Long story short, a shift lead where I work quit. Then another one quit, which essentially left me working a LOT with a double shift at the end. Time not spent at work went towards spouting nonsense on Twitter, and Fire Emblem Fates. Conquest is fun, in a nerve wracking, killer anxiety kind of way. So, yeah, that's about it. I'll put up more art I've gotten bit by bit, if Fates will allow it~

I've developed a love for BDSM. Not just the B part. The DSM parts too. I actually was not too fond of those before, but for some odd reason, the past few days, I've been finding myself incredibly fascinated with them. Something about the domination and submission aspects just didn't click with me before, yet suddenly, I just find myself so interested in them.

So there. Just something I felt like getting off my chest.

I like dragons. Other large reptilians, as well. Who would have guessed?

-I am done with finals this semester (praise jeezus)
-Transferring to a university in the spring (the anxiety, oh god)
-I got into Dragon Age, save me from my obsession with the sneaky witch thief
-Been double shifting every Sunday at work and managed to save for a good gaming computer, but I guess I'm pretty much mostly using it for Inquisition at the moment. Double shifts still going; tiring, but rewarding.
-Continuous spending on hot manimal porn.
-Endless spouting of nonsense on Twitter.
-Another design update coming soon. (yes, another one, don't judge me, I know I'm a fickle fuck :'V)
-Jealous of everyone at MFF right now.

Some of you have been around with since when I made my old account,  nicky21 and are familiar with the old design of my sona, with the knot, spikier hair, etc., even the name differed a bit. Just for the hell of it, I've decided to think of Soren and Sorenar as two different characters. Maybe an alternate universe Soren, or his younger brother? In any csse, don't expect new art of him because I did a rehaul for a reason. Sorenar mostly had qualities that appealed to a slightly younger me, and since then, I think I've changed quite a bit, and I guess you can blame work, college, and other things for hardening me as a person. Regardless, Sorenar was my first step into a place in the furry fandom that wasn't an ineptly named FA account to look at furry porn. That's about it.

Been pretty busy the past several months because coworkers are lazy flakes, but now, I at least get an idea how busy I will be with a certain extra-moronic coworker gone and not here making frequent and random call-ins.

Been mostly quiet aside from a few Telegram chats and I guess the frequent ramblings on Twitter. But yep, that's about it. Along with school, I think I can manage my time a bit more carefully and plan stuff more accordingly without everything thrown off by "WEH SOREN COVER FOR ME PLS" and whatnot. So yep, stuff is going better, and I even seem to actually be catching up on posting stuff here. I might even sort stuff into folders when I make the time.

Not much has gone on. Busy busy summer with work and other things. I'm also back to taking classes, so I've pretty much been relatively inactive on FA, but I'll try to get on track with posting stuff and answering comments, notes, etc.

In other news, I had a bit of an incident this weekend, which led to my first time getting sent to the emergency room (as a result of unexpected esophageal inflammation), which was definitely an unnerving experience, but I made it out alright.

That's about it, I think. Anyway, Twitter is where I've been most active these days, but I'll try to be active here as well.

The past few days have mostly consisted of me lying around sick in bed. That said, most of my time has gone towards FFX. I'm mostly cured now, but that's not why I'm posting this journal.





I gotta say. Seymour Omnis's battle theme is definitely now up there among my favorite vg battle tracks. Though now, I'm curious, which do you, who've played it, prefer? Original, or HD remaster version? I guess the latter just sounds better to me since it's what I heard first.

In journal form because I'm bad. For those who have me on it.

Online- not what you'd expect, because again, I'm terrible :P Online, for me, means I'm NOT online, and my phone decided to mark me as such. I will probably never be available and marked Online at the same time, because I generally set myself back to DnD when I'm actually online.

Away- I don't use it. But I probably should.

Do Not Disturb- my default setting, basically. I hate the way the little desktop icon flashes when you get a message. Very annoying and distracting for me, no matter what I'm doing, be it something as important as a report, or as trivial as miscellaneous web browsing. DnD removes that for me, and still lets me chat with others.

Offline: see Away.

Additional notes: by default, I'm not online too often because of work and school (or work and gaming during summer/winter breaks), so I'm probably much easier to reach on Twitter because my phone doesn't always notify me when I get messages (but it has no problem whatsoever setting me online; this is fine). Pretty much only online when I'm on my PC mostly, but even then, Skype may not be a reliable way to reach me when I start FFXIV or other games I'm going to get on Steam (can't argue with dem summer sales).

That's about it. Any problems? Deal with it, work and school make me lazy with several other areas in life.

Glad people are liking the stuff I'm commissioning. I would do a kiriban or something, however, I still owe a pic to  awpdragon from the last one, and I'd rather not be that guy who blatantly does another one of these things when he already owes and still has yet to deliver. The artist I had in mind has gone awol for a while now (not paid yet though), but if no word comes up, then I can find an alternative.
