The convention had potential if my brain didn't hate me. I missed out on almost everything and was exhausted everyday. Fursuit parade was kinda sucky due to weather, no photo booth this year.

Highlights did include meeting peeps, enjoying part of the dance competition, huge balloon dildo (will post pics lmao) just a giant pink long balloon that everyone was trying to keep off the ground, getting to be in the fursuit parade twice :p, and getting a few goodies in the dealers room.

Back to finishing up the NH house, just waiting on carpet but still got to work on a few more things.
Won't be long now. Possibly visiting a sled dog rescue in NH with mah mate to possibly find a companion for my lonely shiba. (Shhhhh he doesn't know yet). It's just a looksie, just to meet and actually talk with them and to see the dogs. *don't kill me Roder*

Finishing Aussie suit by the end of Nov. This carpet installation is really screwing up our move.

Will be moving to NH in a few short weeks. Luckily my mom will be staying at our house to look after my birdies while we are at the con.
Commissions are on hold until after the con unless it's an ongoing project. I ended up in the hospital last Thursday from too much anxiety and panic attacks due to my psych stopping my medication against my will. Even the hospital thought I was just a drug junkie -.- When I am just going through an incredibly stressful time especially with the panic disorder. Ended up in the ER again up in NH but finally got the medical attention I needed and I'm pretty much normal again. New Dr and Psychologist up in NH. I finally feel good again and confident.

It has come to that time!
We are just getting the house comfortable enough to survive the winter, still a lot of work to be done but we will have the bird room, work room, and living room fully finished. Our expected move date is 1st week in October.
My rooms are starting to look pretty empty minus fursuiting stuff. There will be a 2 week period where I will not be able to work on anything due to the obvious.

I got pretty sick a week ago due to a medication problem so things have been delayed a bit. Working on the Aussie fullsuit when ever time allows. I am hoping things will settle down a bit once me and  -roder- are living together.

Then its already furpocalypse! If I don't get Sora done, I will be ever so sad. So far it's not looking good. :( so that's 2 years I haven't been able to complete her. Just too much shit happening at the wrong time every time.

At least I got to go to the beach before fall kicks in!

And furpocalypse is right around the corner!! ...wait....don't remind me >_< I STILL haven't gone to the beach yet!

Thing have been a little tough and edgy since AC ended. I have had some really bad days and some days that were just okay.
I knew August was going to be a busy month with many appointments ( at least 2 a week) and some covered shifts at my old job.
I have been working on the Aussie fullsuit when I can in between things. I really really hope to get Sora done before the con. I just can't go another year of not getting it done.

Still working on my house in NH, every time it's a bigger mess and more to do. It's taking us way longer than (I) thought. So that has made my suiting stuff very slow, driving back and forth every weekend. It's been tough for me and Roder emotionally. I really hope the move goes smoothly and I can resume fursuit work at the new house. But for me it seems like a long ways away. We still need a lot of things replaced in the house. We can't go to meets or events anymore for the most part, due to me having all these appointments during the week.

luckily some of our good friends are helping us when they can which we greatly appreciate.

I am going through some pretty bad family times as well which is also keeping me from my work. We have had a death in my family and other life or death situations with my dad (who doesn't live with me) I haven't been feeling too good recently and still getting tons of migraines and anxiety. Trying to better myself and stay strong and sane through all this.

All in all, I do what I can.

Can't this husky have a beach day?

Got back from my first year at AnthroCon on Monday morning around 1am. It was certainly an experience but it wasn't everything I was hoping it would be. It was amazing seeing the fireworks, meeting some new people and to see a happy friend get his fursuit partial. Best thing of all I got to spend it with my mate we first met at furfright but started seeing each other the week he came back from AC so on the 12th, it will have been one year :)

I honestly like furfright (now furpocolypse) better, maybe my 2nd year at AC will be better, it was a bit overwhelming with staying up so late and not getting enough to eat and rushing around to get places.
I wish I could have done and seen a lot more than I did. I got no new commissions cause I'm such a tiny business and only 3 of my suits were there so out of everyone else who is much better I didn't get much attention. Which im okay with.

I'm still exhausted but will try to upload pics in the next couple days

With a week left, I am hauling ass to finish the spectacular Droid, I will be working nonstop to get him ready for his big debut
Last bits of fabric arrived and about 15 t-shirts arrived! Most are spoken for but I have about 4-5 extra ones (L & XL) to sell at AC if anyone is interested, couldn't hut to have extras! The shirts feature new larger text. I have white, grey and black right now and they are $15 each.

I will be wearing ParrotsHusky to AC, no Sora, have no time to finish her, most people know that suit anyway ;)

Our house up in NH is still being worked on heavily, we are quite worn out and will be taking a break for 2 weeks from it to prepare for AC. A lot still needs to be done to make it liveable.

We got the keys to our house today!!!
It needs a lot of work but we are ready for it!
Its going to be so great once it's fixed up. We have 2 acres of land for my dog, a chicken coop, a huge garage/barn/loft. Also has a big fire pit outside. It's awesome and the view is amazing. Air is so fresh. It will be tough being away from home and friends. There will be good times and bad times. But it will be ours :)
Moving will take place in about a month.

Well wed is my last day at work ^^ and that friday I close on my house in NH :) So I will be spending the weekend up there picking out flooring to be installed and then getting ready for a new roof installation. I wont actually be moving up until everything is finished by the contractor so that will be about a month or so. Its stressful but I am trying to handle it well. I find that I am much more comfortable working at home on fursuit stuff.
Once my website opens I will be open for quotes.

Even though I will be dealing with health and house stuff I have a few things to finish for anthrocon, which we will probably be going to. Commissions come first, and Id love to finish my bf's fullsuit. But I also want my new character to debut at AC but if I cant get to that then Parrots husky will go for one more round.

Great news! We finally got a closing date on the house, May 16th. A lot needs to be done before we move up there but I will not be working at my current job.

I put in my two weeks today so I'm feeling pretty good :)

In just 12 days I'll be 26.... Boooo lol which means April is almost over and pretty soon its going to be anthrocon! Yikes!!! I am this [-] close to getting my mortgage for the house, all we need is a closing date which can only happen If the stupid lady calls me back. And she hasn't for 4 days after leaving messages and 're-calling -_-#

I am biting at the bit because I have commissions to finish but I still can't quit my job! And now with a dog vet appt every other week, PT 2x a week in the morning before work, therapy 1x a week and what ever else I have to do during that week in between work is making it extremely hard to finish these commissions I have due for May/June. And half the time (since my work is retarded in scheduling people) I end up working 30 min late every day.
Maybe I should just quit sooner? Thinking about it. I don't make much money there. If I can sell some tails and whatnot I'll probably make just as much as I'm making in a week now.

Migraines are getting better/being controlled and my anxiety has been okay-ish

So work time is very slow right now but that will all be changing once I get out of my job. Still having some health problems that are being worked on as well. (controlling migraines and anxiety)

Also since I am moving I will have my own workspace and wont have to sacrifice the weekends (which are my only days off) to spend time with my bf instead of commissions because he is moving with me :) so we will be together all the time! (yay? lol :p)

There may be some delays when moving (as you probably know moving into a new house that needs work is very stressful and takes a lot of time) so I will post here and on my website when I will be open and able to start working on commissions.

House update:
I will have everything together on Wednesday for the final mortgage approval for the closing
The only thing I am waiting on is the water test/inspection which was going suspiciously slow. So a little friendly threat got that going so hopefully that will be done soon cause I need that for the mortgage. (it was supposed to be taken care of 3 weeks ago)

Health update:
Well of course I am again in a rut, migraines up the wazoo and my anxiety is back and my meds are not helping good enough.]
Seeing a Neurologist tomorrow to monitor and figure out the migraines. I lost a whole weekend of work and friend time two weeks in a row.
Also going to figure out something to combat my anxiety without ssri's. It's still been tough for me working on commissions since I seem sick all the time cause of stress. Trying to stay positive but it's really hard.

I am in the process of preparing myself for going full blown with fursuit making.

What this means: I will be open for re-vamps, heads, partials, local fulls, tails, paws, LED earrings, and more.

Most of you know I am moving soon and as soon as I get my mortgage for the house I plan to quite my job. (not just because I feel like making fursuits, I have many other personal reasons)
I will be home 24/7 and will dedicate a schedule to work on commissions.

I plan to make sure everything I offer is of high quality and unique. I am still closed right now and will be until I finished my sona (Sora)'s suit and help Roder make his full suit. During this time I will be experimenting on my personal suit with what I already know and making it better.

Prices will also rise to normal Makers' prices since this will be my sole source of income.

Just to give you an idea, heads will be in the $600 range, partials $800, fulls $1000+, tails $50-80, etc.....
In the new house I will have a dedicated work room for suit making!

In the middle of buying a house up in NH and probably won't be settled in till late may but I am sacrificing otakon for Anthrocon this year have always wanted to go but Otakon runs only a few weeks after AC so I was never able to go. Not sure how it's going to happen (will have to bring my dog to a kennel and find a pet sitter up in NH to take care of the animals) while we are away and hope the new house doesn't blow up o_O and find a room.

But going to pre-reg today in hopes that me and will have our suits done. (Esp mine cause I only have the tail!)
It will be interesting going from a 34,000 people anime con to a 5,000 furcon.

Have the whole week off due to medical issues so I can work on stuff.

So what's what's been happening to this blue husky in the time being? To be completely honest...
This new year SUCKS! My life keeps getting shat upon (its like it needs some Imodium or something)

One thing after another, I keep moving forward and keeping my head up and thinking (semi) positive.
Only thing I have holding me together are my animals and my mate. This life is over and it's time to start a new one, and until then someone up there is going to make it miserable and shit is going to keep coming. I'm kinda used to it.

My credit card info got stolen, my dad has been harassing me drunk and is wasting away due to it, my dog got sick for a week, my uncle is dying, got into an accident with a stone wall which cost me big time (didn't have a car for 3 weeks and its STILL not fixed) so have to bring it back. Buying a house is no walk in the park either, why they make it so damn complicated I don't know. Having a lot of medical issues like migraines, low heart rate, Ive been late to work a lot and on thin ice with them about it. Now I'm sick with a horrible head cold.

I realize why I cant take any commissions. Cause I hardly have time to do my laundry or freaking have any time to myself.
My dog is also to blame for that. Being a Shiba, she is very picky and takes up all of my free time in the morning and afternoon.


But ALAS I will get through it and me and my Roder will have our own lives back!!!!
