Regarding FA
Posted 2 years agoHi there. I don't really use this site much, but I figured I'd clarify that I plan to (try and) use this site as an archive for my characters' art, and not much else. I don't really see myself actively using FA, but it's a useful tool. That said, feel free to contact me at Its_Ragsy on twitter or on discord, if you know me. Thanks!
House fire and life update
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone!
I've been gone a while, and wanted to give anyone who still follows me here an update.
Back in september, my house and the town I grew up in burned down in the Alameda wildfire in Oregon. My mom and I lost all our valuables and have been living in an AirBnB for the last 5 months. We are safe, and our renter's insurance has helped us with expenses associated with moving and replacing things, but we don't yet know exactly where we'll be ending up once Covid blows over and it's safe to move further out.
Since the move, I have broken up with my long-time partner. Due to circumstances outside of our control, we were unable to stay in the same place, and I didn't want to subject her or myself to the struggles of a long distance relationship during such a tumultuous time in my life. I need to spend some time maturing as a person, and learning how to be a better partner before I can be ready for a relationship again.
I've been flaky and inconsistent with my friends, and to anyone I used to be in contact with, I'm sorry. I haven't forgotten about you, I just haven't had the energy to talk to anyone these last several months. Feel free to reach out here, on twitter, or on discord, and we can try to reconnect. I genuinely care for the people who have been there for me, and to anyone who is struggling, I want to be there for you, too.
It hasn't all been bad news, though: I reconnected with family, started engaging in my hobbies again, and have met a lot of new, very supportive friends this past year. To all of you who have been there for me during the Covid-19 pandemic, I have unending gratitude.
I'll try to be more consistently active, both on here and twitter, and I hope all of you are staying safe during this pandemic. Please be kind to yourselves, stay safe, and remember that things are going to get better eventually, even if they get worse before then.
With as much gratitude as I can give,
Ragsy

Moving to twitter!!
Posted 5 years agoHey!! I'm gonna be moving to using twitter more often to post new art and stuff. FA is fine, but it's not super well organized, and twitter is just a lot easier on mobile. Tweet me!! I'm https://twitter.com/Kiwiener2 on twitter, that's the one and only legit Kiwi twitter, so go give it a follow.
