because I'm saving up my funds to buy some faun legs to make the best cosplay my little mind could ever come up with!
I need to learn how to walk in heels...!
The legs are $300, so It'll be a long road ahead!
I should shape up and make more ychs, and a decent commissions page.
Also I might possibly be raisin' prices in the future. Just by 3$ because 17$ is such a weird price for something.

Posted 9 years agoI went to my buddie's house for the weekend since she was hosting a pool party! It was a super fun sleepover and a fun experience, though it means I didn't get to work on commissions at All for the past few days!!
I hate to make commissioners wait, so I feel a bit guilty for chilling the whole weekend ;w;
But I'm going to start on commissions again as soon as I finish this journal!
I'm also getting a Brother RLX2763 sewing machine so I can fulfill my long-term dream of clothes/plushie making!
It'd be amazinnng if my skills heightened enough for me to make a decent looking Otakon cosplay!!

I took an hour-long, up-hill hike in this 90F weather, only for GO's servers to break down when i get up to the cluster of pokestops!
Despite the glitches, bugs, and server-shutdowns, I've had a LOT of fun playing this game!!
Here's a pic of my babies so farr!!!

Welp!! I'm back from my trip to the beach, and I'm going to work on commissions as much as I can!
Thanks for all the patience I've been given. I'm going to love working on them.
The trip was a ton of fun, and I got to do a Lot in such a short amount of time!

And at last, my first job comes to a close! I've put in my resignation, and am counting down the days. I'll be able to spent a lot more time doing what makes me happy!

I went to the zoo on Saturday for a NOVAfurs meetup, and it was Great. Made some buddies, had fun, bought a plush and pet a cow!
Though i had to work right after so ;-;
heres how it went:
wake up @7
leave home @8
the event started @9
DroveToMetroTrain > Walked from the station > to the Zoo!
Got there early
We roamed around for many hours. Much fun was had.
The event ended @6 but i left @3 because
i had to be to WORK @5
Walk all the way across the zoo to follow the steps above to get home!
Get home @3:50
Have to be gone @4:20
I have just enough time to change and leave!
Then i worked until 11pm, and passed out on my couch 30mins later.
I worked 5-11 the day before, and 3-11 the day after, so i was beaattttt
@u@ it was so much fun tho 10/10 would do it again.

AS FOR COLLEGE,
Its that time of year!! Finals time! With finals coming up, and all these dammable projects I must do, I'll be focusing on college a bit more than I usually do (which wasn't much to begin with. How am I still getting these A+ grades.)
AS FOR WORK,
my job is great, I love the people, the schedule, and the pay! Though it means I take a variety of trains and lytfs every week, It's great! Especially since I only have about 20days of classes left!!! The only negative thing about it is my ass-queen manager and cleaning the bathrooms(though the bathroom part isnt That bad. My manager, though..!!)
AS FOR COMMISSIONS/YCHS.
Progress will be a bit slowed, because now the weekends are the time when I'm busiest! I'm sure this'll change come summer, though!! I thought I'd be whipping out all sorts of new, fun ychs by now, but that was before i got hired! I'm sure that summer will let me have more me-time than this hectic spring! I have soOO Many ideas on new ychs to make!!
AS FOR SOCIALS,
I found a fun group a' guys who I've started to spend some times with! They're all REALLY swell, and have even re-birthed my love for gaming again!!! I love tabletops!! Omggg @w@ i love cutesy little boardgames
AND I FINALLY GOT TO PLAY MY FIRST D&D ROUND EVER AAAH
And bubbles is back. that simple fact means so much, especially considering all the recent madness.
I couldn't ask for a better moirail..
I wish i could hang out with my other friends more (Pika, Lari, Sarg, and Wurst to name a few) but I simply dont have much to talk to them about, individually..Sigh..! I wish i could pull a great convo out of my ass, but alas!

First and foremost!!
I got a job! (Hazzah!!)
It's at a local movie theater, and I'm really damn proud of myself!!
This means I'll need a few days to adjust to the workplace,
especially with the company forcing me to take trains back and forth
from college to work, which is a Pain, and time consuming!!
So I won't be online as much due to figuring things out and all that..
I'll work on any and all ychs/commissions in my free time, though!
Speaking of ychs,
I'm planning on making an animated one, It's actually in the works currently!
I'd love to finish it to near-completion in one go, but sadly, It's quite late in the night
and I have an important japanese test tomorrow morning!
And after that I have to figure out how to do...a lot of things.. Shucks..
I have 8 ychs planned out in my head, with two already have been started on!

Ever since spring break started, I've been
off.
I've been needing sleep more, not being able to focus on things as I usually could.
My eyes have been hurting, even when I havent looked at my computer for days
(But that part's gone now, thank goodness!)
and all this stuff sprung up out of nowhere.
Towards the end of easter break, I could bring myself to do little more than browse the web, make the occasional doodle,
and fall asleep to read-alouds of creepypastas.
So my apologies if my usually speedy-drawing habit isnt so fast at the moment.
Maybe It's the pollen? Making me use up every tissue and cause my nose to run.
Who knows! I think I'm slowly getting over it. I've worked on some ychs/commissions today
and that makes me happy. I love doing them!! I just havent had the energy lately, which is..odd.

so I decided to take more breaks, and in doing so,

Minecraft and furries. A furry minecraft server!
I love it. I use it to take a break from commissions and
drama and madness, but I'm still art-working nonetheless!

Posted 9 years agoI've been thinking, maybe im a ych/commission addict? Like, I'm usually browsing through fA for pretty styles i like (so i might commission them) and ychs. I do this for hOURS on end, just browsing. then when I find one, I sniff around on their page to see if they have commissions open, an art-style i like, ect. Then I keep their commission prices page open for a while while i go back to browsing. I look back at it, and think "Do i rrealllyy want this??" And if I say 'Yes' I buy it.
I've bought 5 ychs/commissions in the last 3 days..?? I might have a problem!
(And I'll have to open more ychs to fuel my addiction, even though I'd like a break!)
