Update: My husband has still not come up with a name for the little guy, so I have been calling him Meeko for the time being. This morning we started the first set of his vaccines. He will need to go back three weeks from now for the booster and then he can be neutered after that. Thank you all so much who have spread the word, donated, or made a purchase from me. My next goal is to raise his neutering fees. You all are wonderful. I have also included images of proof that his vaccines were started today.

My husband and I just purchased this little guy last night from some folks who were obviously not taking care of him. They for one have him in a horse bridal as a harness. He also was being fed Beneful which is noting but a corn filler and chicken by-product kibble.

I was informed this little guy had spent 3 months in the animal shelter cause he had gotten loose, let alone loose with out tags or being registered. I tried calling the shelter that we were informed he was in, but they have no record of the individual we were told he belonged to. So I have no information or history on his vaccinations either.

Please help me raise the necessary funds to get him vaccinated and neutered so he can safely socialize with other dogs and for his own basic health. Right now I only have the funds to purchase food for him (Blue Buffalo Wilderness). We had an extra collar he is using and a crate for him as well from our last dog.

He can't be neutered till he has his vaccines. These are the costs I am looking at through the Humane Society clinic (as they are cheaper due to being a non profit organization)

So today marks mine and nine year wedding anniversary. Doesn't seem like its been that long.

*stretches* Still tired and stiff from this weekend. and I started our way down to Vegas Friday around 11am. Would of been sooner but had to drop Moose (my malamute) off at his boarding facility and my daughter at the in-laws. The drive down was rough as usual. I say rough, because the hubs and I never seem to get enough sleep before heading out to any con. I had actually not slept at all before heading out. When we had arrive finally (6 hr drive from UT), I had about 4 hours of sleep in the past 30hrs -_-. That's just how I roll.

This year ESG was at the Palms vs the Hard Rock. I preferred the Hard rock in regards to the casino layout and the sitting areas away from the casino floor and the club layout as well. On the other paw, Palms had a really decent food court and the bedroom was a lot nicer too. I was so excited to be able to eat at Earl of Sandwhich. I normally only get that opportunity when out on a WDW trip.

I was so excited for this years ESG. Last year I did not have a suit, so I did not feel comfortable going out on to the dance floor....pssssst I have a secret. I can't dance, but love to anyways. So dancing in suit, I feel more comfortable. Nobody for the most part knows who I am and other than breather breaks, no one sees whose under the pink mowhawked wolf.

Friday night we met up with and for dinner out at Macayos. Those two crazy kids ate in suit. Silly fuzzies. Later on we met up with :dirdwolficon" and we all went to the dance. Way too much furniture on the floor. Hard to move around or get to sitting areas when needing to cool off. Due to the lack of sleep I was getting dizzy quite frequently at the dances.

Though Friday at the dance I was not a happy camper. I can be quite self conscious, but when in suit that all fades away. Someone I didn't know, not in suit that night felt it was okay to touch me without asking. I know that sort of comes with the territory when wearing a suit. We look soft and fuzzy, and some folks just can't help it. But grabbing my mid section? That's a big NO on so many levels.

1. I am self conscious as previously stated. I don't particularly care for how I look and when in suit I don't worry about it. Touch me there and you take away the freedom from me.

2. I am really sensitive there after I had my daughter. So it actually hurt when this guy did that. I even yelped in suit.

It was too dark in suit to fully recognize this individual, so I wasn't ever able to find him and tell him so. But I would have if I could recognize him *grumbles*

Saturday was much better than Friday. And over all I really enjoyed the dances the most. I looked forward to 10pm each night. It was extremely awesome to be able to dance to Graham Gold's and Phil's sessions this past weekend. I was bummed Zane didn't get to play as was on the schedule. Zane has a unique hard and heavy style. I loved what he was playing last year, but due to a lack of dancers on the floor, he quite after about 30 minutes ;_;. Not sure why he wasn't able to play this year.

Hubs and I only went to a single panel. We don't attend ESG for the party scene, or for the panels. We go for the dances and the fact there are REAL DJ's playing. We did attend one of Graham's panels on Sat. Not that I have any interest in being a DJ, but he has so much passion for what he does. Its just so fascinating to hear him talk about the industry and share his stories. I even got a picture with him whilst in suit on Friday night. THANK YOU :dirdwolficon" !

Saturday night the hospitable had and I all over for a very tasty dinner. OMG the veggie side dish. Om nom nom. is such a good cook. It was so nice to have any actual meal while out of town.

That night, I even got to dance with That was a lot of fun. After a bit I had to step aside once again due to a dizzy spell. He was polite enough to check on me. Much appreciated.

I ran into a handful of folks I knew this weekend. Some of my closer friends think I have a slew of friends at cons. That's not so much the case. I know a lot of folks yes. But I only interact with them and catch up while at cons. I just tend to be social at such events and if somone piques my interest I will go up and talk to them. and witnessed this while we were finishing up lunch on Saturday. Saw a gal with a cute tail and went to go talk to her and find out if she had just a tail or partial, etc.

OH.....:MocHi icon: ran into me Friday night at the con. Shes such a lovely gal. I was so happy she took the time to say hi after she spotted me and the hubs. She even tried taking some pics of us. I will have to see how they came out.

Sunday was alright. MOTHERS DAY wooo. We went to Circus Circus as was paid by the ESG. I wasn't that impressed but appreciated the offer. I'm use to places like Six Flags, WDW, Lagoon out here and Castles N Coasters back in AZ. It was fun, but not something I would of paid for on my own.

Before heading back home, hubs and I went over to meet parents. His step dad is cool and his mom such a sweetie. It was nice to meet them after hearing so much about them. They have the cutest lil dog too who I can tell adores

Oye I should be cleaning up my craft room and un-packing from BLFC, but I am just not feeling it. Not that anyone thing is keeping me distracted from doing what I should...I just don't feel motivated. Ugg I have commissions I need to be starting as well. Wheres my Muse?

So our mini crew (me,  antires ,  hobbesdawg and my gecko and two dogs) all made it into town around 9pm Thursday night. First on the agenda was to drop the dogs off at a friends house who was kind enough to let our dogs lodge in his backyard, and then off for a real meal. I finally got to meet the awesome Adriel. Heard many good things about him from  dirdwolf and Oven Otter.

After all that we went to check in at the GSR. While checking in, we ran into my favorite Cali peeps  byn  just_some_kalak and  DeweyMuddy I had Birthday goodies to drop off to Byn and Dewey. Eventually got to bed around 3am only to wake up at 8am to shower, pick up reg, and drop off goods to AnthroWear. I will go into that at later point.

Friday was very busy with catching up with folks and well having to make an unexpected run to the house for the dogs since my malamute male had gotten sick in his crate >.<. I think he was a bit stressed out from the travel and may of caught a small bug on our stop in Elko on our way up. He is doing much better now.

I wish I had gotten into suit Friday night as one DJ made my day by playing some Happy2B Hardcore. But it was so late when that was playing and me and the hubs  antires were just so tired by that point.

Saturday just flew by and I learned that at least while at BLFC, attend the dance as soon as it starts because most of the stuff played after 12am was just crap. What they hell was with all the music from the point of the DJ spin off till 6am? As a friend had said "What is this, a contest to see who could clear the floor the fastest?"

Before the crap music came on, I did get to dance some, even as a group for a but with  Zarafa his friend whom I don't recall,  hobbesdawg and  antires For the remainder of the night  antires and I chilled with  dirdwolf and Adriel (not sure of his FA)

I learned while at BLFC I need to learn how to dance in suit regardless of whats playing. As crappy as i thought the Sat night music was, some people were able to dance to it.

Can I talk to you? Absolutely, but I ask that if I am in suit to tap me on the shoulder first. I rarely am in deep conversation, so feel free to walk up to me any time. Sometimes out of suit I can look quite grumpy. I promise I'm not.

Can I hug and/or snuggle you? Ask first please in regards to hugs. I don't snuggle with many but I may give an occasional nuzzle in suit.

Are you nice? Heck ya!

Are you cliquey? No and I tend to walk up to folks I don't know all the time if they pique my interest.

Are you fursuiting? Yes. In Squeeky. I wanted to bring Nips, but she will be sent off shortly to see if I can have some edits done to her.

Can I try on your suit? Thats a 100% no go. A fursuit is quite an investment and well I consider it like under garments. Not something I share with others.

If I see you, how should I get your attention? If in suit, just come up to me, if out of suit...the same xp.

Do you take commissions? I do, but I don't art..I craft.

Dealers den? I won't have a table in there, but some ears not yet available for view in my gallery will be available at a certain table. Once I have permission to announce, I shall with proper credit to that company.

Can I draw in your sketchbook? I would love it if you'd want to. Been tempted to pick one up.

Can I ask ya to dance with me during the dances? Sure, but I just tend to swish my tail and sway my hips a lot.

Can I buy you drinks? absolutely! If its non alcoholic and still sealed. I love Root Beer with a birch flavor and non diet Vanilla Coke

Do you attend parties? Not really.

Can I take your picture? Sure, I am at a public event, so in a way I have already given permission by attending such a shin dig.

What's your goal(s) for the con this year? Just to have fun.

Screw you TSA...screw you! I'm hoping the foam in my head fixes it self. One of my heads poor ears was smashed. I also now have slight crinks in the fur of my left arm. Hopefully washing my suit will help fix that.

I mean wtf. My action packer is clearly/appropriately labeled. Also I had nothing suspicious x-ray wise in my action packer. Unlike my husband who had liquids, metal combs, etc.

So mad right now. I didn't know either till I opened up my action packer and saw the inspection notice inside and then noticed how smashed my head was. Thankfully the eyes aren't scratched and the screens are still intact.

So I had volunteered at Unthrocon all three days. Wish I could of stayed longer on Sunday, but had a last minute dinner come up. I had lots of fun while I was at the con though. I meet some very awesome individuals and the staff was beyond polite. I mingled with three of the dealers off and on as I have known them for awhile. I also was able to get in contact with an old friend I lost contact with after I had moved from AZ to UT eight years ago.

Even though the con only consisted of 126 attendees, it was well rounded and had a decent amount of activities to participate in, panels, and a really nice game room for its first time being held in a hotel. I also saw more suiters than I had thought there was going to be.

Unfortunately I was partially sick while volunteering. My throat was killing me all weekend and still feels icky. I blame myself for not getting more sleep -_-.

I hope the con is able to run again come 2014.

Onto updates:

I was suppose to have all my feline tails sewn by now -_-. But I tend to forget how much time is involved with cleaning house, taking care of Zoe, and my garden. So staying up tonight to cut the rest of the tails out. They were suppose to be cut each night after con volunteer duties, but ya that didn't work. Then the rest of the week I will work on pinning and trying to sew 10 tails each night. This is also Kennett's last week off from work ;_;. it by way to fast. Hopefully I will be able to work on the fox tail prototype come this weekend as well. Depending on how complex it is, I may stick to two panel tails just for Banzai and offer three panel tails as commissions and such.

So now that both the Reno cons have come and gone (BLFC and ESG), it's back to the grind for me. Working on finishing up these blasted fox ears. Next year I will plan accordingly on how much time it really takes and time to breathe as well.

Fursuit in the process. My fursuit will be created by  DTWA. I have sent all the fur samples of and now know which ones she will be able to find locally and which ones I will be paying shipping on (coming from the UK). Also shipping what I have on hand for markings. Need to take measurements and make the DTD at the end of this month too.

This month also includes my 8th year marriage anniversary to  antires and my 29th birthday on May 29th.
