No-Clip: No Wednesday this Weekly
Posted 11 years agoTo those of you who were looking forward to the conclusion of Majora's Mask this week (or to those of you who weren't looking forward but watch anyway), I'm afraid that my stream this week must be postponed again. A family situation with my workplace's night manager has led to me shifting my hours this week to help out, which means I won't be here to stream.
Depending on the way things work out this should be the last time that I'll be unable to make it to the stream. I expect I'll be back in action next Wednesday, but can't necessarily guarantee it. Stay tuned and thanks for the patience!

Wednesday Weekly: A Few Loose Ends
Posted 11 years agoSo, after the family-prompted break of last week, the Wednesday Weekly returns with what will be (I think) the second to final installment of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. We're very near the endgame, but there are still a few loose nagging threads that need to be tied up before we head to the final showdown with the Majora-infused Skull Kid, and those threads shall be my focus for tonight.
It's gonna be a good time, so come and hang with us on a stormy hump day!

Quick note for Wednesday:
Posted 11 years agoHowdy folks!
Just wanted to get out there beforehand that this week's edition of my Wednesday Weekly game stream is being postponed. There's some family in town that I haven't seen for several years and I'm rushing out right after work to meet them for dinner, which means I won't be back here in time to get things rolling.
Depending on when I DO get home, I might potentially hop onto the stream for a little bit of art or something, but I wouldn't expect it. We should be all systems go for next week, however, gearing up towards the grand finale of Majora's Mask. See you in a week!

Wednesday Weekly: No More Romance
Posted 11 years agoFinally, I finished Anju and Kafei's dang storyline! Muahahaha.
Anywho, this week it's more Majora's Mask as we continue to wind our way toward the finale. I hear that there's some extra content that comes along with collecting all of the masks, so this week I'll be working to make some progress on that. Admittedly I'm strangely exhausted today, so the stream may end a little earlier than usual if I'm feeling on the verge of passing out, but in the meantime we'll have a grand ol' time.
http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode as per usual, see you there soon!

Posted 11 years agoI'm already late for the stream itself to begin so let's make this quick!
No-Clip Wednesday Weekly! Majora's Mask! Streaming! NOW! Picking up with the second half of the Stone Temple Pilots Tower, now that I've gotten myself some snazzy light arrows and slayed the KING OF NINJAS. Woop woop, come watch!

Wednesday Weekly: My Shield's O-Face
Posted 11 years agoSorry about the lack of a journal announcement last week, if you happened to be waiting for one. I was overly-moody at the time and expected it wouldn't help to draw in audience anyway. Whether it does or not, we press onward tonight with more Majora's Mask! In last week's grumbling installment, Link made his way through an underground labyrinth full of incredibly needy Gibdos, fulfilling all of their final worldly desires in order to claim the ancient Mirror Shield at the end!
8O
...Seriously. That's the face the shield makes. I wish it didn't.
What happens next? Tune in to http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode and find out!

Wednesday Weekly: Chatty Zombies
Posted 11 years agoAnother Wednesday, another No-Clip Wednesday Weekly, and another edition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask!
Last week, I received encouragement from cash register mailboxes, beat up some surprisingly pathetic ninjas, and learned that mummies secretly covet bean sprouts. Who knew? What interesting factoids will be revealed this week as I continue figuring my way around Ikana Valley and more? Tune in and find out!
The stream begins at 8pm eastern of course, right over at http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode. Stop on by!

Wednesday Weekly Stream: Matchmaker Matchmaker
Posted 11 years agoJust a couple of minutes late, sorry about that!
Anyway, we dive back into The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask in the Wednesday Weekly. Now that we've beaten up the requisite giant fish boss and retrieved the ice arrows, it's time to see what new adventures we can uncover before trekking off to the location of the fourth major temple. In particular, I've got my eye set on a pair of troubled lovers...but that's adult stuff, you don't need to understand it.
Come on my http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode when you're ready! I'll be streaming until roughly 11 or so tonight, depending on how things go.
Also, a thunderstorm may roll through and kill me or my internet before then. Take cover!

Wednesday Weekly Stream: Turtle Surfin'
Posted 11 years agohttp://www.livestream.com/noclipmode
Another week, another edition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask! Last week, armed with 200% more bottles than before, we stormed the pirate's stronghold and finally gathered all seven of the wayward Zora eggs. Further proving that I know absolutely nothing about Zora biology, the eggs all hatched once they were gathered together and the newborn zora tadpole-things instinctively swam along the depth lines of their holding tank, treating it as a musical staff to teach a new ocarina song.
...Yeah, what.
Anyway, this week, we tackle the third of four big dungeons in the game, the Great Bay Temple. The adventure kicks off at 8!

Wednesday Weekly: Snap Crackle Cough
Posted 11 years agoNo sugar-coating here, tonight's stream is going to be a bit of a battle! I'm still in the midst of fighting off some sort of illness I picked up back on Saturday. It means that I'm not necessarily sure how long I'll manage to go before passing out, but on the bright side you all get to listen to my hilariously cracking voice in the meantime!
Anyway! In last week's edition of Majora's Mask I successfully obtained another empty bottle, which means I finally should have the tools needed to complete Operation Egg Rescue...but before that, there's still one lingering piece of unfinished business that I want to take care of first...
We'll be starting at 8 as usual! http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode

Wednesday Weekly: Quest for Booze
Posted 11 years agoAfter a hiccup last week due to a later-than-expected workday, we resume the No-Clip Wednesday Weekly with another installment of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask finally! Last time around, I made some progress through the pirate's stronghold and rescued some stolen eggs, only to learn that trying to run back and forth with only one bottle is terribly time-inefficient! The goal this week is to fix that, as I'll be searching the world for another bottle or two (and hey, if it happens to contain some liquid refreshment at the time, all the better!).
Of course, trying to find bottles when I have no idea where they are will be...interesting, but that's the joy of exploration for ya!
We begin at 8 as always, at http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode. That's in less than ten minutes! Better grab your sandwich and plunk down in front of the monitor before it's too late!

General update of things
Posted 11 years agoJust a few orders of business I felt like mentioning, in no particular order.
First, I apologize for missing out on the Wednesday Weekly stream last night. The guy that normally manages the night shift at our work called in sick late into the afternoon, so I was held up late trying to cover for part of that. I did get home earlier than expected, but by that point I'd already said to spread the word of the cancellation and I figured trying to fire the stream up 40 minutes late when nobody expected it wouldn't have gone over terribly well anyway. It's been a hell of a week for me, schedule-wise.
To make up for the lack of streaming yesterday, hopefully you can enjoy the Sierre shenanigans that I'll be posting up momentarily, which brings me to my other order of business, regarding art. I know that I've been pretty quiet lately on the posting front, and that a lot of what's been going up in my gallery of late have been commissioned works, from Glitch and Blondie primarily. For what it's worth, I HAVE still been working on drawing, but most of it lately has been character reference-related stuff that I've been trying to hold back from revealing too publicly before I have their full reference page layout together. See Sunny's bio and artist's notes pages for a look at what I mean. Each of these requires several pictures per page, and I'm still not quick enough with the pen to throw together several different poses. I'm having to work on several characters at a time in preparation for their contributions to a larger project, so if people would really like me to post some of the works-in-progress pics I can do it. Otherwise, I don't want my gallery to be known as little more than a dropping ground for Blondie art, but...well, she works a lot faster than I do and doesn't usually post most of this stuff herself. :P
I'm going to try and sneak in some non-reference stuff as well, so hopefully there will be more to look at in the coming days!

Wednesday Weekly: Learn 2 aim, noob
Posted 11 years agohttp://www.livestream.com/noclipmode
Right so! Last week's episode of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask saw us tackle a whole collection of various tasks and quests...and fail at damn near all of them. Gorons cheat at racing, Romani got abducted by aliens, and we even got to murder a fish-man so that I could wear his face and swim. Joy!
What new adventures await this week? Will I completely flub the cow protection mission again? Probably! Better tune in and find out!

Wednesday Weekly: My Little Epona
Posted 11 years agoIn last week's episode of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, we rolled around the mountain some more, realized that I had no idea what I'd been doing, defeated a mechanical goat in a game of roller-derby, and somehow broke the space-time continuum to instantly grow chickens. Could things possibly get any stranger from here? I'm sure they can, and this week we'll find out what else is laying around Termina en route to my next destination: the ocean.
We of course get started at 8pm as usual (that's soon!), and it all happens at http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode. Come on by when you can!

Wednesday Weekly: My Head
Posted 11 years agoEven more Majora's Mask adventuring in this week's edition of the No-Clip Wednesday Weekly. Episode 4 rolls in this week, in which I'm hoping to tackle the Snowhead Temple...just as soon as I figure out how to open the damn door.
The last couple of weeks I've been toying around with running the game-side of the stream longer than it's normal two-hour allotment in lieu of cutting the game off and switching over to art streams. If you guys would like this to continue, let me know! Or if there are folks out there that prefer the art/music combo to unwind, I might still do that too. Basically I'd like to adjust the format of these streams slightly to fit what people are more interested in seeing.
Either way, come on by http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode at 8 and witness much rolling and sword-slashing!

Wednesday Weekly: Filler stream?
Posted 12 years agoMother 3 was concluded last week, but unfortunately no big new pixel-art or grand reveal quite yet. I'm still working on the next new "big" game to work on, so in the meantime things will be a little more freeform for this and possibly next week's Wednesday streams.
So what is on tap? Likely a continuation of my previous "backup plan" game, Drill Dozer, followed by continuing work on the sketch that I've been making progress on in previous streams. Things will be a little more freeform tonight, so I may jump back and forth between the game and art a little bit, depending on mood. We'll see how things go!
And you will see, too, once we begin at 8. http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode as per usual!

Wednesday Weekly: Mother 3 SEASON FINALE
Posted 12 years agoIt's just as the title says, folks! Tonight, we draw the curtain on the weird, wild adventure that is Mother 3. We've ascended the tower, fought through terrible minigames and a rather large and pig-like mecha, and now we march on Porky's doorstep. If this truly is the end of the world, we'll be sure to send it off with a bang!
The timing for the rest of the stream will depend on how long it takes for me to clear out the last of M3, but once that business is settled, I'll still have a little something up my sleeve. Still, whatever the ending, we of course begin at the beginning, and that means going live at 8pm (that's in 35-ish minutes, for you non-Eastern timers). http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode, as always!

Wednesday Weekly: Oh My Pork!
Posted 12 years agoIn last week's installment of Mother 3 the team finally succeeded in pulling one of the dragon's needles, and was quickly whisked away from there and dropped into the glittering metropolis of New Pork City! This week...we begin to tear it all apart.
We're starting up tonight as soon as I finish writing this and rolling with the game until 10-ish. Whether there's an artstream after sort of depends on the audience. I don't mean that as a ploy for attention, I just happen to be extremely tired after a lengthy morning, and if only one or two people will be sticking around, I may just be better off catching some extra shuteye.
Still, hope to see you there("there" being http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode soon!

In last week's edition of the Weekly...well...things didn't go over so well. Not today! Can I overcome the major roadblock provided by the mysterious and overpowered Masked Man? Only one way to find out!
Once the gaming-side of the stream is over at 10, I'll continue to hang out and draw some stuff, too! Probably some reference work but I can never guarantee what doodles might erupt. Stop on by!

Wednesday Weekly: Read-Only mode
Posted 12 years agoWell it feels like it's been quite a while since I've properly been able to advertise a weekly stream here!
Welcome back, FA friends! The Wednesday Weekly rolls on once more, edging closer and closer to the conclusion of Mother 3. We have...what, three more needles to find? This week sees us picking up on the bottom of the sea, en route to a neighboring island where the next needle is said to sleep. Will our heroes make it there ahead of the mysteriously-masked, jetpack-toting enemy?!
After the game time is over, stick around for the postgame show, where I'll be whipping up the linework for a quick-sketch. There will be vore!
Hopefully you know it by now, but just in case, find us tonight at http://www.livestream.com/noclipmode, we'll begin at 8! That's in about nine minutes!
