Just dropping a note that I'm still here. Just been busy between the dojo and doing PT exercises everyday when I get home from work. I recently started fiddling around with my old gouache paints to paint that dragon drawing I did awhile back. It's more time consuming than some other mediums I've used, but it seems to be coming along well. Might be able to finish it in one more setting. We'll see.

I just recently joined Battlestar Galactica fanclub with some furry and gamer friends. We have our own ship with both viper and raptor squadrons. Our captain asked me if I'd draw some badges for our different squadrons in a style similar to the old WWII fighter squadrons.

All of them are named after various birds so I thought it would be pretty easy to generate ideas. Names like the Frakkin Firebirds and the Hotshot Herons I can generate lots of ideas for. The Obsessive Osprey on the other hand is kinda stumping me. I keep having mental images of some sort of klepto bird hoarding shiney objects. *back to drawing more thumbnails*

Ever feel like there's not enough time to get things done? Doodled out an idea for year of the rabbit and got the poses down. Just haven't had a chance to go back with the details.
At the moment I'm spending a lot of time trying to read an Aikido book my sensei gave all the blackbelts for Christmas. It's the only martial arts book I own that discusses trig and quantum theory. o.O

One of the reasons I only draw for fun is the problem with coming up with ideas of stuff to draw. Was thinking of trying a dragon. Though on my last attempt a friend said it looked like a luck dragon. -_-

Saw the musical the Full Monty today. It was quite good and really funny. Though the most interesting part was I was taking my grandma, great aunt, and one of their friends (season tickets). I was a little worried about them making comments about it while the play was going on, but it turns out they really quite liked it. The lighting department had very good timing at the very end of the show. ;)

Really need to redraw Squeaky. I'm using one of longtail's images. She does get that expression so perfect though.

I went through my old images and I'm not happy with them anymore.
And for the record, trying to type with a cat body draped over your arm is quite challenging.

Just uploading old art that I drew awhile ago. I'm currently working on a pencil sketch of a tai chi snow leopard guy, but his face is just not coming out right at the moment. :/
