It's been a long time
Posted 3 years agoI'm on the way back to normalcy, and I've been holding on to a lot of art. I thought it was best to hold onto them and eventually upload with stories attached as I always do. However I've got some that are six years old and it's finally dawned on me that I need to share these first and add stories to them later. Not to hold onto them, but to share them about. They should be uploaded one every day for just under two weeks.

We're in the next year/decade, the first one that I'm going to be starting and finishing, hopefully, as a writer of explicit and sometimes interesting pieces of work that you drop your pants or open your brain for. That said, both of these things require me to be funded, and with my bank account wishing to be six dollars rich, I've bitten the bullet as so many others have and I've released my Patreon that you can find by going over to here https://www.patreon.com/solidness where you'll get access to a private discord where things are released well before they see the public eye, and that's mostly because of my terrible habit of forgetting to upload stuff. So I can get to a few of my commissioners I'm going to take the painful step of confirming whether the first few people in the queue would still like their slots, otherwise I'll start hammering these out real quick.
Otherwise, things are expensive in Canada, but I can't leave my job for a better one until my PR comes through (thinking April to June), after which I'm actually free to negotiate my position! Currently a mere corporate AV tech, I'm hoping to get into the film unions around here, starting as AV (not in the butt) for them and working my way up to writer/director so that the things in my head can be MOVIES and SHOWS. Hooboy, that'll be interesting.

It's been more than two years since my last journal, and with the slow upload rate through all of 2018 and most of 2019, you might have the idea that I've left fA for greener pastures. I'd be lying if I said I was 100% excited to upload stuff to here anymore. It's not just the low views/comments I get on stories that would take me weeks and months to finish, but the site's been going down more recently, and with the only alternative being twitter we're caught between a site from the early 00's and an occasional draconian system of laws being applied that needs unerring commonality to get any sort of traction.
I might just stay here, but there needs to be a copy of FimFic but for furry stuff, my concern is that 'furry' has no canon to follow. But then again Fimfic didn't adhere to it either, yet there was something to ignore rather than nothing to reference. Anyway, my mumblings aside, there's good news on my end! This 'eye' has managed to find himself a girlfriend since the last post and is moving in with her! The real litmus test was when she saw me scrolling through a chat and saw pictures of Serrera on there. Moment of tension, before she says she's a furry as well, so now our porn will litter the walls!
Commissions are starting to be burned through, I've picked up some motivation and I'm tackling them rather than working on my own projects, I'd like to get another 3-4 out before the end of the year and hit 2020 on a marathon pace. What's kept me back is actually practice in another medium. As a young me, I read CYOA books. About a year ago, I picked up Twine. You'll maybe see those results soon.

There was a journal intended for September that was planned to bridge the gaps and provide at least some content for you guys so it doesn't look like I'm in as much of a procrastination hole as I actually am. That journal never happened because I was far too caught up in work to actually do anything for it, so the number of uploads kind of sunk to zero for quite a while. It's entirely my fault; there was plenty of time for me to actually sit my ass down and, not only do some writing, but some journals and commissions and all that. Perhaps it's just me and my drive to complete anything any more, even though my last commission for Thetral managed to create an actual discussion in some internet comments, a feat that's quite unheard of, I haven't had the impulsion to sit down and actually type away at some of my more prolonged commissioners who are still waiting so patiently after all this time. Previous me was at least smart about when he would decided to take money, as currently no one is owed any sort of refund or I indebted towards them. That doesn't mean they don't have some reason to be impatient after all this time.
But they may have to wait some more. As I write this it is a Sunday night and this is day three of my days off with one given extra for me to recuperate after doing 130h in two weeks, missing one entire weekend for work and generally having only one day off between the 11th and the 28th. It's lucky that my managers continue to be extraordinarily compassionate, and 'forced' me to take some time off so I don't fall asleep at the wheel. The industry I'm in requires a lot of hours for about a quarter of the year every six-or-so months, which means that from now until mid-December I probably won't be having too much of that precious free-time, a certain commodity that I ignored when I had it and now long for it when I don't. so let it be a lesson to you; my addiction is the internet and once I disconnect from it I become a productive horse/human-being. Recognise what steals you away from action and isolate it. Even so little as disconnecting your phone/laptop will help in unfathomable ways.
On an unrelated note I've become quite interested in physical modelling. Not of myself! Clay sculptures and miniature modelling that people do for stop-motion and figurines. I think it would be incredibly cool to start practising that so I can bring my characters out of my imagination (and yours) and put them into the real, physical world. I went to a hobby shop but couldn't find the exact kind of clay that was recommended so I think I'll just get it off of Amazon instead. Once I move out and into my own place from next year on I'll make a start on it, getting legs and arms and torsos down. It would be a practical art-skill to supplement my writing and audiowork to make me all the more talented. Now if only I had the pressure to make me do it.

The quiet phase of my uploads for the year has begun, which means that the balance of life and work is a little skewed against my favour at the moment. From nothing in April and the beginning of May at about 10 hours a week I've been catapulted into what I would consider ridiculous work and I seem to be doing 45h and 6 of 7 days per week as well, including a Monday to next-Wednesday chain of work that finished with 16h in one day. I'm guessing a few of you have had this happen to you as well, and if it's a regular part of your workload then I empathize and I'll tell you right now to go and get some sleep. Do it. Sleep.

caudle has been with me since Tuesday, I mean America Day, I mean airborne explosion day, the 4th, and will be kicked out on the 19th. He and I have been good friends for about four years at this point and haven't had the chance to meet since I've been in the UK and flights to and from there are four-figures even if you plan far ahead. Now that I'm in Canada that price thankfully dropped and we decided to actually meet, which we agreed never to do, so I have the bat/rat/cat/ guy and he's stopping me from writing as well.
Once he's buggered off back to Florida, then I'll get back to work on my commissions and resume uploading stuff because, hell, I absolutely need to get started again. People have been waiting for a year and I'm shocked they haven't lynched me for that. I am and continued to be utterly appreciative of the patience for which my commissoners present for me.

In the two months that have passed since my last journal, I have somehow managed to pick up a part-time job. Then I picked up another one. Then I picked up a third. So now I have more jobs than I've ever had before, and I'm trying to juggle the hours that I give to them because I don't want to lose this precious gift.
Thankfully, this doesn't mean that I'm going to stop as I feel I see a lot of people jump ship whenever a job shows up which is pretty understandable. But I'm chained to this place of sin and horse-cock so I guess I'm staying around. Perhaps with a job(s) then it'll give my day more schedule which means I can put writing in more rigidly. When there's no schedule you find that doing nothing is easy since you weren't supposed to do anything anyway. But with my time being taken, I have to balance it more effectively which should mean some more writing. "Should" being the keyword there. You know me, you watch me and I'm nothing if not predictable.
Secretly I have obtained quite a few more picture commissions as well, so those are in the pipeline and I will be writing something up for them when it is their turn. Two characters are getting a 5-part series based upon a game, I did my own colouring on one again, and several lesser-focused characters are receiving more attention. They had better, or else they'll die off and I certainly don't want any of that. You folks may see some more 'taurs and some more...stuff? Let's be hopeful. It'll all be big-ladies and small-dudes so if that's what you're here for you'll not be wanting except for a quicker upload speed. Ha.
On a different topic, I've found that I can't upload .docx files to fA any longer, the last two have been .pdf's instead which do work. Is there some sort of change with fA that I wasn't aware of because they say that they can still take .docx and .doc files but then it says the files aren't accepted. Bunch of buggers.
Here's a question then,
"How do you most often view my stories? Do you use the gDoc links, do you download the story to your device? Did you know there were gDoc links or that I don't just upload little snippets instead of the full thing?"
That's all for now, I am doing pretty well and hope that I can acquire myself a car pretty soon. This town's too big to be taking the bus everywhere.

Posted 9 years agoA new record, six whole months between journal updates you probably thought I had died and gone to femdom heaven. Sadly for you and especially for me, I am indeed still here. Here at a keyboard is still the same, but not here at where I used to be. I used to be in a small town in Southern Wales where it was eternally cloudy and endlessly raining. My job there was merely delivery of an italian disk-shaped piece of food, and while it was ok it was never a permanent solution. Merely a way to build up some cash and spend it on sneks and hips. I still have some of it left if you can believe that.
What I can't believe is how my discipline has failed me. Continuously I've not been able to rouse myself into a state where I sit my ass down and type away at things for hours and hours at a time to those people who are being very patient but nonetheless standing over my shoulder and wondering why I am not writing for them. New year new...try I suppose. I have a little schedule for the way I'm going to do things, and sticking to it is supremely difficult. The gym still works the same but these fingers just don't have it in them any more. Not that I'm giving up, quite the opposite I still have things to do. For you, for myself, and for someone I always have a project or so in the works. I just look away from it as its easier than tackling the whole thing.
Six months ago I moved. Out of my chair, out of a family house, and across the big pond that many people tend to call the Atlantic Ocean. Almost exactly half a year ago, I shifted myself from that little down in Cymraeg, and went to join other family in the great, white north. That's right, eh, I've been in Alberta, Canada since early July. Rodeos, deep-fried everything, poutine by the truckload, and snow by the foot. I've gotta admit it's not exactly terrible here. I kinda like it. But on Wednesday I have to take a flight...to Seattle. Three hours later I take another flight back to where I am, where I'll be given a work permit and I'll be capable of actually working again. And in a field that I trained in! Superb.
Now I just have to lose my winter weight and I'll be as happy as can be. I just need a 12ft tall girl with headcrushing thighs or a naga who needs to stay warm in Alberta's four/five month long winters. It's nice, eh?

My utter thanks for your patience, some of you have been waiting over a year and to my lazy arse it's felt like nothing. Awful of me, maybe a job wil focus me better. I also have a certain serpentine distraction, who pesters me and I eagerly obey.
What will the next four weeks bring us? February will tell.

I have not done one of these for three months.
I should do more of them.
So perhaps some pretty exciting news for me, is that in the next week or so, I will be uprooting from my home here in WALES, and moving to the vast and mostly empty country of CANADA. But where in CANADA? Well, you'll have to come looking. You may as well start now, since it is quite a huge place. For a minimum, I'm moving for at least six months, with the possibility for about six years, and perhaps permanently. Job hunts and searches will be mandatory, though since they seem quite adamant to not let me have anything, I've gotta finagle my way into some dosh.
That means, and it's a very good thing for you guys, that I'll be putting most of my time and effort when I'm there into writing! I take USD anyway, so that may change to CAD, or I might just take a minor hit on transfer costs. So stories of all types will come out a lot faster, and my queue might get finished before the heat death of the universe. Otherwise, not much to say really. Still getting commissions, both artwise from others, and interested people who I all have to collectively thank for their supreme patience, not least of all zurg_101 for relentlessly reminding me (as I told to him to do) to do his story before I go.

I have not done one of these for three months.
I should do more of them.
So perhaps some pretty exciting news for me, is that in the next week or so, I will be uprooting from my home here in WALES, and moving to the vast and mostly empty country of CANADA. But where in CANADA? Well, you'll have to come looking. You may as well start now, since it is quite a huge place. For a minimum, I'm moving for at least six months, with the possibility for about six years, and perhaps permanently. Job hunts and searches will be mandatory, though since they seem quite adamant to not let me have anything, I've gotta finagle my way into some dosh.
That means, and it's a very good thing for you guys, that I'll be putting most of my time and effort when I'm there into writing! I take USD anyway, so that may change to CAD, or I might just take a minor hit on transfer costs. So stories of all types will come out a lot faster, and my queue might get finished before the heat death of the universe. So, what's been happening to me since...December, which was the last time I actually posted one of these journals. Personally, I lost about 3kg, and I've been hitting the gym more and more recently. But Solid/Jimmy where are the stories? You haven't uploaded stories for this gallery for a good several months, and that's no good. Well, that is true, I haven't done any large, proper stories for a long time. But there is a reason! I have still been writing, partly for a very long, very detailed fic that has been done and is being edited. It's the longest fic I've ever done, you'll get to see it soon. And partly for the picfics that I do as well. Those are much shorter, and always are beneath the commissions that I get. Some good stuff goes there, and I use those for situation and character practise, a little personification and trial. It's all good practise, but c'mon, I'm so good I don't need practise any more. What with my ego and all, I cannot get any better.
On the topic of practise, I've gotten several notes in the past few weeks from people regarding my sheer talent, and whether I shall descend to rub my knowledgeful beard upon their cheek (I shave regularly) which with impart my accrued skills upon them. Fear not, those two people who noted me, as I am going to draft up a big ol' WRITING TUTORIAL that will become an upload in the future. My talent cannot be matched, but an imperfect copy is still good enough. For now, I shall say words, and you can deliberate on them:

I've also kinda...lost my job, so the pictures will stop coming in, and the financial issues from this are going to put me out of commission for a good couple of weeks. Birthday, December and Things

It's been a while. 5 months in fact since I put out my last journal, back in July. Since then, uploads and stuff on this page has absolutely ground to a halt. I used to upload stuff on a regular basis, several times a month in fact, but now you're lucky to get one thing a month, maybe even less than that. It feels like I've sort of abandoned you all, while all that's happened is that I've been incredibly lazy and neglectful, of both my art, my stories and other things.
I'm still working on stories, but my goal of 1,000 words a day is more like 100 words average a day, since I have 1-2 days a week where I actually hit that. So people in my queue, or people whose fics I am writing at the moment, I'm not ignoring you, I'm not stealing your money (the money is pretty much negligible compared to my job, more on that later), I'm just being super bad at writing, and I should be doing it, but I don't. All I can ask for is patience of several months on your end...please?
In real life, several neat things have happened to me since my last journal. I've graduated with a 2:2 with a BSc in Audio Engineering, which consumed the first six months of this year, which is slightly responsible for my absence. It hasn't yet led to a job in my chosen field, but I'm biding my time in a part-time job where I'm hitting about 30h a week. Since this is the UK, that means a pretty decent income, which I can spend on porny pictures of my many porny characters! I have about...six pictures left in my backlog to post, and about four on the way from several neato artists. Since I like to put my own touch on stuff, that's at least a 500 word story on each one. And I'm slow on the writing :(
Also it's my birthday, so I'm 22 now. Maybe you were thinking such excellent stories came from a much older human being. But my wisdom, talent, and ability to be humble is beyond my years. I also have the writing speed of a 65 year old man who's trying to cross the street.
That puts an end to this journal, so after this there's just going to be a list of what I'm doing/writing/waiting for:

It's been a while. 3 months to be precise. I said I was going to upload lots of pictures and stories, but then I didn't. Oops. My bad.
But really, the reason I didn't is because I am incredibly super lazy. I've also had to complete my final year of university (results pending) which took quite a bit of my time away from actually writing. As you can probably tell, I've been very lax on uploading content for you guys this year, both story-wise and picture-wise. But I pay for everything, and you don't. Please give me popularity and buy fics from me.
Since I'm post university now, I'm supposed to be writing stuff, so you might see a few more being uploaded. I'm still slow, and sometimes there are errors, so don't get too angry. I have...11-12 pictures to upload and write little stories for, included some I got at the start of the year, which was over six months ago! I blame my laziness. You probably blame it as well.
But the Dick Machine? What is the DICK machine? It is something of greatness that I, as a monster girl fan, have been waiting for since my first taste of the fandom in 2008. A harem SOL manga by Okayado found here http://mangapark.me/manga/monster-m.....o-iru-nichijou has, as of today, FINALLY been turned into a fully-fledged anime, available for watch on CrunchyRoll (that's how I do it, no bully pls).
There's only one episode at the moment (released today) and more will be aired week-by-week on a Tuesday! Below are just a few clips I took while watching, and it's something I'm more than interested in!

Here's the time of the month where I say something along the lines of "I promise I'll upload more stuff for you guys so it's not one piece a month." Then the rest of the month happens and I forget. I'm always here, but I just don't have the feeling to upload stuff. You can see that I've got quite a few things to upload, but that means I gotta write a story for each one, since you guys pretty much expect it by now.
Hopefully I can pretty soon start putting those out, but don't be too surprised if the same thing happens this month and I say the same thing next month. Writing itself has also slowed pretty much to a crawl despite the fact that I have a commission that I've nearly finished and one that's just sitting in the pipeline until someone gets their fingers out of their ass and start typing (no names).
I'm in the final year of uni (already, wow) and so it will be taking precedence, sadly. I'll still get around to typing out the odd piece of smut here or there, but releasing stuff will be slowed down EVEN further than it already has been, which is saying quite a bit, knowing me.
Also on the plus-side, I passed 15,000 hits a few days back, putting me right on track to hit double that by this time next year, or even by the end of this year. Uploading stuff is probably going to be the easiest part, but it's writing lots that's a drag at the moment. By no means do I dislike it, but trying to pump out five-figures of words while tackling uni stuff ain't doing me so fine. But yeah, thanks for 15k everyone, I'll try to make all 570~ of you happy sooner or later. I'd do a poll too, but I think only about 2-3 of you actually answer it, so eh.

I missed January, my bad.
I guess I'm one of the more boring people to follow, seeing as I rarely make even monthly journals and stuff. I don't even have problems that others have, financial or otherwise, at least not until July when my contract for this uni room finishes.
I've been particularly lax on uploading stuff since about November despite the fact I have two fics finished and many pictures to write descriptions for. Probably tomorrow I'll start seeing as I'm mostly finished for uni work now until about March or April. I can hopefully, but no promises, release and write fics a bit faster now.
This year I've made a promise not to spend more money than I earn, so you might see pictures coming out a little bit slower, or at least as slow as I can make the money for them. That's right, I'm not dead! The last month was October, so I guess that would be appropriate.
No, I caught myself in a little of a productive funk where it was impossible more me to get out more than 5 words in a single day, no matter how much I tried. Even then, I managed to finish off two stories since the last one, which I'll be posting over the next few days along with a few pieces of commissioned art that I've been keeping a secret from you after all this time.
So you can relax...for a bit. I've started up my final year of uni, so work is almost immediate and overbearing, so even though I'll post art, stories are going to be a little more of a rarity from here on out. I noticed my gallery was becoming mostly art after I got a rush of Arianna and pictures started to become the majority. Phew, I wish fA had a system to separate them into stories and pictures, they could be called "folders".
But minor issues aside, I am still alive and I've diversified a bit. My original success was from my naga pictures and stories back in March-June. Nala's gone a bit neglected since then, without a single thing to her name and my lizard's taken the whole spotlight. But after the picture that I'll post just after this journal, she'll be retired for a bit (all the travelling was making her slimmer, and that can't happen) and I'll focus on my more serpentine characters. There is a Nala pic that'll probably be posted tomorrow (Tuesday 4th) and perhaps three more if I can persuade an artist to finish the art I paid for back in August.
Three more characters will be joining my ranks quite soon, two of whom have some nice art to start and are about to have a bit more, while another has a bit from TacoKurt, but a delicious picture and a comic coming quite "soon". Make sure to welcome them, as I may be writing things about them soon enough.
That's all for this month, see you again in December where there'll only be a month left until I've been here for a whole year (account was inactive before January 1st 2014).

September and a question

This should've gone up about two weeks ago at the start of the month, but I've messed that up because I've been busy with a little bit of work. That's also cut into my ability to write without interruption, which doesn't help the fact that I really have lost the desire to write anything at the moment. It might be that I've grown lazy, but it might be the fact that my room doesn't drop below 25c (77f) and so I'm sweating 24/7 in this chair of mine. I'll probably try to start up writing again from the weekend before uni starts again on the 29th.
There'll be a new character arriving sometime this month, maybe sometime later or some time when the artist frees up. The deal with this is to be a little more feral rather than the anthro/human characters I have at the moment. There's already been a sketch from tacokurt that you can find here. It's just a sketch though, so a later clean image will be a lot nicer.
But aside from that I've also got a question for you guys. I'm a writer mainly, and so most of these pictures that I commission are to flesh out and to act as enhancers for the stories that I should be writing. So I'm asking to see what people are following me for? Is it because of the pictures I get, the stories I write, a little bit of both?

August Commissions and 5000 hits!

It's August now (or will be), so this is another reminder to those who enjoyed my stories that you can get your own. All you gotta do is send me a note and I'll get back to you as soon as I can, probably within about 8h if you manage to get me as I sleep. My snake/serpent/naga stories seem to be the most liked, so I might be doing something along those lines soon.
I've got something special in the works that I've been doing since I uploaded this commission. It's not a video, and it's not a song, but it is something audio related. Get some good headphones and wait for it. I promise it'll be as wet and glistening as I dare. But it's more of an experiment than a replacement or addition. If you guys actually enjoy it, then I might consider doing it a little more. Only time will tell.
As for writing, I might take a little break, no longer than a week, then I'll get right back into the thick of it come August. I've already got two/three in the queue, hopefully more to come.

I am a fetish writer more than a R34 kinda guy with several characters that cover some of the more popular fetishes around town.
In the future I'll do a few more if people are interested and want me to write them.

I can then work out what you want and how long (in words) you want it.
Writing commissions are different than art.
You can set a rough word count (ideally above 5k) and I can try to match that, but I might go over (never under), at which point it becomes contentious;
Do I charge you extra for a significant amount over the limit, is it my fault if you've given me too much to work with, should I cut the story short to fit in that limit? It's more difficult than art, especially since a good, long story takes longer than a piece of art to complete.
If you have any questions about what kind of content I'll do, feel free to ask, or take a look at my gallery and favourites to try and pin me down, although asking would be much faster.

Like the title says, I'm away for May doing work for Uni, so there won't be any fics this month from me, but I'll be right back into it when June comes around.

Woke up this morning to see that I've passed 2000 hits on my page since I started submitting pictures and stories only three months ago.
At this rate, I'll hit roughly 12k by the end of the year, but hopefully after continual fics for you silent guys that number will be reached much earlier.
With more popularity comes more content, and with more content comes more fetishes that you guys may or may not have in image and text form.
Christ, I wish that fA would update their story viewer so I don't have to keep linking you guys to gDocs or ask you to download it. But it doesn't look like anything will happen soon, so you'll just have to grin and bear it like I do.
If you're interested, I also have a SoFurry account but there's no exclusivity for following me there as well.
In fact I don't upload my commissioned art there, so you'll be missing out. Yes, I know most of you follow me for the art, but if I can just ask that you take five minutes of your day to comment on one of the numerous stories I post, then it'll make it seem a little less like no one cares about them.

If you want you can pay 1/2 to secure and 1/2 before publishing.
