Brandon got the job! yay!

Brandon told me he is going to talk to a couple of big wigs at the radio station he works at! This is in hopes of obtaining a fantastic job with them!

I REALLY hope he gets this. Right now he just works there on Sundays and we're living off of my income pretty much. (80 cents over minimum wage)

This would get rid of SO MUCH stress! Ah it would be awesome! PLUS, he'd be HAPPY! I haven't seen him really happy in months.

Just finishing pre registering for FWA! I'm happy

Still no idea how many days we can do, but I went with the full weekend pass in hopes that it's possible to drive back and forth. (today, Wed., is the last day to get them at a lower price) May sound like a lot of driving, but it's cheaper than the hotel room. I already figured it out.

Now, just have to hope Brandon can land this job so we know for sure what the crap is going on.

I think I can go to FwA for at least a day!

If I start saving now, putting back $20 per pay check, that will give me $100 for FWA. (two tickets and gas to get to and leave covered) May not seem like much to some people, but that's a big deal for me. I've got so many money issues it isn't funny, and I'm still trying to pay off the credit card I used last year.

This makes me happy and now I have a plan! Just have to stick to it.

It's official! I'm an aunt! First time too.

Brianna Leigh Gazaway finally made it into this world after a C section. Poor Shena was in labor since 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

8 lbs, 4 ounces.

I'm making her a fursona, because I can. lol

I just wanted to thank all of my friends on here and people I've met in the community.

I'll make it short, but my family has been like strangers/friends and my friends have been like family.

For this, I say thank you and love you all. Such a great group of people, I'm glad to know you.

Life update for those curious.
Saw my parents Tuesday. Found out my Dad's cancer has spread across more of his rib bones. Also the original spot is longer now. The next step is Radiation and a possible new drug if the doctor can get it for him. If this doesn't work, Chemo will follow.
Also, his memory is getting worse. I'm glad he's working on his Jeep for me now, while he can still do so. Heck I'm just glad he's working on it for me, and not some stranger.
Making an effort for the holidays to go smoothly. May be the last Thanksgiving and Christmas where he's doing alright.

I'm sorry I keep posting sad journals. It just helps me to handle everything.
One day I'll post a happy one like, "just had fantastic sexy times with hubby" or something fun. I swear.

Hello all!

I will say I do need some financial help. I have $7 and I don't get paid until next Friday. I'm supposed to drive to my parents house, buy cat food, kitty litter and us food for a week and a half plus gas. Brandon will get paid, but his check will go to bills and that will leave him $3. Giving us 10 total.

Now, I'm not going to sit here and go "woe is me toss money at me I'm in need."

Would anyone want art or something? I can take some commissions in exchange for art. digital, traditional.

I am going to try to make a felt something plush here shortly and post it. If anyone likes it and might want one, that would work too.

Even as I type this, I'm crying. Found out this morning my friend Ken passed away last night after 7 months of fighting a rare childhood typical Cancer.
I'm going to miss you man. You are a blast to work with.

o.k. I'm going to make this a very quick update, so here goes.

The sad: My friend Ken, who I've talked about having Cancer, has 7 - 14 days left to live. My plan is to try to visit him here shortly before it's too late.

The confused: Annette, hubby's grandmother/my grandmother, is in stage four kidney failure. She needs blood and dialysis, so we've spent most of the day in the hospital with her getting that all organized. She calls 1/2 hour after we get home saying the Dr. came in and told her she is just getting blood and going home tomorrow. We're all WTF are you talking about? No clue, more details to come I hope.

In other news, my father and I have actually found some common ground and seem to be getting along rather well now. Least it's before his memory completely goes because there have been many times that he doesn't even remember seeing me the previous week.
What finally brought us together? Hubby calling my Mom to tell her I broke down sobbing over him selling his Jeep. That I want it because it's his and he agreed to let me have it.
I'm so happy over this, I keep holding onto that. Only thing keeping me together through all this other shit.
