. :D
I suppose thats all for now...maybe I'll make another NEW and SHINEY journal later.
