Just wanted to get the FWA journal off my page. Man it's been awhile since I posted anything.

Life update on my Dad. The chemo treatments seem to really be working! His PSA level went from 295 down to 163 after only two treatments! He goes every 21 days and after this fourth one we'll see how the levels are from the third treatment. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers!

Life has been....dull. I've been tackling this huge pile of clothes (was over 6 feet high) and trying to get the closet into something we use again. Just working and dealing with money stress and his family stress and my family stress. yay adulthood!

OH! Going to Time Gate this month! Woot woo! Dr. Who and some other sci-fi show themed con smooshed together. Anyone local to GA that is going to be there? Don't know if I should suit or not, seeing as we've never been before and I'd like to be able to really see what is available and going on. I may wear ears and a tail though and a badge.

The surprise, I'm at almost 500 watchers! I don't believe it! I'm really surprised considering I don't art a heck of a lot and when I do I kinda' get meh responses. I know my poses are dull. Must be my charming personality that is dragging you all in! (lol) That or the great art I get from others. I don't know, anyone want to share why they are watching me? Just kinda' curious.

Anyway, feeling happy and wide awake at 5 a.m., so thought I'd post an update. Plus, I've been quiet and I know it. Nothing wrong, just....nothing exciting that I felt the need to share.

FINALLY getting to posting around going to FWA. About dang time.

Got there Thurs. and two hours in got the con cud, aka another cold. Was kinda' pissed since I had just gotten rid of the one I had before only a week earlier and I had that cold for a month. STILL fighting this one off a little.

Anyway, had fun getting to meet and doing a photshoot with him! Both of us first time doing the photoshoot. Had a blast! Learned that we both suck at getting up off the floor when we kneel. lol. Met a new fur to me He said I was fuzzy to hug and snuggle hugged me. :D

Got to hang out with my horsie bud ! Was great meeting him and paling around. Through him I got to meet and so then the three of us zoomed around for a bit and took horsie pics.

Speaking of horses, got to see again! He's a nice guy. Also got to see again this year! Another nice guy.

Sat. got to catch up with ! Love that lady. Was a late night chatting, but so worth it.

Kept running into in and out of suit. Every time we hugged and said hi. Also got to see her mate a couple times with her. They are so cute.

Also, ran into in the Artist Alley. Was fun to see her!

Met at the con and said hi! Cute suit. Also said hi to . Another cute suit and sweet girl.

came up and said hi to me while I was in suit and so was he! Yay for meeting him finally.

Got to debut Kikir as a full suit for the parade! Man that was fun, being a big fuzzy kitty. lead the parade with Tonk. Was nice to see her at the con.

I totally missed out on the and I wish I could have caught it. Ah well, perhaps at AC.

I did learn that while I live close enough to drive back and forth, perhaps that was not the best idea. Although if we had not done that, we could not have done the con this year. My plan is to save up and stay at a hotel next year. Perhaps with Katalina and JT. I hope so, would be fun. Up to hubby.

To those who have been keeping up with my family stuff, you guys know my Dad has Prostrate Cancer. Has had it since 2000. Well, the sneaky bastard stuff that it is has gotten to his bones in the last few months. He was on a medication for it for a month. Just to see if that would work.

Bad news, it didn't work like it should have. His PSA level is 398 from 115 in one month.

Sadly this means he'll be starting Chemo on the 13th. We are hoping the chemo works, because the next step after that would be another form of chemo. If that doesn't work, I may not have a father for much longer.

If I'm not on here much or don't say much, that's why. Just wanted to let my friends know what's going on.
