Status update - 1 March 2011
Posted 14 years agoI'd just like to say I have a few more updates since the last Commission update list, but I don't seem to have the time to sit down and post an updated list. I just wanted to drop a line to say I hope to start getting some time to do some actual uploading again.
I owe a few artists responses and I believe two, some money. I'll try to get the concepts and $$ out to you all by Friday.
Right now I have to contend with riding a college over a piece of paper, that they owe me.
I have to finish reading a few more books and running some practical exercises so I can take a few exams and add some more certifications to my resume.
Work has me planning our network overhaul/redesign, to include the server consolidation/upgrades. Of course I'm not doing it myself, but my chunk of the pie has me working alot more late nights. I'm really mixed, I'm excited and dreading the implementation phase, as I'll have to do alot the hands on work, in addition to supervising people not all that familiar with the technology or theory/practical application behind it.
I haven't been able to play those games i so enjoy except in bits and spurts here and there. I used to start on Friday evening and go till Monday morning, but it's just not plausible at the moment......
Waiting for AC, I really can't wait for it. I prefer FC, but it's too long till either happen.

Ranting Vs Debate.
Posted 14 years agoI would like to start off with the not so obvious. I want to say that I've never honestly disliked Runa, I've never hated him. Sure I've never loved him but he was on my like list. No matter what rumors I heard, or what close friends who lived with him, or were visited by him said, I always kept him on the ok scale. Hell right now I don't hate him, but I'm a bit confused at his actions. Well... I've always been a bit confused, but more so now than before.
Today I responded to a question in his latest rant journal, masked as a debate. All he seems to like to do these days is argue with people, call it debate then tell everyone they are wrong, well colorfully and with much name calling. In response to my answer, he put me on his block list. I guess that's how he handles facts, and truth, that he can't argue with.
It's not the first time I've "argued" with him openly, but it appears he can't handle it and the answer from the "open minded" person he is, I'm now not able to reply to him through FA. While his accounts show as not blocked on chats, I wouldn't put it passed him to block those also.
Now why on earth would I go through the trouble of mentioning this publicly instead of just taking it up with him if I wasn't attention whoring? Well simple. I won't be brushed under some censorship rug and covered. He claims to be open minded and a very epic debater. Yet when he "argues" with someone he can't possibly make see his own way, he normally reverts to name calling and turning the original debate into a rant of personal attacks. Which he's done both times I've attempted to calmly debate back a bit, or simply answer his question.
I think the man has potential as a person, but his childish ranting is getting in his way. Though it does appear that he has a following of people who very thoroughly enjoy his rants, and how he ostracizes people who happen chance to reply to his posts with anything other than complete agreeance to what he states as fact.
It was this very behavior that cost him a job he loved so dearly. Go read his journals he talks about it openly, I'm not trying to attack him stating this. I actually hope he reads it, and uses it as self assessment. But I presume his only reaction would be to flame me here, or write a rant on his own journal. Very possibly in that online community he started up so he could pretend to have the same environment he had when he was a forum moderator. Power over others is something most people crave on some level, and some people just find their outlets online.
This journal is only my reply back to Runa, you can say it's my view on his tactics. I'm definitely not trying to get people to stop liking him, I just truly wish that he'd wake up. He treats people like crap, then blames them for his problems.
To Runa, I still don't dislike you, but to hide my comments and block me from your journals..... seriously, isn't that considered childish? I didn't attack you, hell I didn't even bring out all your dirty laundry and air it for all to see. I made some points and let you decide for yourself. When it became clearer than day, that what I was saying wasn't hitting home I bid you ado and was going to leave it at that. When I realized you were censoring me out, for no real reason other than I didn't agree with you, and you had no chance to "convert" me.... well I won't be censored like that.
So here is the journal, in the event he removes the whole thing over this one.

You know what I can't stand? People who try to get into a 'debate' with me and whine because 'I always have to be right', then accuse me of being arrogant, egotistical, and generally an ass because I 'always think I'm right about everything.'
Call me out on it if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of debate to argue a point that you think is right? Or at the very least can support with facts and evidence and examples to further your side? I can't speak for everyone else, but I surely know I don't get into a heated discussion unless I'm right, or at least have very good reason to believe I'm right. Am I always right? Hell no, nobody can be right all the time and a lot of what I argue can come down to opinion...but the worst thing to deal with is people who present their opinions as fact, and get all bent out of shape when you tell them they're wrong.
Case in Point: “This movie sucks” is a statement. “I think this movie sucks” or “I hate this movie” are opinions. People on the whole need to learn to tell the difference between the two, and stop getting butthurt when I call you on it. No, I am not some grammar nazi obsessing over punctuation, but is it really so much to ask that you learn to speak or write the language you've spent your entire life with? When you say “this movie sucks”, and I come up with a series of proofs to the contrary, that's not me 'always having to be right' or 'putting my opinion over yours', I'm correcting your faulty statement. Falling back on the “it's just my opinion” argument doesn't work when it wasn't presented as an opinion but a fact.
I'm just so sick of people getting pissed off at me over this on EVERYTHING. Sure, I could just drop it and let people be fucking retarded not knowing the difference between expressing opinion and statement of fact, but it drives me fucking insane (if I wasn't already institutionalized and just didn't know it). It's even more frustrating when people I consider my friends go on the offensive about my arrogance when I do this to them. It's even worse when they do so when they're making an incorrect statement and are simply ignorant.
How to Train your Dragon was NOT a better film than Toy Story 3. I loved it, but when you weigh out the factors if setting, characters, narrative, story, script, animation, and plot....the only thing the dragon movie had better was the animation quality (seriously, unmatched animation). Just because YOU were able to enjoy the dragon movie more doesn't make it a better film. Just because some people agree with you doesn't mean that it's objectively true.
Plot and Story are NOT the same thing. The plot is strictly the series of events happening in a book, movie, game, etc. Plots are reused. Story is the combined sum of the plot, setting, characters, etc. Stories are rarely recycled, but plots endure through the ages.
Just because YOU like circumcised males and YOU experienced the event doesn't mean it's right for everyone to do it. No matter how much you argue the pros of it, the fact is that there's no scientific evidence supporting it and you run the risk of desensitizing the penis...and should you change your mind later in life, it's easy to cut the skin off, it's NOT easy to regrow it.
The Xbox is NOT inherently superior. If you like it better, good for you, that doesn't make it better. Objectively, the PS3 beats it out of the water by almost all objective forms of analysis.
Avatar is NOT a horrible movie just because it's plot wasn't original. It was a remarkably well made film that revolutionized modern cinema whether you like it or not.

As to HTTYD being better than TS3, well OSCARS haven't been won in decades on merit alone, if your movie didn't pay a fee and scout/lobby for your movie, you won't win. My vote was for HTTYD.
And yeah, my opinion was Avatar was a VERY horrible movie. Though worth a watch, not worth buying, and NOT worth 3D pricing. It's FACT that Avatar was shot in 2D and then "converted" to 3D to gain the higher priced 3D tickets.

EQ2 Models
Posted 14 years agoI've been made aware that during SOE's release of Velious for EQ2 Yesterday, that one of the usual f**k ups they pull with a release, is nude model bug. Now I wasn't online during the bug and apparently SOE was fairly quick to drop the servers to patch.
Why is this important? I really like to collect images of Iksar nude models (in particular). The bug has surfaced a few times in EQ1, and at least once in the past in EQ2. I like to show artists these pictures to assist them sometimes with art projects. Especially so when it involves character design for an iksar.
I'm asking if you happen to have gotten a few shots of male iksar nude (I don't mind the female ones but I'm primarily after the males) I'd love to get some links or the images themselves. If you know someone who got a few, pass the word for me please. It would appear that those I know in game weren't online, and if they were they didn't get any male pics.
I know there used to be a few graphics cards that wouldn't render right, possibly due to directx mismatches in the drivers the cards came with, or with bad memory handling, back on AGP, but that's not really an option now days.
So I'm also asking if anyone knows of a model viewer for EQ2 modesl. Google turns up a few, but the people with them, or those that know how to view the files (without modifying the game) aren't sharing. If you have info on this I'd love a note to a legit viewer or contact to someone that can assist me with getting some better pics.

FC 2011 San Jose END
Posted 15 years agoOk, I was indeedly doo going to write a huge, very detailed, epic journal about prepping for, traveling too, attending and leaving FurCon 2011... After reading most every other con report, I decided to just do a quicky, as it's the trend.
I showed up, spent too much money, met a lot of people, got a little bit of social time in, and came home.
Aside from spending a bit more time not with groups or hanging with random strangers than I'd liked, I had a very good con. There's apparently a ton of people I missed meeting, and a few events I did miss trying to find people to hang with.
On the plus side, I got a bit of good art, about half was take home for the artists so even though I'm home I still have new art to look forward too.
I think if I had to list the single most important fun thing I did all con, it would have to be attending the Adult Dragon Panel (ADP). I missed out last year (my first fur con ever) because the room was packed and they stopped letting people in. This year I sat right behind the artists :D An honest to goodness hoot from start to finish.
Lots of food, lots of waiting on people, and lots of walking around waiting on elevators ;p
Which reminds me, why on earth would 26 people try to cram into one elevator! LOL those who know will laugh, unless you were in that box ;p I should post the pics of the firemen and firetrucks.
I might post the lengthy version later, probably not though would take quite a bit of time to edit and look up all the names for spelling.

FC 2011 San Jose
Posted 15 years agoYay, so I made it here after 2 rather smooth flights on Southwest. Took a taxi to the hotel, and got checked in. Dropped stuff off in room and headed over for one of my favorite things! Bijan Bakery... I love blowing money in there! Picked up about $20.00 worth of pastries and boy were they yum!
Later I got in touch with Rusteh and we both went out to eat. Wound up at McCormick & Schmick, awesome food! After dinner we headed back inside. Ran into Darius Koopa and spent quite some time chatting about art, people and nicknacks. Met a few other interesting people and watched the majority of the early gatherers socialize in the Lobby till almost midnight.
Rusteh and I walked around a bit learning that pretty much everything closes by 10pm if not earlier. I've been told he's done quite a bit of site seeing since arriving Sunday.
I got a bit of artwork back from Fydbac and will be posting sneak peek at the 60man orgy soon.
So far things are going slow, but they should be picking up tomorrow night.

Character Reference Sheet - Inquiry
Posted 15 years agoThis journal is actually for artists, not so much people who know artists, or know of artists. I've been looking for an artist to commission to actually do a full fledged absolute render of Ssvanti as an official, this is the image to design from, singular piece of art.
If you are an artist, and you feel you can meet the criteria listed in this journal, please feel free to contact me about the project.
If you are not an artist and you want an artist to be considered, please point that artist here. Don't post comments here, or send notes to me stating such, as I really don't need more to sift through at this point and time, though I appreciate the thought!
What I'm looking for is basically an artist that can render something extremely similar to http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2090264/. This so far is the closest adaptation to what I envision Ssvanti as.
The project will entail full figure (no cropping) of head fin to toe-claw, at a minimum of front/back and side profiles. Bottoms of hands and feet will be necessary as will close up shots of penis/balls/anus. The tattoo symbol will need a separate close up shot as well. More than likely there will be a clean/and adult version.
I will provide all character data to the artist that performs the commission. I will even re-write the statistics to the artists outline.
Price is not set, I will work with the artist to come to an agreeable, appropriate total.
Again, please contact me only, if you are an artist interested in taking on this project and can meet a final product quality "similar to" what is depicted in the above linked image.

60 Man Orgy Update #5
Posted 15 years agoJust tossing a journal out so everyone knows we are indeed progressing along toward a final product.
I've been updating the status on the main userpage. From this point on however, updates will only be done on the userpage and through
posting of the actual image(s). I'm not going to post an image at this time, as
Fydbac has asked me not too until she finishes
inking/shading. So even though I'm extremely giddy about her finishing the lineart, I can't quite share it with everyone yet even though I
really really want too!
As she said, the hard and longest part is behind us meaning we'll have a presentable version of the image up hopefully soon.

Commissioning Policy
Posted 15 years agoFor the most part I usually agree too the policies that the artist sets forth, otherwise I wouldn't agree to commission them. However, due to some issues that just keep popping up, I have set forth this document to help explain my requirements for the artist and myself (the commissioner) to have a contractual agreement.
UPLOADING IMAGES TO GALLERIES/DUMP SITES:
If you intend to upload the commission to your own gallery(s) please do, I prefer commissions not be censored/blurred/etc but if you absolutely will only upload if that is the case, then so be it. If you choose not to add "recognition" then do not upload the image. Commissions that I pay for (if I am the sole financer) may only be uploaded publicly if they include "recognition" aka a form of commission stamp, defined later. I have no intention of claiming artistic ability of anyone and want only recognition for paying for the work. Do not post versions/stages/examples of the commission without the stamp, in public galleries. I also will not upload without this Stamp.I retain the right to upload art I pay for, in part or whole, to galleries under accounts I own. This will normally be accounts named Ssvanti. I also retain the right to allow persons who's characters are also in art I commission, to upload those pieces to their galleries - unmodified, as gifts. If there is a keyword or tag system on the site you are posting too I ask that you DO properly mark the work. IE Ssvanti Iksar Lizard. Do not use Dragon as a keyword/tag for Ssvanti. If you are uploading to a gallery where race is a preset option, please select lizard or lizardman, if Ssvanti is the only character in the work.
IMAGE PACKS, CDs, PRINTS and PORTFOLIOS:
I really don't care if you, as an artist want to include the images I pay for, in your portfolio(s) or sell them in manner of Image Packs, CDs or Prints. I'm not looking to make money off the images. I only retain the single requirement that "recognition" be present on the image you sell. Feel free. Keep in mind though, any copyrights the characters in fanart I commission that might pertain.
If there are other people's characters included in the work that I commission, you, as the artist/seller, must get the permission from the other character holders to include the piece in your Image Packs, CDs and Prints. If you need help with this, I can assist.
SIGNATURES and STAMPS:
Please include your signature or name as the artist on the commission itself, I very much want every artist to receive ALL due credit for their talents and help drive more people to your galleries.
The "recognition" or stamp to designate me as the commissioner itself is pretty much up to you. It must included the name Ssvanti. Optional text is highly recommended such as the words "commissioned by", "For", "Sponsored by" or something to that effect.
If the Tattoo on Ssvanti's chest is not visible in the work, then the tattoo itself is a requirement as part of the "recognition".
I have some examples you may use if you don't want to make one yourself to match the work. It does not have to be very large, it can in fact, be fairly small. I don't want it to detract from the image per say, however please put it in an area that will not be very easy to modify.
If you already add the caption "Character Ssvanti", "Commissioned by Ssvanti" or "for Ssvanti" in the image the only thing you would be missing would be the tattoo symbol, just tag it right after "Ssvanti" and it can be the same size as lower case letters.

The "recognition" should not be put on hi-res digital files kept by the artist or the commissioners as personal/private copies, as well as any real media. Only publicly displayed versions should contain the "recognition".
Why do I want the stamp? Because several artists offered it as a suggestion, the concept was not mine originally. In fact most artists I deal with have absolutely no problem with it. One of the bigger reasons for it, is these dump sites where idiots don't know how, or just plain refuse to tag images properly. Well, they also don't place the source of the original file either.... Additionally there are a few groups of pay sites out there that steal free art, commissioned art, and gift art off galleries and then upload them on their servers for people who pay them. I call BS on that.
WORKS IN PROGRESS AND GETTING FINAL APPROVAL:
If you post works in progress on a public gallery like sofurry or furaffinity for me to view for approval, I expect the "recognition" to be on it, yes even progress pics get on dump sites and even pirated to pay sites. I'm not saying don't post progress pics, but I do have my preferences too. Anything sent privately does not require the "recognition".
If you are finished with the image send it to me PRIOR to posting in your gallery, do not post it with "I hope you like", or "Let me know if anything needs changed" it's just very.... well lazy and not very professional. If you need a space where you can upload and deal with revisions/share work or just get feedback online, I can provide you with several options, ALL of which are free. I personally only really want the final approved version up in public galleries. Line art is awesome for scrap galleries.
PAYMENT TERMS, PAYMENT METHOD, PAYMENT REFUND
I only pay using paypal. My preference is pay in full upon completion (this allows me the option of adding a tip for work well done into the one time payment), however, based on the artists established reputation I will also pay partial price up front (not to exceed 50% of total price), usually after a sketch (for confirmation) has been presented. Some artists prefer to break the payment into many parts, a slot reservation, and then continued %'s as each stage moves to the next, outline - sketch - lineart - ink - color - shading - final. I am fine with that as well. The types of commissions I pre-pay in full would be where there is only one version of the image done IE, ironartist, a sketch, and on case by case basis with artists in good reputation.
If I prepay any amount for work, and work is not timely, payment terms will be re-negotiated. Normally I will allow for upto 3 months for a full color piece to be finished from the time It's committed too. At this juncture another 3 month period may be granted. After that the option to cancel the commission may be sought.
Refunds - If I prepay any amount to an artist, and the artist decides to cancel the commission after 3 months of payment, Interest will be assessed in the amount of 1half percent of the total amount paid, per month the artist had the money, rounded UP to the next whole month. For this purpose 1 month = 30 days. IE if you were paid $100.00 for a commission and cancel on the 91st day after receiving payment, you would be assessed .005x100.00 = 50cents per month x 4 = $2.00 for this particular example. The artist also will cover all fee's imposed by the payment service.
If I cancel the commission, no interest will accrue.
In the event artwork was produced to some extent the artist and I will discuss and agree to the amount of $$ to cover work performed. I have no intention of leaving work unpaid.
COMMUNICATION
This is probably one of the biggest issues I have experienced. As we are making an agreement, your service in rendering an image for me, and me paying for that service (sometimes to include a physical copy of the work) I fully expect to be kept apprised of the status. This does not mean I will hound you, far from it. I normally won't inquire on status until 90 days from payment, inquiring again 180days, after that I may inquire monthly or even bi monthly. If you rather me not inquire, then you should shoot me updates with information /sketches/etc on the status. Things like loss of internet, trips, financial hardships, school, etc are understandable, just tell me please.

My preference is pay in full upon completion (this allows me the option of adding a tip for work well done into the one time payment), however, based on the artists established reputation I will also pay partial price up front (not to exceed 50% of total price), usually after a sketch (for confirmation) has been presented. Some artists prefer to break the payment into many parts, a slot reservation, and then continued %'s as each stage moves to the next, outline - sketch - lineart - ink - color - shading - final. I am fine with that as well. The types of commissions I pre-pay in full would be where there is only one version of the image done IE, ironartist, a sketch, and on case by case basis with artists in good reputation.
If I prepay any amount for work, and work is not timely, payment terms will be re-negotiated. Normally I will allow for upto 3 months for a full color piece to be finished from the time It's committed too. At this juncture another 3 month period may be granted. After that the option to cancel the commission may be sought.
Refunds - If I prepay any amount to an artist, and the artist decides to cancel the commission after 3 months of payment, Interest will be assessed in the amount of 1half percent of the total amount paid, per month the artist had the money, rounded UP to the next whole month. For this purpose 1 month = 30 days. IE if you were paid $100.00 for a commission and cancel on the 91st day after receiving payment, you would be assessed .005x100.00 = 50cents per month x 4 = $2.00 for this particular example. The artist also will cover all fee's imposed by the payment service.
If I cancel the commission, no interest will accrue.
In the event artwork was produced to some extent the artist and I will discuss and agree to the amount of $$ to cover work performed. I have no intention of leaving work unpaid.
COMMUNICATION
This is probably one of the biggest issues I have experienced. As we are making an agreement, your service in rendering an image for me, and me paying for that service (sometimes to include a physical copy of the work) I fully expect to be kept apprised of the status. This does not mean I will hound you, far from it. I normally won't inquire on status until 90 days from payment, inquiring again 180days, after that I may inquire monthly or even bi monthly. If you rather me not inquire, then you should shoot me updates with information /sketches/etc on the status. Things like loss of internet, trips, financial hardships, school, etc are understandable, just tell me please.
Commission Stamps and Tattoo's

So far the replies are piling in and it's been received mostly with acceptance and understanding. I have 2 artists (so far) who don't want to use the stamps in any fashion and one artist who thinks I'm a selfish prick for even asking, even though that artist claims to not even be around FA anymore.
I've gotten to the point where I WANT the artists signature on the image, I wouldn't mind something outlining that I commissioned the work.
I have a number of artists who don't want to worry about having Ssvanti's chest with the tattoo visible in my commissions, and after speaking with some other artists, I had a few recommend a commission stamp. Fydbac even made me a set of 4. Today Grisser surprised me with a another stamp he said I could use in response to the note I sent him. A few other artists have offered to make modified version if I like.
The concept here, is the artist now has a choice, draw ssvanti's chest with the tattoo visible, or have free reign on positioning choices, and merely add the EXACT same icon on the image as a stamp, a watermark or signature of commission. The old option was "the tattoo had to be visible on his chest." So while the requirement is still, the symbol must be visible, it no longer has to be visible on his chest.
This also helps reduce the theft of the art to dump sites or membership paid adult sites (I don't have issues with dump sites generally, but I do have issues when they don't bother giving the artist credit, proper link backs etc).
Really it's not so much that my name has to be on the art. As I want it known beyond a doubt, that Ssvanti is in the image.
This does still pose a few problems when generic iksar or other "unspecific" characters are in the image and ssvanti's chest tattoo isn't visible, but I'll work with those issues on a case by case basis with the artist.

I have a TON of art to upload and I'm falling behind, chances are you've seen it already in the artists gallery though, so at least there's that.
I have, as usual, outstanding commissions. I'll get an updated list up hopefully some time next week, if not sooner (I'll be out of town for the next few days).
I'll probably not bring the Iksar head mask that Fydbac is working on to FC even if it's complete. We've hit a few concept issues that I really want to get worked out before we finalize the actual mask. IE I want the mouth to work, but she has concerns. So I'll just put out that right now AC will probably be the first appearance of the Iksar costume.
I seem to be losing more time to do stuff I need too, since I started playing EQ/EQ2 full time again, alongside work and finishing up some certifications.

I am also not looking for "I agree with you" posts. I'm just posting my thoughts. If you care to read them, great, but I'm not in anyway trying to widen the gap between sides, or fuel the flames.
I wasn't going to post anything on the topic until I saw an official post regarding the matter, however I keep seeing people posting journals about Sonic now all of sudden banned in regards to porn, people jumping ship and people belittling each other over a fetish of man made drawn fictional art.
This is why I am anti censorship, sure feel free to say/do what you want, but also take responsibility for it, you reap the reaction you get.
I've sent notes to quite a few people and even posted in the actual journal of a few who posted that Sonic Porn is now banned as well, and as of the posting of this journal I still have 0 links to an official statement from Dragoneer on the issue in specific to Sonic (or Pokemon/Digimon for that matter, as they are already being named).
If you jump ship, jump, don't' delete your galleries though please, definitely leave where you are going though so we can follow. I'd rather urge you not to leave, especially since there isn't an official word yet, but if you do, please let us know where.
This site, at least in my observance and to myself, has always been about artistic freedom, not about money. And I have to say that the artistic freedom, in regards to this site is indeed going down the crapper. A choice made by the owner/operator, a choice I may not agree with, but is not mine to make.
I'm saddened by both the administration's actions and the actions of those condemning artists and watchers for their tastes, as well as those artists and watchers with the tastes for condemning back, the ones being hateful to begin with. I'm also saddened that people are wiping galleries and "jumping ship". Especially since, and I state again, there is no official post on the particular matter of anything being specifically banned other than the general statement of "Cub Porn". Though I do understand the concept of not sticking around because the site has made the choice for the community (which is their right, mind you) to not stick up for freedom to post the art they are free to make.
If someone has a link to an official statement by Dragoneer on anything other than the general "Cub Porn" ban, please link me to it. As I think we all know at this point, some admins can't keep their ***** mouths shut, even if it is something that will occur (or might). Additionally there are members on both sides of the issue, that are just out there to piss on the other side, and more than willing to start rumors. This is why I'd like to see an official statement.

The site still allows several other forms of illegal/immoral (depending on where you reside and what you believe) topics to be posted with no issue, and it is NOT my intent to get them banned. The issue of Foreign policy also has other options rather than flat out banning content. I'm not debating the options. That's not the purpose of this journal. The point is, the administration made a choice and now we all have to live with it. Whether you leave, stick around, flame on the forums or going around shouting "HAHAHAHA my side won" Try to keep it civil. It's the immature imbeciles out there making this whole community seem atrocious at this point.

Final Edit My mini experiment is now over. Yes the comments that are above are indeed how I feel, but what I was doing here, was 2 things. I was indeed looking for a legit post by Dragoneer explaining FA's stance on fanart/sonic/digi/poke/etc as alot of people took some commentary and ran light years with it. The experimental part was I wanted to see just how many people would actually of their own occord, look at my request and honor it, and how many would ignore it and post anyway. The results are more favorable than I thought, I figured there'd be alot more moaning/thread linking and points of view shooting going on. I would summize that this means at least alot of my watchers that read the journal today, are more mature than alot of the riff raff playing flame wars in the forums.
I didn't censor anything. People pretty much policed themselves. I did add the " I don't want "I agree" Posts" after a few had already made it in.
Censorship, what I mean by I'm against censorship isn't necessarily about the spoken or written word. I do believe you have the freedom to write whatever you want, and I do believe you have a right to say what you want, but you also better be prepared for whatever is said/written back, or done because of your writing/saying. As to this site, I think Artists shouldn't be censored on what they write/draw/create. Journals and forums are a WHOLE different playground. People need to stop and think before they hit submit.
My journal is my place to state what's on my mind, without having to worry about some immature troll coming along to attempt to dig at me, or fuel a debate that will turn into a flame exchange. I don't want that here I want this account filled with orgasms, lizards and orgies. Love, not hate. I've also toned down what I post on other people's journals due to taking this stance. I'm not linking this to fuel the fire, though I've contemplated it, and I'm sure it probably will in the end. My point is I am against censorship. I have NO stance on cub porn. I don't view it, I don't appreciate it. But I'm not about to tell those drawing or faving it to F' off. Same with some other topics.

Iksar have plantigrade feet like humans, not digitigrade like animals. They have 4 digits on each hand/foot, not 5 like humans.
His normal coloring scheme is darkish green with a lighter grayish-green or even whiteish-green softer tissue. (Not peach, tan, brown or solid green). Eyes are yellow.

Many artists have done a no-cum layer and a cum layer version of each image they render for me, if this is possible I would like the option, I absolutely prefer having both even if it costs more.
OVERALL PREFERENCES:
Primary preference is to have the tattoo visible, if not fully at least partially. If the tattoo is not visible the Stamp WILL be used. Those are the two choices.
I prefer to see as much of each characters cock as possible, understanding that it's not possible in several instances, but positioning where most of the cock is visible is preferable.
I don't like idle cocks. I prefer every cock be in something or getting rubbed/stroked/etc.

Posted 15 years agoI started playing EQ2 again over the memorial day weekend. I've also logged into EQ one after a 6 month break. bear-paws and I are on Butcherblock server where my monk was created back in 2005. We had a bit of fun this weekend looking over the game and doing some quests/slayings.
I noted that there seems to be some funny people out there who are parading around with my unique character name, so just be aware that the Sarnak on Nektulos server named Ssvanti is NOT me.
Course re-learning the game hasn't been all peaches and cream.... lots of stuff is still evading me at the moment, but I've got the important stuff down, like killing, foraging, brokering and playing in my house.
Can't seem to figure out how to search for a larger list of guilds, the in game window for guilds cuts off at about 8 or 12. Currently Bear and I are looking for a guild. Though I can't promise lots of dedicated play time I will try to play at a minimum once a week.

Can't seem to figure out how to search for a larger list of guilds, the in game window for guilds cuts off at about 8 or 12. Currently Bear and I are looking for a guild. Though I can't promise lots of dedicated play time I will try to play at a minimum once a week.

Posted 15 years agoFully registered for FC this year. Room, Flight and Registration are all complete and paid for. Hoping to meet a few new people this year, maybe hang out with some in particular ;D. Like last year, I will be scouting for artists to commission. I've got plenty of badges so I should be fairly recognizable.
If all goes well, I should also have portions of, or a complete Iksar outfit for the con. So maybe Ssvanti will make an appearance :D If not there should still be AC or next year.
I'm just overly excited for being able to get time away from work, if anyone is interested in possibly meeting up to say hi in person drop me a note. I can't promise an immediate reply or that we will indeed get to meet, but I can do my best to shoot for it.

I have an MTS file that was taken at AC, the room was lights out except for the stage and I was surprised by a suiter who put on quite the dance. Unfortunately the camcorder didn't convert over to night vision automatically like it was set too. So I wound up with a very dark video, and so far I've been unable to lighten it up very much at all.
Any video pro's out there that want to give this a shot? I'd really love to get the video viewable.

I have been tossing the idea around with a few artists of doing a large scale orgy piece. I have finally decided to select an artist
Fydbac and proceed with nabbing volunteers to participate. In a way I'm kind of stealing an idea from 
Zsisron, at least from having a multi-character piece of art done with participation from the Furaffinity community.What is this orgy going to compose of? Well it's going to be gay with no extreme fetishes, so only Male characters please. I might do another and open it up to others. I will leave most of the positioning and specifics up to
Fydbac with a few pieces of guidance from myself. So keep in mind that if you volunteer, it will be 100% you volunteer to end up however you end up.I will be covering the entire cost of this. So no one has to worry about paying. I currently do not anticipate accepting donations either.
Rights to re-post the image, ONLY if your character is selected to participate and ends up in the final version, will be given, but you will be required to link back to
Fydbac as the artist and 
Ssvanti as the commissioner. I would suggest copying the list of characters from the primary post to also give all participants credit. More details to follow, however this covers most of the info on the project.
