MLP:FiM Painting Commissions - Open now!
Posted 12 years agoOver the past few weeks kenket and I have been having a blast making pony paintings!
After talking about it for a while, we’ve finally made the decision to take a small number of commissions for custom pony paintings! So if there is a pony you’d really want and you don’t want to deal with the risk of auctions and bidding wars, now is your chance!
Please know we are also willing to do artistic freedom commissions, which you simply pick a character and :iconkenket and I will drum up an idea! On all commissions, you will receive a preliminary sketch to approve or requests revisions!
Note, however, that we are mostly interested in doing show characters. We might consider OCs, however it would affect the price greatly. All ideas must be PG or under and flow with the themes of the show. (For example, no mech armor or crossovers).
The base price for a single character 5x7 traditionally painted picture is $200. This price, of course, is subject to change based on complexity, larger sizes, multiple characters, etc. All our paintings are rendered by hand, in acrylic, and on wood. The commissioner receives the original painting via USPS.
For all other information, and details about the information above, please see our ToS which should ask most any question you could have.

2013 - Conventions, Activities, and more!
Posted 12 years agoSo! 2013 has started off a bit rocky. Between losing some valuable merch/commissions/etc in the mail (damn you USPS...) and my art tablet PC literally catching on fire...
Well, let's just say I hope this year starts to look up a bit more. Still! Life goes on and I'm excited to talk about some of the events/places you'll see me this year!

I'm off to the Seattle MLP convention, Everfree NorthWest! If you're going, make sure to say hi! I'll be doing art for booze in the Holiday Inn bar one or two nights. Come get sketches and buy me drinks!
After the con I'll be out camping in the rainforest afterwards with friends and then swinging by Las Vegas for a night or two because I've never been there!
Soooo. I won't be around until next Thursday 8/23. So please excuse me if I don't get back to notes/emails/etcs.

MLP Art Livestream! Tips for art! As cheap as $5!

Tonight I am doing art for tips! If you'd like to tip me some money in exchange for art, please read the following:
1. Please do NOT send money until I, or one of the chat mods, gives you the go ahead. I don't want to get a huge list of commissions and not be able to do all of them! I will be taking two at a time, and then calling for two more, etc.
2. The tip minimum is $5 which gets you a loose sketch! You are welcome to tip more... the more you tip, the more you get! (color, multiple characters (up to 3), etc)
3. Do not ask "how much for (color/two characters/etc)". This is tip based and my only requirement is nothing under $5. I will decide how much your tip gets you!
4. When slots are open, I or one of the mods will announce it! It's first come, first serve.
5. Please, if you have unusual characters (griffons, Discord-ish, heavy armor, etc) please consider tipping more.
6. It's one slot per person! You may only claim another slot if no one else is claiming it.
7. Please have your money, idea and reference ready! These are quick fire commission rounds and I can't wait for you to decide what you want or for payment!
8. This is mostly an artistic freedom stream. SOME specifics on your drawing are okay, but please keep things mostly simple and fun for me to do!

Posted 13 years agoAll right! I'm a bit late to the game thanks to a last minute trip to BronyCon. However! I am taking quotes for suits starting today! I am only taking two slots, plus maybe just a head slot, so please make sure you have money ready for a down payment or you might miss out!
Here is some important information BEFORE you submit the following form:
PRICES: To be more aware of the price range, I am tentatively setting the following. For non MLP suits, they start at $2000. For MLP suits, the minimum price is $2600. Please note that there are BASE prices and depending on your particular needs, they maybe more than what you see listed here.
I DO require a nonrefundable 30% deposit. This is to ensure you are serious about commissioning a suit from me and helps me secure materials needed for your costume. I need this within two weeks of you accepting the quoted price.
PLEASE HAVE REF ART ATTACHED IN THE EMAIL! Should you not have reference art (three view of regular characters, though MLP characters only need at least one view and details of the cutiemark). If you do NOT have art attached in your email, I will not quote you.
I am NOT making the main characters from MLP. Sorry.
I take payment plans! The only payment I require right away is the 30% deposit. After that you may control your own payment methods. I do require full payment before I begin on your costume.
DEADLINES (please read): Please note that the slots I am taking now are NOT for any specific deadlines. I have a full time job working on my graphic novel, and I will be doing these suits outside of that job. HOWEVER! I do promise that the suit will be done between September and January of this Fall/Winter. But I can not and will not promise specific deadlines (IE for Halloween, a con, etc) By taking one of these slots you are agreeing that you are okay that your costume will be done within that time frame at my own discretion and that you will not email me suddenly asking for it for a random event/time.
I ONLY offer toony eyes and static jaws. Please do not inquire about anything else.

This is outdoor quality vinyl decals. So they're great for your car, laptop, etc! I only have a FEW left! Most styles only have 5 or so left, and some only have one or two. So buy now, because I won't be making these in bulk for a long time, if ever.

Anhrocon and BroNYCon - Announcements!
Posted 13 years agoSo I'm attending both Anthrocon and BroNYCon this upcoming June!
At Anthrocon, I'll be selling art, vinyl decals, and whatnots. Check me out at table E08! I'll be announcing more closer to the con! I'll also be suiting, but you don't get to see that suit just yet! ;)
Also, I'm heading up to BroNYCon. Not selling since they're out of table space... so unless someone is kind and will share, I'm just going to hang out, meet people, and go to panels!
Who will I see around at these?

Fursuit Slots Opening July 1st! - LIMITED Slots

I will be opening for TWO full fursuit slots for Fall/Winter completion on July 1st (and maybe one just head slot). On July 1st I will post a journal with the fursuit quote form. At that time, I will quote interested parties. It will NOT be first come first serve, however. Of the suits I am interested in making, I will take on whomever has their deposit ready first.
Also, this will be a deadline-less commission! It will be done between September - January and I will be working on it when I have time between my work on Caterwall. So specific deadlines other than you getting it at sometime within that timeframe will not be possible.
Please know that deposits for fullsuits can run $600 and up depending on what your final quote is. So save up and have money ready!
I will ALSO require concept art. Have it ready to email on July 1st!
I will be, yes, willing to take both MLP and non MLP characters. Just no canon MLP characters, please.
EDIT: I've never taken canon characters as commissions, folks. HOWEVER. I have made a few characters for myself that need to get out of my closet soon. So they'll be on ebay later this year.
