Post 8 true things about yourself, go:

1. I worry that I won't have a happy relationship with kids on the way and a good job in time for my parents to enjoy it. I worry that I'm going to be 50 or 60 and crying to "My Father's Chair" by Rick Springfield, alone. Emo foreverr D:

2. I spend a lot of my time alone. It's not like I want to. Where I am also adds to it, too-- suburbia isn't a very neighborly place.

3. I'm constantly guilted by the fact I'm not making progress on anything I want to do, and then that guilt halts further process, which continues the cycle.

4. I want to do something big and impressive, so I'm noticed. Right now, I don't feel like I have a good enough 'safety friend' net. I don't think anybody I know I could rely upon if I was kicked out of my house, tonight. As you can see, this conflicts with 3.

5. I've spent a lot of my life looking for an answer-- a clear goal that I feel has meaning to me. Something that is a goal post I've felt meant for me. I haven't had any, and so I feel confused about what I actually like. Because of that, I've delved into learning about the realms of the subconscious--astral projection, lucid dreaming, and maybe even DMT--just to see if I can find a goal I can be passionate about.

6. I can't tolerate people who aren't open and honest. If plans change and they involve me, you tell me. If not, I'm pissed. If you're lying to me, I'm pissed. If you blame me for why you lied to me, I'm pissed. If you call my character into question when I point out the fact you've lied, I'm pissed.
Your truth is fine, I don't care either way. But I don't care about your excuses-- I care about what you do. If you are mean to people, with some personal reason why you are mean to people, it's not cool.

7. I am always 100% forthright, frank, and sincere. I may employ some tact with my words, but I hate dealing in lies/bullshit. I hate walking on Eggshells with people if they think I'm thinking something insulting by asking a question or saying something.

8. I'm afraid that my honesty and sincerity leads me to be misunderstood by a lot of people, and that because of this I'm going to have very few friends IRL. However, what's the alternative? Being unhappy and a sham to everyone? That makes nobody but others happy.

If you are interested in maintaining any of your art, you should read this-- whether you buy it, or make it yourself.

Before, I submitted that art earlier in the day to see if it'd be popular, or more popular than other pics. I'm shocked at how little a shockwave it made.

In my opinion, it's hard to do a controlled experiment with something as subjective as art and its subject matter. However, I'm convinced that WHEN a picture is uploaded also determines the reaction of the viewer.

This is a kind of shock to me. Before, I figured it was at least the subject matter or talent I had. But now I also realize it's important, initially, WHEN you submit the picture. Ultimately, it should grow, and its eventual size is determinant of your talent... but at first, it's a different story.

Does this make any sense? D:

Hey everybody.

As you might've noticed, I've deviated quite largely from my 'typical', thick-lined style ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3144965 ) and started drawing pictures without colored lines at all. ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3178279 )

I blame my new foray into linelessness on  LongBlueClaw. His picture ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3053103/ ) kinda blew my eyes open enough to finally see how radical a change linelessness brings.

So, I'm going to open this up to hear your thoughts.

I've drawn pictures that have lines ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5294/ ) and get a lot of positive response. My lineless pictures have yet to surpass some of my lined pictures in attention.

Are you liking the new pictures I'm doing that have no lines? Did you like the thick lines more?

I'm liking the linelessness, but I don't know if it still looks good.

(Also: I'm starting to think that my art just misses some pure artistic essence that separates the 'great' artists from those who just work hard.)

When I had my old PC ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/574049/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/580634/ ) i had a shaky tablet issue.

EG: I couldn't draw a straight diagonal line.

I've been having this problem even though I bought a new PC in May of 2009 to start from scratch from a hardware and OS standpoint.

And I *still have the problem!* T_T

How can two completely different PCs (excluding a HD, and a now-removed TV card) have the same issue!?!?

My god, if you've ever been in hell, it feels just like this.

Thanks to everybody from before for advice, but I'm not sure what I can do.

Yes, FA's back up. This isn't about that.

This is to let you know that I realized how big a timesink FA is-- and so without it, I got some shit done.

Expect it probably by Friday or Saturday..not in a blast, of course. I gotta make it last >_>;; but the point is I don't want to be one of the 1000 submissions that people are going to nuke.

I lost my job about two weeks ago. Not laid off, but it's a lot of BS. During the free time I'll have, I'm probably going to be bored enough to
A) Work on my game
B) Work on Art
C) Work on Porn
D) Game
E) Visit people if/when available

Believe it or not, I was looking through my flash images folder and saw a demo image for the Cheesasaurus 15th page. After re-seeing it, I'm like, "Wow, I have to draw this."

So, that's next up, besides an art trade I just finished.
