Moving Out!
Posted 5 years agoIf this is the first time you're visiting this page, or if you are returning to check in on how little progress I've made in the last three years, I have bad news, worse news, and good news.
The bad news is that I have not posted anything on this page in, well, years probably.
The worse news is that this journal will be the last thing that will be posted on this page.
The good news is that I am moving on to a new page/account/everything.
Over the next few weeks, I will be removing works from this page and relocating some of it to the new page. If you're curious as to what will survive, you'll just have to wait and see. What I'm hoping with this new page is that I can become a bit more serious with the story I'm writing, as I am now much happier with it than I was with the first and second drafts. Once the new page is set up, the journals will be the last to go, and the only thing on this page is a link that will direct you to my new, hopefully more active, page.
And, that's the plan for the future. Whatever happens with this account or the next, I do hope that 2020 will be a better year than 2019 was.

Why I've Been Missing for 3 Months
Posted 7 years agoHello again, everyone. To start off this journal, I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that I'm not dead! The bad news is that I need to shift my focus to education for a while.
The reason I have been missing for the past 3 months is because of a combination of finals and fin editing of my novel, both of which can eat up quite a bit of time. But despite a couple of setbacks, chapter 1 is just about done and should be online quite soon.
However, going back to the bad news, I need to focus on my academics to make up for a blunder I did in my last semester. So after I post chapter 1, Havenmoon will be put on pause until further notice. I may be able to post another chapter before school officially starts in the fall, but when August comes around, don't expect many updates until winter break.
I'm sorry if this inconvienences anyone, but when things get straightened out, I might be able to post things more often. Until then, I hope you all have a nice summer.

Havenmoon Recall, Revision, and Rewrite
Posted 7 years agoFirst, I've been silent for the past couple of months because I was doing a bit of personal thinking about my Havenmoon novel, and came out with two thoughts.
First, I like the whole idea about writing a fantasy novel of my own.
Second, I don't like the fantasy novel I am currently writing.
So, to solve this little problem, I've decided to completely rewrite what I have so far, which means I'll be putting what I've posted so far into scraps. That way, you can still read it as a rough draft and still post your opinions of it, as well as your new opinions of the new draft. Chapter 0 has already been rewritten, so it will be posted with a new title of the entire novel shortly. That being said, I hope you enjoy this new version of the Havenmoon Saga!
...
Oh ya, I forgot to mention that I plan to write more books about this world in the future. But more on that later ^^

Good News and A Quick Question
Posted 8 years agoHello again everyone! Just a quick update:
First, seeing how people seemed to notice my first Lore Page on the Havenmoon novel (which I've yet to get feedback from you guys on), I believe that I might post a few more seeing how much you *theoretically* like it (again, no feedback, so kind of walking in the dark).
Secondly, I've managed to pass College-Level Basic Chemistry, which means I only have Pre-Calculus to worry about for the next week or so. So, wish me luck!
Thirdly, a very quick question for anyone willing to answer: Recently, my family has made the decision to visit the grand city of Las Vegas for a week during Christmas, so if anyone has any advice on what to do while I'm there, I'd appreciate it if you could fill me in, 'cus Vegas is unknown territory for me.
And with that, the update has concluded! Please carry on with your normal lives. ^^

Start of Summer Announcements
Posted 8 years agoI've just finished my last final of the year, and have also finished my first year of college.
Reaction: Much easier than High School.
The reasons why I say this is because I'm taking less classes, the classes I am taking are subjects that go toward's my future career and towards subjects that fascinate me, and I'm not taking all the classes all at once every day of the week. This allows me to absorb as much information I can to prepare me for my future. Unrelated, four announcements:
First, my Father will be undergoing surgery very soon, like, this coming Tuesday. He currently has a tumor in his large internecine, which isn't cancerous, thankfully, but it's still a scary process in general. Fortunately, the doctors say that he should make a full recovery afterwards, but still, best to be prepared for anything that could happen.
Second, I'm still going to school over the summer, as I've dropped a couple of classes this semester and last semester to keep my GPA from getting too low. So, wish me luck!
Third, I'm currently trying to raise my GPA so that I can get transferred over to Texas A&M, so I can continue my pursuit of knowledge. This is also the reason why I dropped two courses that were lowering my GPA.
Fourth, because I'll have some time during the summer, I'll also be working on Havenmoon a bit more often, which means I'll be able to post them more often than I am right now. So brace yourselves for development (at least what I call development. You might not see it like that, and remember: Criticism is more than welcome with this project)!
Speaking of which, I'm planning on posting many chapters I've worked on during my "Time of Silence", and once I've finished refining them, I'll send them sailing across the wide ocean of the Internet. Weather they sink or sail is still a matter up for debate, but I'm quite hopeful about them.
Either way, look out Summer, Here We Come!
---<EDITING TIME!!!>---
The surgery went very well, which was expected. He's in the hospital, and still has a ways to go, but he's on the right track, so that's a good sign.

Finishing What I've Started
Posted 8 years agoAfter some thinking, I've decided to take back what I've said before and finish what I started. I will now start to post more chapters of Havenmoon in furaffinity. Tough I'd very much like it if you would give me some feedback on it, but if you like it enough to favorite it, then I suppose that would be just fine as well.
Starting next week, I will begin posting more chapters of Havenmoon. I won't give way anything now, as I hate spoilers, so you'll just have to be patient for a little while longer. But I am coming back! See you all soon! :)

Is anyone out there?
Posted 8 years agoEver since I've started posting chapters of Havenmoon, people seem to notice it, but nobody seems to have anything to say about it. I keep asking you guys to give me criticism with this story so I can see where to improve based on your reactions. However, because there's hardly any comments on my Havenmoon posts, or any posts on my page for that matter, I don't think I can continue posting this story until I get some constructive feedback from you all. Which brings me to this deal.
Until I get come feedback about my Havenmoon story, I will not post any more chapters online.
If you're enjoying what I write, then I'm sorry, but without responses, it like I'm just barking up an empty tree in a forest that completely deserted. Once I start getting responds about my writings, I'll start posting chapters again, and if, in the future, you all become silent again, the story will also go silent until I hear something that tells me you're still here.
And so, I must ask you all: Are you still there?

Havenmoon Project
Posted 9 years agoSeeing how I absolutely suck at drawing, I decided to try writing instead of drawing. So, I've decided to write a series of chapters based on my Keltin character and the world he lives in! Now, I must warn you, in this book, there will be some... intimate moments between two characters (male/male, male/female, female/female, etc.), so if you're not into that or if you don't approve of such things in the written English Language, then feel free to ignore what I write. If you are a fan of this sort of thing, fell free to read as much as you want and place your reviews in the comments below. I hope you enjoy whatever $%*# I pull out of the grey wasteland that I call my brain! ;)
Personal Fursona Project
Posted 9 years agoI'm doing something that I've never done before: drawing my own personal fursona. However, I don't consider myself a very good artist (at least when it comes to humanoid figures). So, to help me with this, I'll be posting a few works in progress in my gallery and give you the option of commenting on my work. Any constructive criticism (like pointers on to how to improve on it) will be gladly accepted with open arms and an open mind. However, if the drawing gets too many negative comments (for example: "THIS DRAWING SUCKS!" or "HE'S SOOOO UGLY!"), then I'll take the liberty of taking the drawing off of the website (or at the very least, move it to my "Scraps" section). Any comments that fall in between these two types will also be acknowledged (whether it will be acknowledged positively or negatively will depend entirely on how I see the comment). I hope that you will help me with this project and give some support.
Remember: this is a PERSONAL project. I'm not asking for money or other artist's drawings or anything like that. All I'm asking for would be your opinion on the drawings that I present to you and any advice that you have to give to a (hopefully) aspiring artist.
Thank you for your cooperation for this project, and I hope you like what you see.
More information will be seen in the description box of each W.I.P.
