Here is the situation. In ~2012, I commissioned one traditional artist - I liked her style, and she drew ACEO commissions. I collect ACEOs, so I commissioned her one. Mailing service lost it. What about the commissioned drawing: I liked colors, background and body of character, but I was not very satisfied how muzzle came out. I don't know why, but this artists decided to draw my character more like a human with ears. She shows sketches, but I feel really uncomfortable to ask redraw the whole thing.

As some of you know, I'm not so bad commissioner - I'm patient (I start to poke artists after more than a year waiting), I commission only artists I really like, I don't ask for fixes or ask for small things, like to make a mouthline shorter. But I'm really, really and really shy and disturbed, when I need to ask to redraw or fix something. So discussing this commission was really hard for me, I was too slow and I didn't write much. It was real pain in the ass for me. X)

Some time ago, in 2013, she opened ACEO commissions again. I was sad that post service lost previous card, and I wanted original art from this artist. Well, her commission for me was good, though I wasn't satisfied how she drew the face, but I expected she would draw my character in another angle. So I commissioned her again, gave one theme and asked for artistic freedom.

Sadly, she decided to draw my character fullface again. I really like how she draws animal/furry muzzles in other angles, but my character - always fullface, like anime human with ears. I asked for some fixes, to make it look more... furry? She sent me some sketches, with human and anthro faces, but the first one looked better for me, so I asked to make lines and color the first sketch.

Anyway, when it was finished, I didn't like that my character had human-like face. Everything else was fine, but I was AGAIN uncomfortable to tell the artist I don't really like the result.

I feel really ashamed I didn't answer her (commission is paid and so on)... but I hate to tell artists I don't like something! As I already said, I usually commission artists I LOVE a lot, and I'm not disappointed when get their art, I'm very happy!
But in this case... I feel like she was putting more effort in other commissions, than mine. I know, it sounds too subjective. And artist isn't guilty, if she doesn't like my character.
But I just don't know what to write. I know, it's sad and offensive, when commissioner even doesn't write you a word about result. But... it will be very strange to write her like "Thank you for the commission!" after some months of waiting.

Do I need to give her a reason why I didn't answer?..

P.S. I know I'm guilty that I didn't answer her in time and was so slow with discussing the commission, but... telling such things to artist is very painful for me, and I had plenty problems.

It was my first furry avatar. Maybe it's a cat, but it suits my character and personality very well. I still love it and I want to know who drew it.

Sadly, I absolutely have no idea. I tried to google it, but no results. I got it between 2004-2006 from my friend, who gifted me CD with furry art. The file name was something like many numbers, so it didn't help too. And my friend didn't remember, where the picture was from.

In original, there were no logos on her clothes, I added them and it is the only copy I have (luckily, I uploaded it to one of my sites).

I'm not that kind of commission artists, I can't draw very often, but sometimes people ask me about commissions and I'm happy to draw their characters and get a bit money for my own commissions. :D After finishing some art debts, I realized I need ToS veeery badly. I need to set up some time limits, and things what I draw fast or slow. Help me please, point out things, which are interesting for you, and which are important for artist or commissioner.

I saw in some artists' TOS that they don't support gift payments in Paypal. When I pay with Paypal, it shows 2 options: to send money to relatives/friends (you pay the fees) and to send money to the seller of some goods (seller pays the fees). Doesn't sending the money to friends count as a gift payment? Because it's more logical that commissioner pays the fees, not the artists. I hope I did everything right. xD

I usually faved almost all drawings of my favourite artists, but now I had dozens of drawings stucked in my submission notifications. It's pity to clean them without faving or commenting, but I don't have any ideas what to write, and nothing attracts my attention. Did I lose interest, or many artists ran out of new ideas? Do you have such mood?

Guys, I want to let you know that I close my species (silvex) for public access, because of personal reasons. You can't draw them without my personal written permission, to use this name for your creatures, to make characters/fursonas, or to make subspecies.

I'm really glad when anyone draws for me, really. And I'm happy when people like my creatures. I wasn't against erotica with them, or when people made their own silvex characters. But these guys came when I already had a species ref, said they are co-authors (LOL), made their "own" sub-species - silvex with mutations, oh, how many difference. You are NOT co-authors, think up something original! I don't want to be connected with you.

I stand many nasty stuff for a long time, because thought that being nice and communicate, being friends is always better. Well, I'm not an angel. But I'm tired of being trolled by "friends", when they drew porn with my characters, my fursona, practiced blackmail on me, gave me shitstorms when I allowed anyone to create silvex characters. But they thought that it's OK to be rude with me and to keep drawing porn and commissions with silvexes. No, it's unacceptable.

My mother's friend asked us to help him. All I know is that this story is about his wife's relative, and it was sent to them by girl's relatives (girl from the story). But this man and his wife don't know Polish, I don't understand every word too. My mom understood what the story is about, but not everything. Can somebody help me and translate it to English? Now I'm a bit sick... (caught a cold or something similar). Well, actually, I didn't have such high temperature for a long time. Yesterday, my evening temperature was 39 C... So I could only sleep or read smth on my laptop, because I'm weak and my head hurts. I can't promise drawing today, but maybe some sketching in the evening or tomorrow. Now I'm playing Sims 3, reading web comics Jack (omg, my English improved a lot since reading it some years ago), and watching Adventure time. Yay! :D
