UPDATE FOR FEBRUARY!
Posted 7 years agoI've been talking to my boyfriend/partner 
about this and for a while he's been trying to help me out in terms of giving myself a schedule which I've tried on and off which to me personally looking back at it, I haven't been taking myself seriously and it's not fair to the people who follow and support me that I've been neglecting you guys. This time starting Monday February 4th, 2019 this schedule would take full on effect. It helps me remain consistent and to get things done in a timely fashion. Since I'm my own boss, I have to set my own set of rules like any boss would for their company. Thank you guys for being so understanding and patient with me. Hopefully, you continue to stick around for the ride!
PS. Feb 6th may be closed or a delay due to me handling personal business in the morning stay tune for updates in terms of that.

Lesson Learned

I usually don't write journals like this one but when I do it's either to give you guys an update or in rare cases express my thoughts and opinions about the ways of life. For those who actually read journals would probably be either depressed, inspired or both after reading this story which I definitely need to get this off my chest. One of the major projects I've been working on for a while has gotten cancelled which is called Central Damnation, for those who don't know it was suppose to be this fighting game about a man name Issac who gains supernatural powers with help of a mysterious amulet and becomes public enemy #1 as the people witnesses this amazing gift that Issac possess and a couple of individuals who seek out to hunt him down with each having their own agendas in mind. The events of this game takes place in a futuristic time period as the player witnesses some devastating events such as the rich being protected by the government as the middle and poor class are left to fend for themselves in this chaotic world. Sounds like a simple and decent plot right? This may have been just a game but it has helped build strong bonds and hardworking team during the process of working on this project (I'll probably make a video going into further detail about this who knows). Everything was going great until many corporate companies was taking interest in the project and due to my team being filled with little guys, they decided to take this opportunity to slowly break our spirits as the field for game development is a scary place that takes alot of courage and strength to face these guys head on.... Things slowly took a turn for the worst and split the team up until in the end the project met it's demise. Many people have been devastated about this loss including me as Central Damnation was not only a project that was bigger than my own platform but I've experienced so much over the course of being apart of this project and build strong connections with the cast personally.
So what did I learn?.... The only thing I could take from working on a game that had sex, rape, religion, racisim, etc was that working on games in general is not easy. As an artist, it brought me out of my comfort zone as I've done so many things that I wasn't taught in my days in college or in the current lifespan of my career thus far. I've learned more ways to be not only to be a better artists but learning more ways of becoming a designer/ game developer. I went into this project blind without a clue of what I was getting myself into and now I feel like I could take on any project that come towards my way. For years, I've always doubted my skilled and never thought that I could accomplish the things that I've done in such a short period of time but I did it. For those who claim that they can't do something because of (Insert excuse here), I am here to tell you that yes you can. So what if your artwork or whatever sucks but that's okay it's the whole point of learning. December 2017 Update!

Last time I've spoke to everyone I was excited to announce that we're halfway to reaching 500 watchers for this page. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hit the mark of 500 this year but I will make it there next year as it's gonna take some time, advertisements and more. Here's what's gonna happen that I wanna end 2017 and enter 2018 on a good note:
Name change:
For those of you who've tuned into my latest streams have noticed that I've changed my name on picarto to Suki Hopps. Since I have a small following it wouldn't hurt to make some changes here and there to evolve my business. I've decided to change my name for professional reasons as these changes towards my other pages will be slow but it will get there in due time. At the end of the day, I'm still Suki so it's nothing drastic.
Animation Projects:
As of recently I've received a small amount of people who've requested references of my animation work and unfortunately most of the animation content I have is exclusive and cannot be released to the public until further notice. However, the option to commission me for animation projects will be available as all you have to do is discuss the budget and we could take it from there as I don't have a standard price for the option yet. Take advantage of the opportunity while you still can and if you wanna see the animation works I've done in the past, Inbox me and I will share it with you privately via email.
Merchs:
For the past 3 years going on 4 in 2018, my earnings from commissions alone have been fairly decent. It's not the best but it's enough to pay some bills here and there. So with that, I wanna grow and expand my business by providing prints, T-shirts, etc that I would like to share with you all starting next year as I no longer want to be heavily dependent on when the next commission is gonna help save the day as I wanna have more options that's gonna be more affordable and accessible for you guys.
Major Projects:
For this last one I'm really hyped for this one as it's one of the major reasons why I've been posting my content much slower than usual (Other than having internet issues for a few months till now). I'm working on not only a few video game projects, but I also have a comic project in development as there will be more teasers in the future for the project. I've made an announcement for this project in the middle of October which the link is here. So when the first book is release, it would really mean alot to me and my writer for the project if you guys support the series.
I know that this post is very long and abit boring but trust me it will all be worthwhile once these changes take full effect as it will benefit us all. Without you guys, I wouldn't be doing freelance art as a full-time job as I really appreciate the support and sticking by me as providing you guys with fresh new content takes time and effort but for you guys it's worthwhile.

Halfway towards 500 watchers!

I've been on this site for almost 4 years now (as I would reach the 4 year mark next month on the 5th) and I'm halfway towards the 500 watchers mark on this page. I'm almost about to reach 300 watchers soon as I wanna thank everyone who's been watching and following up on updates to my page, you guys have been extremely patient with me on my slow postings. I wanna welcome newcomers to the page, stick around for more art content and stream posts on this page. It's been a long journey and without you guys I wouldn't be the person I am today. It's only just the beginning as my army is slowly growing. Thank you guys and have a wonderful day/night!
