first off otakon was pretty great even though i was only there saturday. it's not really worth it unless you really like anime/japanese culture or it's free for you (hint hint), but anime cons are one of the few cons where I'm perfectly comfortable hanging with a small group of friends the entire convention, furry cons are always eclectic!~

ok so basically this was my best AC ever which isn't that turbo surprising because it was my second but between old and new friends (as i'm sure my twitter followers are aware) this was a super positive and inspirational convention for me where suddenly I understood all those posts about how much the fandom was like family to them so to cut the sappiness short, and as I go through my backpack and find the evidence of a ridiculously good time I feel there's definitely some highlights that need to be thrown out -->

WOW. Furthemore was a blast. Definitely was not expecting how fun it was considering it was the first year and we had almost 500 people. Everyone kept saying there was a bunch of shy furs this year but the furries and friends I met and made were AWESOME. I'd even go as far to say that it was one of the best experiences I've had at a con ever.

Things I won't forget :

• Shopping cart adventures
• "Let's just pour it out the window!"
• Sharpie tattoos and the chronicles of Geff.
• Driving 30+ minutes out to find the only open liquor store on Sunday
• Broing it up and being sassy fuckin' bitches with . Wouldn't have been the same con without ya.
• being the voice of reason and not getting the credit he deserves for being an amazing caretaker, for being the unsung bouncer
• #panel4shots and kickboxing videos.
• Going to the dance every night and having a kickass time

Really I don't think I had a -single- negative experience at the con. The hotel was awesome and gave us a handful of straws for fursuiters at 3 in the morning on Sunday and was happy to accommodate us another night when we decided last minute to stay until Monday at the same price. I'll definitely be looking forward to next year and for those of you who didn't go, i HIGHLY recommend it.
