Heyo all,

I realize I seem to have a bit of a habbit of popping in every 4 years, but this is potentially different.

I now have a small digitizing and machine embroidery side business and I am considering opening up commissions for custom embroidery.
I can digitize your personal OC and make them into a patch up to 11x12in size.
I am also considering the possibility of making embroidered character lanyard tags, essentially a one or 2 sided patch with a rivet eyelet to hang it from.

I am making this journal to see if anyone would be interested in this service.
Cost will depend on the complexity of the character, sizes, and quantity.
If I do get enough positive responses then I may also do a giveaway of a couple custom free patches which I will also use as examples to build future commission posts.

It's been quite a while, life of course hasn't gone exactly as I planned or hoped. But none the less it keeps going.

I've been overseas for the last couple years, and it's been an amazing adventure thus far.

I hope to soon be able to set up, and start recording something again... though I realize every time I've said that to now has not worked out. But this time I feel that I have a higher chance of things working out as I have more space to work with, as I now have a house.

I'm currently away from it though and will be back there in a couple months. Once back I should be able to start again.

I realize that I keep even writing these journals as a way to kinda keep track of what im trying to do. Just spread out by months and years.

So I got called ma'am at work by a customer... i even made eye contact with here after that and so i could tell she was looking at my face... she finally realized her mistake when I spoke.
Yay for shaving... I just shaved off my goatee the other day, and my stubble is blonde/white.

I do realize though that from behind my hair does make me seem more... feminine... Its gotten long again and been multi colored for the last month or so. blue, purple, pink, green, white... did it for a festival.

So I finally have internet service again so im actually able to keep up with things a bit better here... and online in general.
yay... hmmm, I thought Id have more to say but now that im typing it out I really don't know what all to say.

So I've spoken before about voice acting but I realized Ive never posted anything in regards to the project im currently involved in.

A quick break down of what we do, this is an unofficial group, but all of us who voice characters auditioned and landed the roles we play. We record and post covers of songs that are requested by other fans as our characters.
So if you happen to have a favorite character and want to hear them sing a certain song, you can request it(when the ask box it open).

The two characters I voice are Angel Dust, and Nathan.

So I finally got started at OU, general engineering. I joined the OU mens rugby team, and have increased my training for it. Lots of fun.
I got fired friday night, my own fault. I forgot I had work at 6pm and got a call at 7:20 from my manager asking if I was coming in. Turned out that that was my fourth write up in six months, so they had to fire me due to policy. Life happens.

I got myself a recording microphone and started working on voice acting on the side. Ive already auditioned for several characters, in different projects.

So I have been back in western NY since late last week, AND ITS FANTASTIC!!!
Back here at lake Erie all these old friends, and family.
Im going to be here until august 5th and then I will be flying back down to Oklahoma. So if there are any western NY furs around the City of Dunkirk that would be game to meet up for a little, do hit me up.
I only have internet access when Im at the coffee shop though so I may be slow to respond to anyone.

So an amazing artist here on FA,  ArtsyPaws, and her family are going through a painful time right now. Her mother is possibly only days from passing away due to cancer.

I love living in today, The technology, the "ease" of international travel, The vehicles.
It all makes life more convenient and entertaining, but in at the same time harder I feel.

People will still often say, "JUST DO IT!" but frequently when you try to "just go do it" you find someone saying "before you can just do it, you have to do this, pay that, study these, and sign those"

Before you know it you've spent days, weeks, months, and even years, running in circles just trying to get to your initial goal.

I'm not saying that it isn't worth it, some things are more than worth the time and effort, but why do people find it necessary to add all this red tape?

People tell me "That's just the way it goes, you have to work for it" BUT, I can understand studying engineering so that I can invent, I can understand having to exercise to get in good shape, I can understand practicing to get better and better.

But I cannot understand why people will tell me to ONLY practice, study, or exercise, but never try. Saying that ill fail, that Its irresponsible, or childish, to try after only a little preparation.

When did we as a people become so afraid of failure? When was it decided that life was better spent preparing for what might happen.

Now I will say this, a life spent in preparation isn't necessarily bad, but its no better nor worse than a life spent trying everything and never settling and never stable.

Let me live, I don't want to spend my life working towards one thing, one mission, I want to have many many missions, multiple experiences.

This is what I want, don't tell me that I'm wrong to pursue this, you have no right to.


This isn't aimed at any one person, or group, but at humanity in general.
I touched on several different things that are bothering me in life right now.
I apologize if this may be hard to follow, I simply am writing these as they logically flow in my mind.

Getting into college is not easy, the paper work is infuriating. Im already accepted I just have to enroll in classes and their system is a PAIN IN THE ASS.

So I shaved my head, I actually did it about a week ago, but just finished the job tonight. Buzzed it completely down to the scalp. so convenient.

I should hopefully be getting my motorcycle back on the road tomorrow. and Ill soon be selling my volvo... It breaks my heart to have to do it, but I cannot afford the time, and money, to keep fixing it. I wish I could, but I cannot.
So I've been car hunting, planning this time to get something with a warranty, so they have to fix it... gonna read the fine print of course. Considering a jeep wrangler, 1990-2000 is my rough looking area. been finding quite a few but first im going to dealership hop, try some different used vehicles and decide officially from there.
But first my motorcycle will be my transport.

Been making progress training wise, been looking now for a PT partner with similar goals/drive.

Other stuff, Im working on my final admission stuff for uni.

I now work out on a daily basis and am considering doing a weekly picture update thing, so myself and anyone interested can see my progress.

I am considering talking to a different recruiter cause, while everyone ive met and worked with at my local one has been very friendly and helpful at that time, They are no help when If I am not in their office, we'll see.

So I got accepted into the university I applied to, I start this fall. Yeah.
And my bands recording in march... So yeah. Fun stuff.

So I'm afraid that I am not going to be making to to Texas Furry Fiesta.
My tax return came after I was already scheduled for work that weekend.
SO I'm going to focus my energy on making it to Anthrocon this year!

I moved into a new apartment with my buddy and his girlfriend, two bedroom of course. and we just now got internet, BUT.... I haddent expected us to have this for another month or so... his girlfriend went and got us the *drum roll* COX BUNDLE!!!! kill me... almost 70 more dollars a month!!! ALL WE NEED IS INTERNET and we dont even "need" that... we barely made the second rent do to unexpected costs that hit all of us... so yeah, preparing for an awkward talk. she gets pissed off easly, and dont really want to make my friends life hell (he has to listen and take the worst of it I can walk away) but yeah better than living on a couch.

Also have a new job again, got laid off with a bunch of others due to financial cuts, am now a technician at a family fun place. and yeah.

So I finished my application to the University of Oklahoma.
Fingers crossed that ill be accepted, cause ill admit i didn't really do the best that I could have in high school, though I didnt do horribly, got A's and B's mostly. and im thinking about buying an rv or tour bus to live in... we'll see where things go.
