Update: May 2017
Posted 8 years agoHey guys, I know that I've been really slow with updating you guys with new content. I appreciate the ones that are new to my page and is hitting the follow button much appreciated and my old followers from not leaving my side as I love you guys as well. However, I feel that I need to share with you guys who either requested a commission from me and/or is interested in commissioning me I have to be upfront to let my followers know that I'm currently working on a video game project (The title is TBA soon) which takes up alot of my time. But in order to provide some funds for my pocket I still take on commissions while working on the project but it's a slow process. While working on both commissions and the project, I will try to submit in some sketches here and there to keep you guys entertain with some cute & sexy pieces to keep my pages up to date. Keep in mind that everyone whether you're a client or a fan of my work that I love you guys for your support but you do have to understand the struggle of making sure that the content I provide is good enough to please you all, to have fun with what I'm working on I try to do as much projects as I can to keep myself entertained in what I'm doing, and to also make sure that I'm financially settled at the same time (even though what I'm doing is barely stable) is a bit of a challenge so bare with me. If you're looking for me to create a product for you or someone else that you know does let them know that I'm always available and they could leave a note, email, skype, you name it.... I will respond to them as soon as I can. That's all the updates for this month and thanks for reading.
Storytime: Collab Gone Wrong
Posted 8 years agoI don't usually do this but when I do, you guys must know that some crazy stuff had went down. You guys must know for those who are interested in working in collab projects with me in the future must be aware that I'm no longer accepting collabs. This doesn't affect me accepting commissions (even though I need to setup separate demands that I expect for all of my clients to follow before hiring me as an artist but I'll save that for another journal) Here's the reason why....
Many months ago.... Maybe last year, there was a person I've shared history with that I'm not gonna state his name as I don't want anyone attacking this person as he's already received plenty of heat from Tumblr and FA users on the internet so I should not be the one to add on more of the damage that's already done..... So I will call this person Duke. Duke was a guy that I've blocked in the past due to him along with a few others that I've had issues with in the past has accused me of being a sellout due to me turning my art into a business setup in order keep myself financially afloat and since using my art as a business I've done what any other sales person would do when a customer approaches them with a request which is I gave them an offer to pay for the service. I dunno why people get triggered by others who decide to use their talents and turn it into a business but that's none of my business (see what I did there :D). But the person instead of wanting to support the business, he flips out on me and then I blocked him..... Months went by as my business continued to slowly build up with more clients coming in and my work is being treated more as a demand as people admire the work I produce and wanna support the content so that it could continue to grow, Duke comes back with a different name of which I haven't recognize before until I've noticed the similarities in the avatar picture and the artwork thus coming to the conclusion that it was Duke that was messaging me. We talked and I felt bad for the dude since he was looking for artists to collab with and they've all turned him down so I told him I could do my best to help him out with his project in return, he must respect the responsibilities that I have with clients plus other personal projects that I'm working on and that the progress reports will be very slow..... That didn't work out for very long as he barely held conversations unless I've made the decision to start them, he was very indecisive about what he wanted, and with more projects and clients coming in I could no longer handle to workload so there was some projects that had to be dropped. Duke's projects was one of them and at first I didn't want to drop the project as I felt that I could take on the workload but after our disagreements down the road I've came to the conclusion that I had to let him go.... He couldn't accept rejection and started sending me threats and demanding that I work on his project when I was never obligated to help him as it was a privilege as he blew it..... Moral of the story was the guy was nuts and I refuse to encounter any more psychos like him anymore so I would only collab with someone that I feel a connection with and/or am friends with the person in rl.

Posted 8 years agoI know that it's been a while since I've posted but I just recently got an assistant. Out of the 2-3 years of freelancing, at the very least I have someone who could help me with my time management. More productivity here we go! :D

Posted 9 years agoThat's right folks, I got an upgrade! I just receive a new (not so new) laptop and I have to admit that it's better than the previous model. For those who were wondering where the recent art pieces are and why I have been slacking off... That's the reason behind it. But at least I would be getting back into the game as I still owe everybody including my patreons a Halloween piece which they would receive soon.
Streaming Next Week Monday

For those who have noticed that I have been MIA from streaming daily for about a month. Reason being was because I was taking on a big project that I thought was gonna land us a stable job in the industry. Come to find out that it didn't work out as me and my team had hoped. We are still trying as we are currently working on a project to present to some companies that could hopefully get us somewhere. For the time being, I would go back to streaming while handling some other projects to keep you guys happy, and also to keep myself afloat. Thank you guys for your patience as regardless of being MIA, you guys were very supportive and backed me up. I personally thank you for that and would hopefully see you guys real soon. :)

Feeling Stressed

Sorry I have announce that I might need take a break for the rest of the week since I am suffering from stress (as the title says). For the people who have been joining my streams had to witness the fact that I was saying things that was a bit out of character and I do apologize for that. Freelancing has always been something that I enjoyed doing and still do to this day as meeting new people and taking on new projects is a passion of mine. But due to the fact of soon taking on a new job that is gonna be a big break for my career and it's going to be permanent has overwhelmed me to the point of feeling close to burning out of passion in my life. So without further adieu I would not be streaming for the rest of the week as I need some time to relax. For those who I am doing a commission for, don't worry as I am still working on those as I haven't forgotten about my lovely commissioners. This will pass eventually as everybody needs a break every once in awhile including artist. #bringbackthedrive

Blacklisted!
Posted 9 years agoI just had to blacklist someone today that goes by the name of "friendlyinvestment" if you see him on the forums on FA or you come into contact with him. DON'T WORK WITH HIM!
The reason being is that he likes to buy his friends, talks down on them for working with him calling artist who pay for their services "sellouts" when he comes to artist for artwork and paying them for their services. I just don't get it. I spent 5 days (according to him) drawing with a fix pay rate where we was suppose to be drawing on this art program "drawpile" for fun as he stated. Drawing early mornings breaking my sleep. The program sucks I don't recommend it, if you wanna try it out be my guest but personally, I don't enjoy it's basic mechanics and brush sets (which you cannot customize them in the way that you want btw).
But to start from the beginning the agreement was to draw with him on this program (because that's what the program does) for 14 days Mondays - Fridays with a certain amount being paid and everything was going fine. Until he brought the friend to the session which talked him into breaking the agreement that was already established like 5 days ago. So he's a scammer who likes to go around insulting artist for wanting to make a living from their art on their own when he's coming to these artist for artwork. The only thing he kept his word on (which was apart of the deal) was the down-payment. The rest of the money I was suppose to receive after the 14 days was up. He waited until 5 days later to fire me when he could have spoken to me on skype directly about any issues he was having since it's suppose to be an artist and client kind of relationship. I don't know why he brought in a third party since I am not working with them. If he had issues with my services from the beginning, why wait till you involved a third party (which was not apart of the agreement) to break the rules of the deal.
The point I am trying to make is that this person is very rude and unprofessional and if you're a freelancer who is looking for commission work, I would avoid him at all cost. If your a client, I am no longer doing fixed payed rates (unless it's a company). If you are behaving rudely and highly unprofessional towards me, YOU WILL BE DENIED. I could take my business elsewhere.
Do not be that client that becomes apart of the blacklist!

Whether you have the money or not you guys could either spread this information around for people who are interested in commissions to help me out or you guys could also donate whatever money you have for me as my goal is to reach $400 after this list is over. My limit for Pay what you want is set to $30. any amount below that would not be accepted due to circumstances!
The reason I am doing the pay what you want now is that there was an incident that happened in may with some crooks who robbed me for some huge chunks of money that I filled for paypal to handle... All of a sudden paypal basically wants the money back that they bascially tried to help me with, without waiting until the merchants returned the money to me so I am in desperate need of some cash... Please help out your fellow artist in need!

Posted 9 years agoIn case you guys are wondering "where is the art?" well I am here to tell you that everything is back. More streams, more content is gonna be in the works especially during my vacation Thursday, I would be making up for all the posting days that I missed just to present it for you guys. During a long time of not posting, I was handling some issues (which would be a story for another day) and while doing that I couldn't stop thinking about how you guys either probably miss me or if you commissioned me for a project/product probably wanna whoop my ass xD.
But don't worry I am here and I ain't going nowhere. So stick around as starting monday would be a fresh new start especially for those summer posts and as for those people who have hired me for some art I haven't forgot about you guys neither, just make sure to have my email and have other methods of hunting me down so that we could remain in touch. :D

Posted 9 years agoSorry for the confusion everyone as the chibi sale is still going on till June 5th but I have sent some peeps the wrong address without proof reading what I was sending out. So the email to contact me including sending payments to my paypal is rosegrande262@yahoo.com. Once you send me your payments please notify me on what characters you want drawn and the poses that you want them drawn in along with who is paying for how many chibis.
