Posted 10 years agoAnother year gone, it was a true blast this year. Met some great people, shared in a lot of shenanigans, and made a lot of smiles, it's cons like these that truly make the wait worth it!

Who else is all going? I'd like for us to hang out, BLFC is still new to me so I have yet made a lot of friendly connections, so if it's not too much trouble, can I hang out with you guys? (I will bring pocky) Q_Q
Otherwise I'm gonna go wander around and cause trouble because it's a Distopia theme, so I'm gonna be one of the "rebels" and cause trouble XD

Life is certainly interesting, you never know what you're going to see or become, I mean I've seen friends now married, others taking on their own business, just so many things going on, and I really enjoy watching how e ach of of my friends' stories unfold, it makes me feel eager how my story will unfold, sometimes I fear for the future, but who doesn't? I'll keep at it as I how you guys will too! Lets all do our best to make sure our story leaves an impact for the next generation!

New years and other things
Posted 12 years agoHey hey guys, long time no chat, how have you guys been? I hope that Christmas has treated you guys well! As for me, I'm right now dealing with a vehicular accident XD
Thankfully no one was hurt and I was not at fault, though when I explained it to my father, he may think that the guy was trying to pull a fast one over me and try to give me misinformation.
But at least I got a life size Fennekin plush so I'm happy for that XD

For those who volunteered their characters as models for my art practice, I will get to it as soon as I can, my classes assigned major papers so I gotta get to work on those first, and THEN I will work on drawing

So I decided to draw people in a martial arts pose (since I'm a Tekken fan XP) So I was hoping that the readers here would graciously allow me to draw one of their characters, if you don't mind, please let me know! Just link me a ref and what style of martial arts you want and I will certainly try my best!

Why do I bring pocky? Well...
Posted 12 years agoSo recently I've been asked why I bring pocky to large fur meets
For those of you who don't know, I've been given nickname recently by a lot of members of the Colorado Fur Fandom as "Pocky Guy" (we all have to be known for something right? XD) I basically hand out pocky sticks to fursuiters and new friends I come across during large furry events that I attend here in Colorado.
Anyways, some people asked me why I do hand out pocky sticks, and I'd like to say that these three are the top answers
1. It's to help provide suiters with some energy to continue doing what they do best and that's make people happy
2. It's just a nice gesture to make newcomers feel welcomed to cons/gatherings
3. Probably the most important reason why I do this is because I enjoy making friends! I enjoy making friends, but I also have a tendency of being fairly shy, like to me; I can't go up to a person and say "Be my friend? 8D" because to me, that is coming on too strongly... instead I hand out pocky sticks as a way to break the ice, it gives me the confidence needed to approach people and talk to them!
I do have one more reason, and that's "why not?"
If you guys happen to attend RMFC next year please look for me, I'll be the guy handing out the pocky! :D

So there's a Halloween event for furries like you guys!
Its happening again! No, noooo, noooooOooooO!
The annual Colorado Furry Community's Howl-o-Ween party, eating at your soul since 1999!
Enjoy spirits and other ghastly concocktions the FRIDAY before Halloween at the EXDO Annex near Downtown Denver (same place as last year)!
Multiple cash bars, menu for noms, a whole upstairs dedicated to the fursuit headless lounge (open to everyone), and basement dance floor!
Everyone is invited, including friends!
All ages welcome, 21+ if drinking (duh!). If you bring your young and tender babies/kids we will have a grand feast!
$5 admission for the first 100 people, $10 afterward.
Costume contest with great prizes!
Parking is to the East of the building, on the SW corner of Marion St and 31st Ave. Overflow parking (dirt lot) is on the NW corner of the same intersection. Lightrail station serving the end of the "D" route (30th and Downing PnR) is on the opposite corner of the same block as the venue.
Costumes are optional (You should probably go as yourself if you scare people anyway!)
DJ's will operate the dance floor.

Posted 12 years agoSo I came back from an anime convention hosted at the state I live in and I have to say that it was fairly fun. I was surprised to see that a lot more fursuiters showed up this year than last year. In last year's con we only had probably five suiters at best, and this year the con had at least over 20 different suiters. I was happy that some of them remembers me as Pocky Guy from last RMFC and of course I handed them giant sticks of pocky.
I have to say that one of the most memorable things I will take from the con is when the fire alarm went off in the con so everyone had to evacuate. I evacuated with some of the suiters and afterwards they headed towards the makeshift headless lounge to cool off. I have to say that they make some great (if not scary) conversation and I enjoyed hanging with them.
What will next year's con hold? Gotta wait and see, with all the same cast members and some new ones as well! Photos will be uploaded!
