ladybugs always seem to come to me when i'm very upset. i've only seen two ladybugs this year, they were in somewhat odd places, and both times i was extremely worried about something. both things worked out well for me,
so i'm feeling very trusting of ladybug fortune as of late.
not all the snags have been combed out, but what i have now seems very small & manageable compared to what i just faced out. and defeated!!!

nothing happened to me for a long time,
& now all of a sudden everything that could be happening is, ALL AT ONCE. family surgeries, relationshit, clinics, mass confusion
none of these problems can be solved through action, they all take waiting. and the waiting KILLS!
i'm like a guitar string tuned way too high. i feel little vibrations flying off of me all the time. i feel high-energy but twilight-y, like i'm half-dozing. happy but nervous & hypervigilant, and clearly nuts. stop thinking!!! LOLrANT
i'm so glad to be distracted with art trades. waiting will go by much faster if i keep busy!!! oh-so crazy!!

& i envision i will spend much unproductive time home, alone, crying, tenderly nursing stale beers and unseccessfully breeding vicious grizzly bears with shrews.
that is, unless i can find something to occupy my time.

Posted 15 years agoi find it fantastic how in a couple of days, fueled only by sex, ganj & quadruple espressos, i've managed to be more productive than evarr.
i wrote a song, drew a bunch of creepy ass shit (my scanner's backing everything up, & tablet drawings hurt my eyes lately! LAME) exhausting myself but i feel in a good mood for no good reason.
alas, intercourse, caffeine, marijuana, sunlight; i can believe these are all i need to survive!! i feel good.
also, adrenaline. i used a lot of FOCUS ENERGY on revealing FEELINGS (it was perhaps less super effective & no less clarifying..) but wow, even so i feel pretty good putting myself out thurr to a friend :)

Posted 15 years agotonight i am whippin out sum new modeling clay to try & make little spirit animal charm-pendants.. they're going to be really teeny-tiny. i am excited! it has been sooo long since i've done small-scale sculpture with clay (the giant wooden fox head in my room is more my pace)

anyway so i'm looking for a cup to catch it & let it out, but i don't really know how to catch it, i'm baked & all my goddamn mugs still have coffee in them!!!!

i have been perplexed by the idea of OCing with someone for YEARS. i've had OC before but could never figure out how to make it work, or even if it was the right program to do it. eventually i gave up because i prefer traditional media anyway.
& i still do, but since i'm wanting to get use out of my tablet and get back into the swing of it, i'm wondering if someone can enlighten me a little on how it works!
i like the idea of doodling with someone, and even though i don't have many people to doodle with.. i still want the option c: any help would be murch apurchiated.

REALLY bad. i know awhile back i said i'd draw some peeps, & never really got around to it. it was a very bad time & i couldn't focus!
i'm still a bit distracted by random stuff, but i'm feeling the doodle-bug bites (and the mosquito bites) and they both itch like hell. so i have to draw a lot now for some reason, it keeps me happy. i'm still not very well focused though, so i never really know what sort of thing to draw.
does anyone have any suggestions?

i have obtained two baby rats, & they are like little ricocheting livewires. maybe crackheads.
i just love them. they are brothers, and they follow me around from inside their cage when they think i have shreddies (particularly, they are crackheads for shreddies.)
they're so much smaller and faster than me. i really thought my room was rat-proofed, but they still manage to try and get into everything. i can hardly keep track!
i want to get pictures of them soon because i have a feeling they're going to turn into big guys!
life has been dealing me some nasty punches lately. i'm going to try to be more active, even if i don't feel so great. having pets always seems to make me more inspired to make artwork. hopefully i'll be back soon. there is so much awesome art coming from you all right now that i want to be a part of it, too (: keep it up y'all.

i want to sell some 1-day ink commissions, but i don't really have any samples of this style besides one of bear. and i want MORE.

while trying to obtain work is obviously priority one, i figured it couldn't hurt to see if i could make a little grocery coin selling artwork. my prices aren't so much prices as 'suggested donations', at this point i'd draw for any amount of money because it's cold outside & i need to keep my place :V
