You know your back is really bad when you didn't even manage to sit in your office chair all day and in pain despite chugging down your heavy painkillers in the morning... I think most of you here are aware that I've been struggling with chronic back pain for the last 2 years or so... I do not think I shared the long awaited. Diagnosis here yet... About 2 months ago they finally took me in for an MRI and 2 weeks ago I finally got the results. The pain is caused by a tear in one of my lower back spinal disc, for now they're sending me to do physiotherapy but I'm not super hopeful, I haven't gone yet because I need to save up for it, I'm hoping I can afford to go before the end of this month... Anyway all that to say that today was a bad day and I didn't get anything done, so to my commissioners : I'm sorry for delays, to everybody else : Stay tuned, art should resume shortly.

It's been a while so HI!!!!

If you follow my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SoryaneLaLouve/) you are currently aware of what's happening and stuff, if not here's a quick run through :

One of our Ferrets (Idjit) had blood in his urine, after an expensive visit at the vet which included exam, urology and x-rays... Vet figured out there was stones in his bladder... LOTS OF STONES, it was literally full (I posted the x-ray to my facebook page) the good news was that there was a bigger one blocking the way to the track to all the smaller ones and preventing them from getting stuck in there, but nonetheless, our only option... Surgery. Surgery was performed Wednesday afternoon and I was able to get our baby back last night with his panoply of mededication and care sheet. Also got a new food to transition him to to hopefully avoid further issues. Total bill (exam,tests,surgery,medication,etc.) : 1023$... OUCH. Also let it be said I've been very emotional through the whole thing and working on commissions has been relatively slow. Thankfully some amazing friends and fans have donated money towards Idjit's surgery to help us keep our head above water through his recovery using my Ko-Fi donation page (https://ko-fi.com/soryane) and I was able to work out a payment plan with my vet clinic so we could save him. Thank you again to everyone who helped, you are amazing <3


I will be visiting family accross the border next week, Idjit is going to be under the care of my friend xgoatyx and spoiled rotten, also commissions will be on hold until I come back but I am currently trying to get as much done before I leave...
