Hot and tired. But i did it. managed to finish off any bits (sewn tail, redone the eyes and stuck the ears up abit)
the tourists and the locals sure had fun watching me walk at the parade, in front of a bus. LOL

Should be doing more as the island have many carnivals and parades.
there's one this saturday. (Ryde)
next week there's two more local to me (main and a Illuminated one where its on late at night) Shanklin
the week after that two more nearer my boyfriends mums (Ventnor)
Sandown had a illuminated later in august as does Ryde.


before that i must put some more fur by the shoulders, as you see in the pics, the weight of the tail is pulling the fursuit back, showing bits of flesh (gulp)
and mend my acorn prop as a little kid pulled it and it came off a bit. (Need stronger glue LOL)

Im making a partial suit at the moment of Berserk hare.
started on the arms and paws a while ago (just need to do the dark patches bits)
Now in the process of doing the head. bought the foam yesterday and started to get the shape of my head. then i ran out of glue sticks. so i couldnt continue yesterday.

today i got glue sticks after i finished work. most of it done but just need to do the little bits before i do the fur. I say this is the best head i done so far. not made much errors, but burned my leg, when the hot glue ran down to my head and not the foam. OUCH. it hurted and lost a bit of skin and hair that stuck on the glue as i tried to wipe it off. was a big bit of hot glue. so will try not to let it go near any bare skins again. LOL.

carnivals
that time of year and i know now how i can be in the parade. So I will be dressed in my suit for most of the carnivals that are running on the island (4 or more) I just turn up in my fursuit for the judging. yes there is judges for best floats and costumes ect before the big parade kicks off. who knows i may get a trophy.

Due to lack of earnings and overdue rent, I had to make a few cuts, like the internet. Now its all up to date and my pay is getting better (getting busier, Taxman not over charge me taxes) I can get back to saving up.

Now I has a LOT of messages and submissions to check now. LOl

Clearing old art.
Thinking of getting rid of old submissions from 2007-2011. the recent ones will stay. So if you want to download any old art of mine, do so in the next few days. That includes pic i did people, so download them now. Feel free to upload in your page if you don't want to lose the pic on FA.
I'm planning and Redoing some old art. Only the best ones. so the first ones on my gallery will get the treatment. I would be happy to re draw any art i done you years ago, just sent a note and i will put on my to do list.
getting rid of journals too. Except memes. They can stay some of them.

Story
Not putting on as much as I like to, but as most of the pics I done were drawn from last year. Trying to make them better is a pain. So I'm going to redo them as well. (they just need to be inked,coloured ect) Sorry to wait you guys wait so looooooooooooooooooooooooong.

P.S hope those who went to Confuzzled had a great time. I shall hopefully make next year, if i save up.

birthday was ok. had a meal with my mum, got money, dvds and socks.

Tales of Animatopia .
done 4 chapters so i shouldnt be too delayed with pics as i spent most of my spare time getting the pics ready, so there be no waiting. every friday i put one chapter at a time so in that time i can get more done.

should be back to being more active now.

Been up and down most of the time.
Job. Well I'm only doing certain days, so I still have to sign on the dole. :(
So I been mainly stressed and depressed mostly.
Not doing commissions now, I gave up with them for now.
But be planned on doing something better that might be better, wait and see. Watch the submissions as I shall post my new project.

Squirrel happy meter from 10% to 80%

One reason is not having to dreaded time that its to happen is not happening. Every year my job at the camp ends for the winter season, so it means i have to sign on at the job centre and look for jobs.

I was looking at my tweets (@evesquirrelette) and found one from a job page about a job in a hotel. i emailed them and heard about 10 mins. I gave them my number and they called me to see them (wed) i said i can come tomorrow (thursday) So i saw the lady there and I can do a trial to see if i liked it. bit different to what im used to.
The trial was today and it was hectic. more of a teamwork thing and did beds, then bathroom and dusting later. so you work in a team doing different chores. so it less stressful, more tyring.
when i finished they asked on when can i start. so i said my job at the camp finishes in 2 weeks so i can start after that.

Well I be doing life things. Going to an appointment to see someone who can help me mentaly, then to find and buy a bday present for my mum, in town, before having to go to my bfs place, get on the bus to his mums for dinner. So i be spending time with him before going home to bed.

friday. i have work. then i have to go see my mum as its her birthday with the presents.

so i be busy anyway to go online. but when it does come back i will put up the commission price list. been busy for the last 10 days so will do that when things go back to normal here.

As so many liked my first story, I'm going to redo one of my old stories I've done back in the D.A days.
Tales of Animatopia which features lots of animals, foxes, birds, mice, rabbits, fish ect.
You would say its sort of Redwall like but with magic, battles and interesting creatures.

I'm currently drawing some pages now( Done 3 already sketched)
stories already written but will sort out any silly spelling mistakes and punctuation ect later on when i done drawing pics for the first chapter.

Well. it is kind of both but all connected in some way. Been feeling low due to work and the money problem was because of work. they have mucked up my wages a bit so I was overdrawn in bank, so I couldnt afford the rent, food and internet credit. (can use it on phone, but i need to use laptop so i can submit the next part of the story) I thought i was going to be gone for a while until i can afford to get internets, rent and food. so i had to live on what i got left in the cuboards and only buy a small amount of foods.

but all has changed when i got back from my boyfriends place, i saw 2 letters on the floor of my room. all from the same people( the taxman) Opened it up and HALLELUJAH!! i has moneys!! they gave me a tax return, as i pay alot in the last 8 months from 2 jobs.

So now i can pay the rent (tues) get more food(got some bits already) and buy my bf a 1 year anniversary present as i couldnt do that. (was back on 3rd aug)

so now i can get the stories finished. (just need to write the last 2 chapters up)
