An Absence
Posted a year agoI really try to impress upon people that I'm always working on something, so if I don't post anything for a while, it's just because I'm still toiling away at something, not because I'm “gone.”
These past few months have been the first exception to that.
I have no intention of boring with details, but health issues have made drawing difficult or uncomfortable for the past while. None of these ailments are the kind to be permanent, so I hope to resume work here some weeks or months from now. Until then, this silence is unfortunately a real one that I have nothing to show for, not a sign that I'm working on some big thing.
I usually prefer to keep the focus on what I create rather than on myself here, so this does feel a bit odd, but I'd rather be transparent about not working on things (and maybe point out that being physically prevented from drawing is what it took for me to stop).
In the very worst case, I'll eventually seek out some other way of producing whatever variety of porn, but I intend to resume work one way or another eventually.

Where else to find me
Posted 9 years agoSomebody recently pointing out that they wouldn't have any real way of picking up the pieces if anything happened to FA made me realize that being on only one site was probably a bad idea. So, just for the sake of people knowing, here are the other places I've set up shop, complete with (almost) my entire gallery, and where I'll continue submitting art alongside FA:
Inkbunny
Basically, I'm just on Weasyl and Inkbunny with the same name (edit four years later - nevermind Weasyl). Now you know if anything dumb happens, though.

Winners of the Raffle
Posted 10 years agoI kind of didn't expect to be made sad by the realization that so many people weren't chosen (as obvious as that should have been), but that sadness can't really change things. So, we have our winners, chosen by the ever-convenient random.org:
ZoruaUroz
too-lazy
Khalimar
I'll send notes to the three of them momentarily involving questions in regards to what they want going on in their part and how the sequencing should go.
Many thanks to everyone that entered, though - it's fun to get some kind of actual audience participation, and you made a difference whether you won or not.
Finally, once all the technical stuff is worked out, I'll take the usual eternity to submit them. I don't know if they'll all be submitted in a row, but the next addition to my gallery will be of one of the raffle winners.

Time for a raffle, I guess?
Posted 10 years agoWell, with the introduction of my new character, I figured I could do something special with her. I don't really plan on using her like I do the others, and that'll probably become evident soon enough.
So here's what's being raffled off:
I've figured I should start off with Vi doing what she probably does best: being stuffed with cum. Of course, being a character of mine, you may be able to guess how that'll end. If not, I'll just put it bluntly: she's going to be filled until she bursts (and if you're unfamiliar with my art, this is how I draw popping; not unpleasant gore stuff or anything). This will, however, be in multiple parts (how many depends on how confident I feel and how many people apply), filling her up more and more until the climax, meaning that there are multiple slots available.
As for applying...
I only ask for one thing: give some kind of reference for your character in your comment. I really can't just draw something without having seen it, unfortunately, so it won't work out if you can't provide that. Of course, the character does have to be yours, and I don't really plan on using copyrighted characters either (seeing as how this is a viewer-interaction thing). I'm going to plan to draw winners in a few days, maybe Thursday, but it'll depend on how many people I get entering.
That's all I'll require, but I also wouldn't mind being given an idea or two for future ideas for raffles involving Vi (something pregnancy-related, for example).
If you're chosen...
I'll send you a note and explain a thing or two. This is what I'll say to expect, though: I'll probably ask you what you'd want to see in the image, both in terms of what your character is doing and how Violet is reacting. I won't promise that I'll agree to everything you ask for, but this will also help me decide something else: who goes in what order, as Vi will of course be closer to bursting with every image, which will definitely affect how she reacts (and it'd be best if I can match up how the winners want her to react with how far along the series is). I'd recommend not applying if you're adverse to bursting, because I'd have a problem if everybody selected didn't want to pop her themselves, but I also need anybody applying to understand that there's a good chance they won't have the honour of making her burst, either. This is likely what the majority of any notes I send back and forth with winners will be about.
Anyways, I'm only so sure about how well this will all work out, but I think it'll be nice if it does. I don't know how often I'll do these if I like them, or even necessarily what I'll raffle off in the future (I don't plan on raffling off stuff that doesn't involve Violet, but once again, I'm happy to hear suggestions for future raffle themes), but I guess I might as well try it out this one time.

In regards to the whole "streaming" thing...
Posted 11 years agoWell, even if I only had two viewers the whole time (it was kinda late anyways), everything seemed to go well last night. I only got five hours of sleep afterwards, but oh well.
As for how much it'll happen, that'll probably depend on how often I get around to finishing up lineart on my works. I don't want to do the lineart on a stream, since that's incredibly tedious and I can't bring myself to do that for hours, but things might be different if I started actually sketching my works on paper beforehand...
I'll probably stick to doing these later on in the evening, but that may vary - I'll have to try some stuff out. Future streams will be higher quality than the last, by the way, as I realized that I had the stream quality on the second-lowest setting >_>

Pondering trying out streaming...
Posted 11 years agoWell, I've been getting into streams more and more as of late, and I figured that I could give it a go myself. I have everything set up already, but I suppose I might as well ask: how many of you would actually be interested in that? I wouldn't expect many people at all (less than ten), but I'd want at least some company, since that's kind of the point.
New computer acquired, art should resume shortly
Posted 11 years agoWell, I got my hands on a new laptop (finally), so things should return to how they once were soon enough. I won't get around to any more art tonight, but I'll probably get things going again tomorrow. I can't promise that anything will be posted tomorrow, but rest assured that I'll be working on it. It shouldn't be long before my next submission pops up in your inbox.
No art for a week or so, and future plans
Posted 11 years agoWell, this isn't the most fun of subjects for my first journal.
Long story short, I've fucked over my laptop's video card (due to heat damage caused by a shitload of dog hair getting in the fan, I'm sure), and my monitor goes seizure-inducing at the slightest provocation, meaning that the most resource-intensive thing that I can do at the moment is watch YouTube videos. I can't run Photoshop, which means that I can't work on drawing anything at the moment. I'm looking for a new laptop now, and believe that I've found something nice, but I don't know when I'll be able to get around to actually buying it (or when it'll ship over here). I'll get things set up again as soon as I can, but those waiting on requests will simply have to wait for the time being. I'm guessing that this will take about a week, but that depends on how long it takes to ship. I've been wanting a new laptop for a while, though, since this one has so many issues with overheating, so I'm pretty prepared for this and definitely plan on taking better care of the new one (keeping it in relative hair-free zones, not letting clumsy-as-hell people handle it and somehow knock the goddamn AC jack out of the computer after dropping it).
That having been said, though, I do feel that I should take the chance to share some of what I plan on drawing in the future. I'm not going to say exactly what I'm drawing, but I'll give you a good idea. I currently have eleven things planned:
Request for friend of a friend
No Such Thing As Too Many
Request for TanyaKapton
No Such Thing As Too Many
Other request for friend of a friend (might not happen)
No Such Thing As Too Many
Request for shadowwolfdragon12 (pt 1)
Something involving myself and Lebri (that most of you will likely enjoy)
Request for shadowwolfdragon12 (pt 2)
Possible goo girl stuff
Request for shadowwolfdragon12 (pt 3)
As you can probably tell, I kind of have a lot on my plate at the moment. I'll probably take a short break from doing any series stuff, and the same goes for requests. I do like doing requests, but I'd like to be able to decide what to draw next, as well. This whole thing might be subject to change, but I thought that I might as well show you guys that I have things planned in the future. I'll get back to working on this stuff from the top down once I have everything sorted out with the new computer, but I can't promise when that will be. I'll try to keep my focus on inflation stuff, though, since that was why I got into drawing stuff here in the first place. It always feels weird drawing anything else.
