Just a quick note and a couple reminders:
1) I'm on BlueSky! There, EVERY DAY, I'm offering a single $30 dollar sketch. They're CHEAP- about $45 bucks cheaper than my normal asking price- so they're fairly quick and simple. Chances are you've already seen me post a few here! If you'd like a chance, it's typically first-come first-serve, so follow me there and keep an eye out for the open invite! Generally speaking, first commenter gets the slot. All my socials and the likes are in my linktree in my bio!
2) I have some open slots on my $60 dollar tier on Patreon- about 4 open slots actually. Every month you hold that pledge, you earn a complimentary colored sketch using a character and prompt of your choice! These are usually more "staged" than my daily sketches and frequently become a lot more involved (than they should be lol).
3) Patreon will always be my most up-to-date platform! There's a lot of stuff there that has not made it to other platforms like BlueSky and FA yet, and that will continue to remain true! Typically I post things as soon as they're done on Patreon, and then they make it to other platforms about a month later, but I've got a big backlog currently so I'll be catching up all this month. If you wanna peek at the rest of my stuff a bit early, besides the $60 tier, I also have $2 and $6 dollar tiers, so come join up and help me keep the lights on and the caffeine flowing!

It's a lot shorter and simpler.
The bulk of the ToS stuff is hidden behind another link that you're not forced to engage with up-front.
There's also an Anonymous Survey you can fill out if you want to let me know how your experience working with me went, or want to let me know what you'd like to see from me in the future, but don't want to engage with me directly!
Prices are SLIGHTLY updated, but mostly the same- just simplified more than anything.
Sketches start at $50, Lines at $100, you can add Flats to either for $25, and Full Color to either for $75.
Add a character for 2.25x the base price of Sketch or Lines + color option.
5pk of Telegram Stickers for $180.
Reference Sheets start at $375 for a front/back at approximately 3/4 angle and 2 headshots.

Posted 2 years agoI'm not in any immediate danger, but my roommate and I have run into a dire financial issue, and it's gonna make it REALLY important that I not only earn rent, but also earn enough that I can help pay for food and utilities for at least a couple months, maybe longer.

Now I'm only working one job. I'll be picking up foodstamps ASAP and then get a commissions page up with examples and prices so you all know what to expect. This gives me a lot more time to work on art! Like a LOT. :)

How Boldly Furry Are You...?
Posted 12 years agoWoke up not even ten minutes ago after a strange dream.
I was still living with my parents, I was in the car with my mother, and our neighbors across the street were wearing some fursuits and having a yard sale in which they seemed to be selling just about all of their plush toys. I was allowed to go inside and see that they actually had more furry-themed items lining their walls: a few more plush toys (favorites they insisted on keeping I assume), an entire wall dedicated to hanging shelves lined with fursuit heads, framed furry art across the walls, many depicting nude anthro art and even porn in extreme cases.
One thing I noticed though over everything else was their daughter. She was in her early teens it looked, dressed completely normal, maybe a little chubby with a blonde ponytail... I immediately knew her "deal." She was unhappy- bullied and cast out of any and all social circles because of the lifestyle her parents had chosen to lead.
I know this happens. I mean, I never see furry couples who incorporate their hobby into their daily lives as well as having children, but I have seen furries, in relationships AND single, who put up furry merchandise like art and costume heads as decoration the same way that I saw in my dream. I've seen it in the media, in "selfies" around the web and more.
So I guess my question is just how BOLD are you about being a furry?
Is your group of friends so furry-exclusive that you feel comfortable covering your home with furry memorabilia, or do you have a wider variety of friends that keeps you from making such a bold statement for fear of scaring them away?
Are you as bold as to put your favorite furry porn up on the walls, framed?
If you had a child, would it change your decision at all, even if the child was going through Hell every day because of their parent's lifestyle?
A lot of furries are fairly young- do you see yourself being as dedicated as to build fursuits and go to conventions and collect the merchandise when you're older?

Doge in Need
Posted 12 years agoSo I got my monoprice tablet but I can't seem to get the pressure sensitivity to work on Photoshop or on Sai, so...
Halp anyone? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers off the CD that came with it (note, I /did/ install the drivers /before/ plugging it in) and I tried installing Wacom Intuous drivers. Neither helped.
It also feels... Slow. Like it's not moving as fast as my hand, but I think I can attribute that to the fact that the tablet is sync'd to my laptop monitor and isn't just a glorified trackpad like my old tablet. Either way, my lines are all coming out messy and gross anyway and I'm sure it's not the tablet, so what am I doing wrong here?

I don't have any fancy-pants Black Friday deals going on right now, but I can say that my monoprice tablet should be coming in on December 2nd! Whenever I can get the time, I'll try and see if I can't do an impromptu livestream or something to practice with FREE sketch requests!
For the record, I say "free" because experience tells me I'm awful at drawing directly into a digital program- I usually sketch on paper, scan the image in and line it digitally, but livestreams seem to be the popular thing to do, so... We'll see!
Just keep an eye out- I'll make note of the stream in a journal or a submission, like most people seem to do.

Inactivity, Tablet status

My tablet is on the way. Now I just need to get a scanner at some point. Hopefully I'll get used to it quick- I'm bad at drawing digitally start-to-finish but if I can manage it I might be able to do livestream sketch sessions or something!

Controversial Topic: Furry Fetishes

I've noticed it's quickly been becoming commonplace to post up imagery of castration, hardcore vore, scat and pedophilia on such websites as FA, Tumblr and e621...
... Just out of curiosity, when did this become an acceptable thing? I mean, I have my kinks and all but some of these just seem so outlandish. I've actually seen a picture of an unborn child being boned while still in the womb on e621 before. Hell, I love me some size difference between partners but straight pedophilia? And everyone's alright with it...?
To set this straight before I post this up- I'm not attacking anyone or their preferences and I'm obviously not naming names. I'm not trying to sling any mud or insult anyone. I'm just curious to know other people's opinions on the matter. To my knowledge, the furry fandom can be (and has been) a fairly innocent little community. I'm just surprised because this kind of thing used to be really looked down upon- murder, hardcore torture, cannibalism and raping children, among other things. These people used to be considered "sick" and really still are in most cultures, but they're our neighbors here in the furry fandom. Is everyone really so comfortable with that?

Bad News?
Posted 12 years agoWell, turns out I can no longer get medical coverage on part time with Office Depot; a very recent development. So there's a kick in the balls.
I'm still going to go through with finding something to replace Goodwill and I'm going to see if I'm eligible for Medicaid. Right now I'm looking into joining up with a local game shop called The Game Closet working part time. I don't think I'll get as many hours there as I would with Goodwill, so I can maybe still get some extra time to work on commissions and art. In fact, depending on how busy it is, I may even be able to dedicate some work time to sketching.
I want to leave Goodwill so bad. I want to work on commissions and make money through art. Wish me luck, everyone.
Speaking of "everyone," thanks to all of you who are still watching me and give me the occasional comment or fav. I appreciate your support. I've even had a few people come to me asking for commissions, but until I can clear out the stuff I've already got, I won't be able to take any more.

Right now I'm looking into joining up with a local game shop called The Game Closet working part time. I don't think I'll get as many hours there as I would with Goodwill, so I can maybe still get some extra time to work on commissions and art. In fact, depending on how busy it is, I may even be able to dedicate some work time to sketching.
I want to leave Goodwill so bad. I want to work on commissions and make money through art. Wish me luck, everyone.
Speaking of "everyone," thanks to all of you who are still watching me and give me the occasional comment or fav. I appreciate your support. I've even had a few people come to me asking for commissions, but until I can clear out the stuff I've already got, I won't be able to take any more.

First off, I just want to thank everyone who has decided to +Watch me for updates! I appreciate all of your support, really!
Okay, so as you all know, I am advertising $5 dollar sketch commissions... HOWEVER, I'm looking to make some big decisions in the near future.
Currently, I work two jobs both at Goodwill and at Office Depot just to pay rent and bills and feed myself. I don't get days off and I'm always exhausted, which is why I've been so inactive and have been taking so much time to get the few commissions I already have done. However, Goodwill is a terrible place to work and Office Depot can provide me with medical coverage on part time, so as soon as Office Depot gives me medical coverage I want to quit working at Goodwill and dedicate all that extra time to taking commissions.
This means that my sketch commission price would temporarily go up from $5 dollars to $7+ dollars in order to help pay for rent and such as supplementary income. On top of that, I desperately need the funds to pay for a scanner and a drawing tablet so that I may provide you all with a higher standard of art than what is available to me now.
So now more than ever, I'm relying on all of you! Follow me here! Follow me on Tumblr! Commission me as soon as I open them back up, and help me get that scanner and that drawing tablet so I can really start turning my art into a real source of income! Anything extra that you'd be willing to donate on top of the usual sketch commission price would be highly appreciated!

Active and Accepting Commissions!

I know I've been letting this account collect dust for a while now, but I'm finally ready to start posting art and accepting commissions!
Be sure to also follow me on Tumblr and DeviantArt- the content differs between each site based on what I feel comfortable posting where. For instance, this is pretty likely to be the only site where you'll see anything smutty from me! Tumblr and DeviantArt will remain clean. :)
I'm currently trying to save up money for a new tablet and a new scanner. I don't own a scanner of my own, leaving me high and dry now that I've moved out into my own apartment, and my old tablet seems to have finally taken a crap on me, so I need some new hardware before I can start doing colored or lined pieces!
Sketch Commissions start at $5 U.S. Dollars a pop, and may go up depending on the number of characters involved and the complexity of the commission. I make multiple sketches before the final product to get a quick feel for the character and ensure the depiction is accurate, which you may also receive for an additional fee.

I'd just like to say... I'm sorry for not updating yet! I'm a little bogged down by life and the fact that my router exploded; not literally, but figuratively. Basically, I'm stealing someone else's internet right now (thank goodness for unsecured networks) and I have no idea whose it is, but I am glad they live as close as they apparently do to give me these measly two bars of INTERNETS.
Anyway, I have art, I promise, and it's on the way, but until then, it's gonna be slow. I used to do anthro stuff pretty much exclusively, but quickly realized that was a bad idea, so I'm juggling several subjects at a time, as well as attempting to develop a variety of characters... A very wide variety. That's what I do. I design characters. It is my job.
All I can say right now, really, is... Expect lots of sketches.
