Posted 12 years agoYesterday...Concerning $4.99 Rotisserie Chickens
Customer: " Which one of these chicken is all white meat?"
Me: "Miss, all whole chickens have white and dark meat."
Customer: "...but me and my family don't like dark meat. Are there any chickens that have white meat legs?"
Me: "No, ma'am. All chickens come with white meat and dark meat."
(Customer picks up a chicken)
Customer: "Could you tell me which one had more white meat than dark meat?"
Me: (pauses and looks around) "The one that you're holding actually. Good eye!"
Customer: "I thought so! Thank you so much."
(Waits for the customer to walk away before I allow my nose to bleed and my eye to twitch profusely)

A Tail for Wolfie
Posted 12 years agoI currently have a tail being commissioned for me! Totally stoked about having my first piece of furry wear. Between this and my mate insisting on getting me a badge, I feel like a little kid two weeks before Christmas. Will post pictures as soon I get them.

Posted 12 years agoThe first of the month was the start of something wonderful for me. The clock is now ticking and what once felt like a lifetime of waiting is within sight, even though still a little less than a year away. So much to do in what now seems so little time! Super serious (yet still fun) conversations ensue between my mate and I about the coming months. New ideas and scenarios keep jetting through our brains at warp speed. He has a better handle on how to form those ideas into complete sentences and paragraphs. I just sound like "Hey I was thinking about logijflkvngvmvnrogiurfliohckjdghlfdkcn.lnvk.kjblkjdfvf.iofruirflkdfgmfvnvbvlicbeiydbkdubsfvilunlotivenloivnltiunevliuvnltiubykvjnloivtnv..." and so on. He truly has the patience of a saint. For now I just have to keep the big picture in mind and make sure saving and long-term planning are my top priorities.
I have to say: the more I think about it, the more I feel like a little kid who is going on that field trip they've been waiting ages to go on. Wish me luck!
To all my newfound AZ fur friends: I hope all is well with you and one of my long-term goals is to make sure I'm out there for the first AZ FUR CON! I have a feeling it's going to be amazing!

Posted 12 years agoHello everyone! I'm very new to this site and currently looking through all of this fantastic artwork to find a way to really visualize my fursona, Surri. She is a werewolf who emotionally is tame, but looks more on the feral side. A mixture of gray, white, and black with yellow eyes. Trying to figure out if I want to give her some markings or not. After that, on to find someone that will draw her for me and a badge to match. Anyone specialize in werewolves? Would love for some ideas.
