Posted 4 months agoI've done a jornal already telling you all everything that has been going on at my house and in my life since February. But, do you know when we say to ourselves "there is no way this can get any worse!" And then, it got! 🤡🤡
From the 18th to the 22nd of this month, I went to the hospital, literally, every day. It started with a pain that came out of nowhere in the middle of my wife's birthday dinner, on the 18th. Everything was indicating that it was pancreatitis. I did several tests, took several intravenous medications, and went home. This went on until the 21st of June. 🥹 My wife had to rush me to the hospital emergency area because of my intense pain. Seriously, I had never felt so much pain in my life! I vomited (a lot) from the pain, I fainted from the pain, it was horrible! After almost 10 hours, I finally had a CT scan, and there they were: 8 kidney stones; 6 on the right side, 1 on the left side, and 1 completely obstructing my ureter. My kidney was in distress, and I had to have emergency surgery. From that point on, everything happened very quickly! I still have a catheter that goes from my kidney to the outside of my body, (yes, it comes from the inside, to the outside), because my kidney is overloaded. I was discharged from the hospital and returned home yesterday. I wouldn't wish this pain even to my worst enemy! I can't do anything because of the catheter, so my wife, in addition to taking care of me, is taking care of the house, the cats and still working, poor thing. 😪 I, on the other hand, will have to sit on the sofa or lie down. I still have 7 stones; the surgery was only done for the one that was obstructing and almost killing my kidney. I'm taking 4 different types of medication, and two of them are to help expel the remaining stones. Today I picked up my iPad for the first time since Friday, and I'm slowly getting back to work. I can't wait to finish and send all the ychs I've been working on for nonths, and others comms too! I'm deeply sorry for all the time I had to take and have been taking to finish all my works.
And I also can't wait to expel these pearls from inside me! I will make a post with the medical report so no one thinks I'm actually pretending 🥹

I love being home, with my cats, and going back, even if it's slowly, to work with what I most love!

Ihhhhh I've been working so hard those days! And the worst part is that I DIDN'T POST ANY OF MY WORK, ANYWHERE
I mean..... how come I will show you what I have been doing 😭 or how come I will sell anything if I don't post?
Things are wild in here!
LOOADS of plumbing problem at my house 🙄 laundry and bathroom are kind of connected, and we had to call someone to fix it properly. We are still going to my cousin's house (almost next door) to have a bath D:
In a nutshell; we don't have kitchen neither bathroom since FEBRUARY!
Im trying to update everyone! I already sent some updates to some, and I will send to the rest between this week and next one. And probably will finish all the YCHs I have till end of next week, at least it's the plan 😬
In the meantime I will post an adopt bc I need the money D:
And my wife (she's a teacher) has been also working her arse off so we can manage all this
I'm not complaining, not really! I'm happy to have a house with her to call ours, Im just saying that it has taking a lot from us RN!

I AM a slow artist. I've always been. I, unfortunately, can't work in a piece in 1 day, I don't have this ability... I tried, but I feel that my work is not good enough when I don't do it in my time
And I also work with more than one piece per time, because in this way I keep my creativity alive and functional ✨️
I will NEVER, ever, dissappear on you, or stop replying you, or lie to you. I can take a while, but I am not a kind of person who does this! 😠
That is why I wanted to clarify things and express myself here.
If you want a piece done but you have a deadline to be done, you can tell me before purchasing and I will tell you if I am able or not. I will be always honest, I promise.
I really appreciate all the support I'm getting from all of you, and I deeply, deeply appreciate that you have been part of my journey as an artist, and I hope to keep drawing for as long as I live!
Slow and steady. But with a LOT of love and effort. I guarantee.
