Broken glasses and pet peeves on Skype
Posted 11 years agoWelp, my glasses are broken, so I can't see much of anything. Yeah, I don't even know why I went to the eye glass shop for a new frame, if they were just gonna try and make a quick fix with my current frame....only for that same frame to break less than a YEAR LATER. And what's worse is that I found a potential job and it the position my mom worked, so I would have no problem with her training me in the area, but since I won't be able to see that clearly on what to even do, I'm a little frustrated about it. Not gonna lie, I want to throw the prick who made me have to get a "fix" for my old frame and throw him / her under a bus.
On a different note, I'll say this about my Skype. I do happen to have a few pet peeves in regard to chatting / RPing with others. It's nothing personal, but I will literally just try backing out or cease talking if this kind of stuff gets brought up during the conversation
Sexual moments (I don't like having this brought up. Nothing that involves penises, boner, boobs, vaginas or cleavage. None of that.....EVER)
Politics (Politics are boring and complicated to me, so I never get into them ever)
Gender Changes (Not a big fan of that at all. Changing different species, that's okay (considering that I do), but different genders? Um....No thanks. And yes. I am also one of those people that doesn't get how an animal can even have human breasts. I just find that unbelievable)
Unbirthing or anything of the sort (NEVER. EVER. NO. JUST.....NO!!!!)
Things that I AM alright with talking about, on the other hand...
Vore (I'm okay with that, as long as it can be used in a cartoonish style. Vore is an element in cartoons and when done right, can be extremely funny)
Fatfur and Inflation (Same reason and same exception. Those elements are shown frequently in cartoons and can make moments pretty hilarious. So, I don't mind)
Macro / Micro (Again, same reason and same exception)
Cartoon physics (YES PLEASE!)
Violence (.....Okay)
So yeah, those are things I can or can't accept when talking or RPing with someone on Skype. I might as well have brought all this up sooner, I'm sorry I didn't.
And although off topic, the PMU wifi tournament is still being held. There are only a few more matches to get and the finals will commence.
Also, the reasons why I haven't been uploading the requests is because I wanted to take a break from all the requests I keep getting and that they are getting somewhat more tedious to work on, since every time I complete one Art request, another one pops up out of nowhere. This doesn't exactly give me enough availability to draw what I want, when I come up with an idea unless I momentarily ignore the request, which seems like a bit of a jerk move. So after these last few Art Requests I'm actually going to contemplate on taking any more or stopping completely.

Tournament is ongoing! (Revenge Rounds have begun)
Posted 11 years agoI want to say thank you, to all who have registered for this event. And that no matter who wins, it's important to try your best and have no regrets. Before I post the Bracket of players will be competing, a follow up on the rules, as well as other information that I had to address during the time before the tournament.
Rules
For the Preliminary Round, it'll be a series of 3 on 3 Single Battles, nothing too big. For the 2nd and 3rd Rounds we'll have 4 on 4 Double Battles. Finally from the 4th Round onward, it'll be straight-up 6 on 6 Single battles. These battles will all be set by the Normal Rules set, allowing for all Pokémon to become Lv. 50, while removing the need for a Level Cap. During the First Round only a Sleep Clause will be in effect, with a maximum of only 2 Pokémon being asleep at a time. Tiers will also not play a key role in this Wifi Tournament. With that said, you are free to use any Pokémon you wish EXCEPT Legendary Pokémon. Also, Mega Evolutions are allowed.
I shouldn't have to mention this, considering how obvious it is, but, you must have a copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y to attend this tournament. No other Pokémon games, just X or Y.
All Legendary Pokémon are banned from the tournament. And yes, that includes Phione, Manaphy, Mew, Victini, Celebi, Jirachi Meloetta and Shaymin. However, Event Pokémon such as the Event Garchomp, or the Event Torchic are allowed. All Pokémon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos are allowed (But again, no Legendary Pokémon, so be sure to keep that in mind).
It is highly recommended that you save a replay of each battle you win in the tournament and upload it, sending in the Replay code via PM or over Skype . Not only is this prime evidence of you winning the battle, but I also plan to make a montage with the footage (Which might be difficult since the only recording device I have is my cell phone, but I should manage.)
Prizes
First Place Prize will be a drawn picture of 6 of the Pokémon you participated with and a choice of a Starter Pokémon set from either Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or Unova. The Runner-Up will receive their choice of a Starter Pokémon set from either Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh. And the Third Place winners will also receive a Starter Pokémon set, but from either Johto or Hoenn.
F.A.Q.:

Posted 11 years agoOver the course of the tournament, a Skype chat group will be started up, to allow combatants to schedule a match during the rounds or interact with each other. If you want to join the Skype group, just look me up on Skype, ask to join the Group Chat and I'll put you in. I know there might be a few others who might not want to, or can't use Skype, and in that case, I'll have to get in touch with them in the same way I have before.

No RP'ing that includes Vore, WG or any other fetishes. There WILL be some people competing that don't really like that kind of stuff and the last thing I want to see is a dispute being brought out due to someone doing some sort of RP that made other people uncomfortable.
Do NOT leave your Battle Replay codes on that Chatroom. In a Skype Group Chat, text can easily be overlooked, depending on how many people are on at the same time. Be best to leave on the page the submission for the rules was put on, or better yet, just PM me the Replay code.

Why are Sonic's arms blue?
The character design for (insert character's name here) sucks!!
Why are they wearing bandages??
So, before I continue torturing myself by reading more of these, these need to be addressed, if anything, for the sake of getting this off my chest.
1. Why are Sonic's arms blue?
What kind of prissy little fuckface would whine about Sonic's arms being blue? Why even bring that up?? And besides, Silver's arms have silver fur, like the rest of him. Shadow's arms have black and red fur, like the rest of him. Why can't Sonic's arms have blue fur, LIKE THE REST OF HIM?! And this is also a minor detail, just like his green eyes- Oh wait. I forgot. The Sonic fanboys have also complained about Sonic's green eyes as well!! And yes....ALL of these complaints are from Sonic Fanboys....guess they haven't run out of steam yet. DO THESE IDIOTS RUN ON ENERGIZER BATTERIES OR SOMETHING?! REALLY!!!
2. The character design for (insert character's name here) sucks!!
Alright listen, you little ass-munch. That's your OPINION talking. Say it with me. O-PIN-ION. You know, that thing that ISN'T a fact. So stop treating it like one! You think the character design sucks, but I happen to like the character design. Especially Tails' and Knuckles' designs. Knuckles was always a powerhouse. Now he looks like one. And Sonic doesn't even look that different to me. Tails looks like he's actually a "gearhead genius kid" which he is. Amy....doesn't even look different. *takes another look at Amy's design* ....Holy crud, she looks awesome now!! Granted, now she looks like she's a little young to marry Sonic, but she actually looks a little stylish now. Anyways, in my opinion, the most fitting design change for any character so far is Knuckles'. He was always able to smash through boulders, stones wall and sometimes, even through metal, but he had nearly the same body structure as Sonic. Now he even LOOKS like he has an insane amount of strength. Haven't seen much of Eggman's design though. Wish I could see more to give it a fair judgment on how it looks. Lastly, they could've been way worse than what we have now. Trust me on this.

Oh gosh, I see this one the most. While I admit it is a little odd to see them all sporting bandages, let's keep in mind of the setting, which appears to be a tropical island with it large amount of ancient ruins, judging from the screenshots. And after seeing the trailer for the TV series, the first setting is a desert, which would make the whole 'bandage' apparel more fitting. Otherwise, I don't know, and I don't care, since it's a minor detail at most.
I see no reason at all to bitch this much over these changes, since some of them actually fit. But then again, it's the Sonic fanbase. They're always gonna bitch about something, ANYTHING really. And if you want proof, find a Sonic Boom trailer with a lot of view and a lot of comments. You're going to find a least ONE each of the three complaints I've listed above, I'm sure. If you're a Sonic fan with a functioning brain somewhere in your skull (A.K.A., you're either indifferent or you have a modest opinion about the new series and the changes), then no need to worry. This rant was not directed towards you. But if you're a Sonic fantard who always bitches and bitches, and BITCHES about such trivial changes, whether it be eye color, longer quills or god forbid, the old "stretched out character design" bullshit, then please....either grow thicker skin, stop nitpicking over the design, and stop being so freaking intolerant when it comes to even the smallest changes in the appearances of the characters, or kindly walk out the door and leave as soon as possible before you give me a headache with your constant whining and fidgeting.

And for some reason, I got my computer back...Wait, WHAT?
Posted 11 years agoWhen I got back from donating plasma and picking my brother up from school, I come home to my mom, and asked her how it went with my laptop....She said she never pawned it.
Yeah, I found my Laptop sitting on the Living room couch, charger and everything, inside one of my mom's old purses. At first I was confused and asked why she never pawned it. She told me that how much she would get would depend on what version of Windows / Linux it ran on, the size of it and etc., and she figured she might as well not do it. While I still think it was an odd decision, considering I had already agreed to letting her do it, and I was somewhat prepared to go without it, but I'm just happy that I got my computer back.

Yeah, I found my Laptop sitting on the Living room couch, charger and everything, inside one of my mom's old purses. At first I was confused and asked why she never pawned it. She told me that how much she would get would depend on what version of Windows / Linux it ran on, the size of it and etc., and she figured she might as well not do it. While I still think it was an odd decision, considering I had already agreed to letting her do it, and I was somewhat prepared to go without it, but I'm just happy that I got my computer back.

I don't when I'll be able to get it back, so I ask that everyone please bear with me. I won't be able to upload anything or even make anymore digital drawings until then. I'm sorry.
What to do next....
Posted 11 years agoJust a quick question, and I want everyone's honest opinion on this one, but should I include my Traditional work in with my Digital work? Like, sketch out the drawing or picture I'd think of then go over it with my computer and tablet? I mean, I've seen lots of other artists do it before, both here and on DA (Deviantart), but do I need to do that as well? It's never really crossed my mind until recently, and I don't feel like trying to practice this sort of action without a second opinion, so let me know.

An explanation for the delay.
Posted 12 years agoSorry I haven't been able to finish this picture yet. Part of the reason why is because, well, admittedly, I kinda got too caught up in the hype of Pokemon XY myself....the other part of the reason why....Is...
During Saturday....I was literally peeing BLOOD. I'm not even joking. I was peeing blood.
It happened during the Saturday that XY was released, after I got back from getting dog food. When I needed to use the bathroom, I did just that...only to find blood stains. I looked up what was happening to me on Google, and also asked my aunt what was going on. Apparently, I have a Bladder infection. She simply told me to drink water or Green Tea. I've been drinking nothing but water and for the most part, it seems to be helping.
So yeah, once everything's been resolved, or when it stops doing...THAT....I'll get back to the picture.

Posted 12 years agoI got my copy early at midnight ( You wouldn't believe the amount of people there, and I thought that not many people would even be at the midnight release...) !!
So far, I have a Fennekin, Flabebe, Panpour and Fletchling...Charmander, Pancham and Furfrou...There are just too many Pokemon to decide from!!

Posted 12 years agoThis is what I want to do. Take five, that's right, FIVE of FA Users who see and read this journal, and make a special picture to:
1. Commemorate getting this close to 200 WATCHERS!!!
2. Celebrate the worldwide release of POKEMON X AND Y!!!
3. Actually make a pic of a Rival Battle like I wanted to.
and 4. For the sake of drawing. But really, have I EVER needed a reason to draw? ....The answer is YES!! I DO!!
But there are limits to this.... And here the rules regarding the limits.
1. NO POKEMON FURSONAS. If this is in the Pokemon World, then I can't make the Pokemon into fursonas at all. That could only work if it was the Mystery Dungeon world, but no.
2. The design of whatever character I'm drawing must be basic. If they have some spazzy design, like....a rainbow coat of fur, or some 360-ish spots...then it's a NO. Period.
3. Trainer Outfits. You can request a certain outfit that's similar to a certain character from the game or anime, like say...Ash's Unova outfit. I think I can do that. Otherwise I will draw up a random outfit for the character. I mean, we can't have you people running around in the nude, can we....HEY! PUT YOUR SHIRT BACK ON!! RIGHT NOW!
4. Macros WILL be downsized. To at least twice the size of a human being. Really. Because we can't have our precious setting be demolished by um....by a huge brute like this guy

5. I don't know if I can draw the Pokemon. I haven't drawn actual, feral Pokemon in months. So don't get your hopes up. I'm being very serious about it. You CAN request a Pokemon, I won't stop you on that part. But I did just reset my tablet settings and Paint tool SAI settings, so it's gonna be a maybe on the whole 'drawing Pokemon' part.
I really REALLY hope I can finish this thing by the time X and Y come out, if not sooner, but it WILL take some time. And I will need to have people forward this journal to as many others as possible, so that way I can have a bigger selection to work with. This mostly likely WON'T be to celebrate getting 200 watches, unless that happens somewhere between the time I start this and the time I upload the picture, but I care less for THAT NONSENSE, and more about this crazy excitement that is POKEMON! So please do comment and wait for whatever kind of pic I manage to make....(And hope that stupid Missingno doesn't fuck everything to shreds.)

Factory Reset
Posted 12 years agoI don't know how it happened, but my computer stopped working properly, always slowing down, even when I opened up a folder. I figured out that my computer must've been bugged, so I had to do a Factory Reset. All my files, all my artwork, everything is gone now....
...Or it would've been, had I not moved everything to my phone and flash drive. I still lost a lot of stuff, but at least I was able to save something from it, like Paint Tool SAI, and my artwork. It'll take a little while to re-install everything else I use, and reconfigure the settings for my tablet, which isn't going to be very easy. Maybe about a day or so, at least.
So bear with me on this.

Posted 12 years agoAlright....I'll put this out there. I'm not much of a furry. I'm making that clear, right now, before we move on to ANYTHING else. Reason why, is because about 2 years ago, I came to this site when I saw an adorable picture....then I found some questionable material, that made me stay away for about a 7 months. But staying here, for a year made me realize, I was acting intolerant and close-minded. Plus it was mostly my fault for coming to that material I saw, since I was too curious to stay away....still left a mental scar in my brain....with that said..... Here's what I've gathered about Furries from this site and Weasyl.
If anything....here's the deal. EVERYONE. I repeat, EVERYONE has, is, or will become a furry in their own way. Because when you think about....they're just basically people who have a fondness for animals. If you have a pet dog....FURRY. If you think bears are awesome.....FURRY.
If you say that you like turtles....FURRY. I've watched Animal Planet all the time when I was a kid, and seen FurAffinity recently...Other than how extreme the fondness of animals are between the two, there is no clear difference. Furry Porn.....(I wish I could forget ever seeing that...stupid Google Search, always killing my eyes...) Is just another, albeit extreme, way of showing a love for animals....Fursuits? Same thing, but less extreme...
And I'll be honest. I've always thought that being able to turn into an anthropomorphic form of my favorite animal would be freaking awesome. I've noticed the potential, ...weird, setbacks to such a fantasy...But I try not to let it kill my imagination on such a subject. And what does that make me? Technically, a FURRY. So, if anyone's ever had any of the thoughts I've mentioned....YOU'RE A FURRY...
That said, when I found quite a few videos on Youtube that show people acting negatively to all this.....and to that I say: You must hate animals. So yeah, I'm glad I watched Animal Planet as a kid, I'm glad I gave this site a try....So that way, I wouldn't turn into these people.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73Wtfa_bS_k
By the way, what I said here, is pretty much the same thing I posted in the comments of this video....as well as this: That since human are also animals....we're literally ALREADY furries!

However, that doesn't mean I've stopped drawing them. It just means that they won't be shown HERE. Instead, I'm going to continue drawing myself as a watcher-requested animal including the person who turned me into said animal. So if anyone else wants in, go ahead. I won't discriminate. I'll also do my own, from time to time.

Livestreaming account

Y'know the comic series I started back in November? The one on this account?
insidecoreysfaceholes Well, as hard as school has been, I've still been trying to come up with new ideas every now and then. I can only come up with so many ideas, and I can only do so much in my spare time, as I continue practicing through the designs in these book and go on with new drawing designs for each character to make them more simple, keeping a catoonish feel in them as well.
So back to my point. I wish to make a team to keep the comic going. That way, I can get a second opinion about everything, there be a guy who can come up with additional ideas and someone who has a somewhat similar art style, for a bit of consistancy, should I be unavilable. Working out the other details can wait, but anyone who reads this journal will get the gist of it. And please remember that before you want to be a part of the team, keep this in mind:
1. this comic series is usually meant to have a upbeat and ludicrous air about it. It's not really meant to be morbid or sad.
2. It's non-profit. Meaning that it's not meant to be used to extort money from anyone.
3. The material in the comics are usually meant for comedic purposes albeit having PG-13 material, meaning that nothing is meant a to a direct sexual feel to it.
So, if you still feel the want to join, feel free to. After everyone's been selected, that's when I'll get into details with the rules, privliges and restrictions.

Posted 12 years agoI'm thinking about hosting Commissions pretty soon since I usually have some free time to do stuff, and I can always earn a little money here and there. Of course there's the matter of doing research on HOW to host commissions, since this is one of those things I don't wanna screw up. And as to what I'd offer....well....It'd either be based on quality with $7 going of full color and shading....or Art type (based on the list of Art type on this site) with anything vore-related being for $8. If anyone thinks that the prices are really low, know this: I can be shockingly cheap. This is all.
If anyone thinks I should base the price range on quality or art type, please vote on it. I'm gonna need the feedback.
