I'd like to extend a very hearty thanks to everyone who has commissioned me over the last two months. I'm still working on the last story in my queue, but I already feel pretty accomplished. I challenged myself to up my output, and while I'm proud that I was largely able to do what I set out to, I wouldn't have gotten very far if it weren't for you fine folks who gave me work.

After much talk about me not taking commissions anymore, I've decided to screw with all of ya's and open 'em back up! >:D

Seriously, my circumstances have changed, and it's in my interest to write for a while longer. At least for another two months. After that, I'll see what my prospects look like. But as is, not only do I intend to get back to writing, but I intend to feature faster turnaround time for my work. For the past half-year, I've been averaging 2-3 commissions a month, but now I intend to manage at least 4.

- Editing: I read your story in its entirety and implement my recommendations into the file, altering and improving the content.

Hey there, ya critter-minions.

Recently, I was asked to be a consultant for another person's story - helping them work through blocks in the plot, develop characters, etc. It's been pretty fun, and while I don't think there's a huge market for that kind of thing, I thought I'd let you know that I'm going to beginning offering that and similar services publicly.

Job-searching and other business has kept me too busy for commissions, but I've realized that there's a handful of things I can do even while preoccupied with that. It'll be small stuff, less substantial than actual writing, but still helpful to fellow writers. This will probably also include editing and beta-reading, all for relatively small fees.

Hey there, future minions!

I have some bad news for the folks who are interested in commissioning me. I'm back from my trip, but the hiatus is going to continue indefinitely. I still need to find a steadier source of income. I can't write and job-hunt at the same time, so I'm putting the writing on hold. I've got one more commission to complete next week, but then I'm going to focus on getting hired and earning more than $200 a month.

Best case scenario, I'll find employment with flexible hours. I don't know how this will change the commission situation, but I am going to try to make time for stories. I have a lot of fun writing out your fantasies, and I'd hate to need to stop entirely. Whichever way this goes, I'll keep you all updated with any relevant developments.

Good evening, future underlings!

After five months of nonstop commission-taking, I'm taking a break. Actually, I don't have much choice: I'm gearing up for a month-long trip and I know from experience that I can't write productively while away from home and focused on other things. I'll return around the middle July, a more worldly and accomplished despot-to-be.

However, the future of my taking commissions is in doubt, even beyond the trip. I started writing last year to get some spending money for a transitional phase in my life (i.e. I'm planning to move), but now that this has proven less transitional than I hoped, commissions just aren't paying the bills. I'm neither efficient nor pricey enough to match my needs, and I think I'll have to get back into the market for a "real" job. That'll mean less or no commissions.

Of course, finding a job will probably take a while, so I *may* take some commissions during the interim. It's hard to say right now, but keep an eye on updates from my page to find out what's going to happen.

It's been several days since this page became active, and I have been so very pleased with all of the positive feedback I've gotten. Thank you very, very much to everyone who's taken an interest in my stories and therein helped make this a worthwhile endeavor. I've written commissions privately for close to a year, and while the feedback I've gotten in that regard has been a source of pride, receiving it from from all of you now is a wonderful boost to the ol' self-esteem. I really appreciate it.
